Lots of wildlife, not just parrots! This place is relatively new and has rescue parrots which are released back into the wild if they can. There are some agouti, guinea pigs and hamsters to handle, plus a racer snake. Friendly and informative staff, drinking water available, handwashing stations and a small selection of snacks, ice lollies and drinks available. Some play area slides and zip line for younger kids. A great family day out.

We went for a kids birthday party and absolutely loved it! The kids spent over 3 hours running around in all the nooks and crannies. Lots of shaded spots. The kids loved the zip line. Great little party spot for the kids. We will definitely be back soon!

Dropped into the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary on a Friday morning. Not too busy. The person taking our admission also happened to be the official zookeeper, Regina Nowak. Once inside, she found the time to show us the star attraction, Lil 'bit, a cute little Agouti that we proceeded to hand feed. We talked about the operations of the rescue centre and then were guided into the parrot enclosure to hand feed the parrots too! We didn't have too much time to stay but she made sure that we experienced everything and answered all our questions. This is a great operation doing a lot of good so look at your admission fee as supporting something very worthy. Lots for everyone to see and experience. Plan at least one hour to experience it all.

A extremely pleasant surprise! We visited the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary on a quiet Saturday lunchtime, and enjoyed a wonderful 90 minutes for just $16 CD each. We met Keeper Yairon, who let us feed a Cayman Rabbit, pet guinea pigs, and enter the Sun Conures enclosure. My wife was covered in birds - a magical experience for her! Turtles, snakes, scorpions, and lots of birdies to see. So much better an attraction than we had anticipated, and one we’re delighted to recommend. Free on-site parking. Free water and lemonade. And a playground for the kids.

This place is absolutely wonderful! My fiance and I had a blast walking around for hours enjoying all the things the sanctuary had to offer. We sat and held the bunnies and guinea pigs, got to handle the snakes, and feed the birds! This is a great spot for adults and children alike. It's cost effective and is a great way to experience the Caymans in a natural setting. Also, the staff are all extremely kind and knowledgeable. Don't forget about the free water and fruit punch! We will definitely visit here again!

$20 @ for a very small 'zoo' ! ! The chance to visit / feed the Aguti was a unique experience. Plenty of other birds and reptiles .. Cockatoo Coco talked up a storm ! A great stop after lunch at Tuka which is almost across the street. Hint : Free entery for those 65+ if you live on Grand Cayman. Ask for a punched map when you leave for a $10CI credit to be used at Tukka restaurant 2 blocks away !

Hidden gem! The team of handlers are so gracious and accommodating. This is a great place for young families and people who just like critters in general. They helped us hold guinea pigs, my sister's favorite was Vanilla, while my daughter had fun snuggling little Bear. Then we had cockatiels fly to our hands for seeds. I loved seeing the Cayman parrots; two who had been released back unto the wild stopped by to chat with old friends! The Cayman Agouti was interesting as well, kind of a cross between a rabbit/guinea pig/rat, similar to a capybara but smaller. Also they let people handle several snakes (not me, thank you very much). And they have a zipline for smaller kids under 75 lbs and small playground. Free lemonade & iced tea! Very nice!

It's a parrot sanctuary or so they say. Have a collection of parrots, vivid colors, types, guinea pigs, resident rabbits, turtles and some snakes to take photos with. The area is big, depending on how much heat you can handle, you can easily spend 30-45 mins here to see and experience all the exhibits.

This is a good time! They have a ton of birds, as well as guinea pigs and reptiles, and what they call the "Cayman rabbit". Feeding the birds and the Cayman rabbit was a lot of fun! We also got to hold a snake. If you like animals, this is a great stop!

Our visit to the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary was a unique, engaging experience. Despite its small size and the relatively high price, the diversity of animals and the chance to interact with them made it a memorable outing. Pros: - The admission fee contributes significantly to the conservation and upkeep of the wildlife, making it a worthwhile cost. - The sanctuary was well-kept and the animals appeared content, showing their commitment to animal welfare. - Staff members were friendly, happily allowing us to feed and pet the birds and guinea pigs. - A surprising diversity of animals, including parrots, cockatoos, guinea pigs, and reptiles. - Feeding the cockatoos from your hand in their cage is a must-do. They are adorable! Cons: - The sanctuary is relatively small and the admission fee might feel high for the size, but the interactive experience and conservation aspect justifies the cost. In conclusion, the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary is a must-visit if you are on the island. You'll enjoy an unforgettable interaction with a variety of animals while supporting a good cause.

They have more than parrots. They have snakes, crabs, Guinea pigs, agouti, and turtles. This was in addition to the many varieties of parrots. They offer interactive experiences as well, such as feeding parrots, holding a Guinea pig and a snake. The staff was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s not a huge place but worth the stop.

My family loved this place so much we went two times. My girls would have gone everyday if we didn't already have stuff booked. Make sure you do all the interactive experiences. Also Beau was my oldest daughters favorite!!! He doesn't like many people and that was a challenge for my daughter. They ended up best friends and she can't wait to go back to Caymans just to see him again! Thank you to all that help these animals!!! You are angels on earth!

This place was amazing!! I was there for a long time. There are so many birds and knowledgeable staff. Many hands-on activities for kids. A play area for kids. It was 20 us dollars to get in, but it was worth it. You can hold rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and a snake.

This was an interesting sanctuary. I say this because the story on how the parrots were rescued were so sad that I pitied them. I am glad they were rescued. I do love the fact that the animals are released back out if the staff know that they'll be able to survive out there. They do not keep them for tourists to come look at unless the parrots (animals) can not survive without them. I also enjoyed the staff that showed us around, I recommend utilizing his assistance via asking questions or help with the interactive part of the sanctuary. He is the one in the yellow shirt in my pictures, I forgot his name, but I remembered his generosity, knowledge, and his kindness. This was a good learning experience for us and my son.

We had a nice visit to the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary. It’s not a large place you only need maybe an hour and a half maximum. If you have kids they will probably enjoy it. As a lot of the exhibits are interactive They have other animals besides Parrots. Snakes, hermit crabs, turtles, Guinea pigs and the Agoutis.

Best part of our whole vacation! I can't say enough good things. The staff made the visit perfect! My 4 year old had so much fun and we stayed for 2 hours. We would have stayed longer if we weren't all getting hungry! Best experience on the island and we did all of the tourist things.

This place was small but lovely. Multiple opportunities to feed birds and have them stand on you. Free water and lemonade which was appreciated on a hot day. Lots of shade. Can hold and pet guinea pigs, ride a small zip line, see snakes and feed a cayman rabbit. They have bathrooms and ice cream and snacks for purchase. Many different types of birds to admire and talk to. People were very friendly and helpful.

Small but fun place! We spent an hour here and got 3 interactive experiences in with the agouti (Cayman rat), parrots, and guinea pigs. The gentleman who works there (can’t remember his name, but originally from Jamaica) was very kind and helpful and answered all of our questions. Arnold the parrot also meows like the stray cats and can make hen noises, which was a really neat surprise.

Friendly staff, $20 USD per person. Maybe less for kids, but I think kids this place is only for little kids, I do not think kids anyone over 12 years old enjoys this.

Super cute place. The birds are all rescue/rehab patrons. Endemic parrots (Cayman) when recovered and can fend for themselves they are released back into the wild. Be sure to see their Wall of Graduates of the released parrots β€οΈπŸ¦œπŸ¦œπŸŽ“πŸŽ“

Very cute area housing birds, guinea pigs, reptiles. Mostly all birds had a very small & sad background info on them. Glad they were recovered. Lots of interactive areas for feedings & holdings that were included with the price. The workers were very friendly. Also for the toddlers were slides and a jungle gym along with bikes & scooters for them to ride. There is also a Mancala game to play while resting. Also be on the lookout for the FREE lemonade and water they give because it's gets hot!!!. Just be aware this place is outdoors so bring your bug spray & portable fans. Good thing to do to kill about an hour. Worth the admission.

Nice little place with mainly birds and some other animals. Definitly rhe best part is the feeding of the birds. With kids you will also enjoy rhe guineapig interaction and the playground. The same company runs a beachfront restaurant 100 yards away where you get a discount with the entrance ticket

Very nice activity to do with kids - particularly younger ones as they have a little playground area. Our older kids (11 and 13) enjoyed the parrots but also the interactive area where they fed and held 3 different animals. Particularly liked Coco the parrot is is very talkative and welcoming! Staff was very friendly and knowledgable.

Very tiny place. Can walk through in 10 minutes or less viewing animals. They do have kid slides, sand, swings, climbing structure and small /slow zip line, but Not worth the price. Very nice staff and love what they are doing for the animals, but not somewhere i would come again.

Fairly small but plenty to see and the admission goes to a good cause. We stayed for a little over an hour and chatted with the staff a little bit. Everyone that was working there was incredibly friendly and made sure you got to interact with the birds and reptiles. Also seemed to be a lot of engaging activities for children as well - though we had no children with us. Since we stayed on the East End, it was a simple drive to get too. If you are coming from 7 mile, make a day out of it and also see the botanical gardens and enjoy a fabulous dinner at Tukka across the street from the sanctuary!

Cute little place to go with an amazing variety of birds. It is quite small so don’t expect to spend hours here, but some of the birds can talk and there are some interactive experiences (hold a snake, feed the birds, or pet the Guinea pigs - although that one seemed to be more for little kids). Admission was 20$ per adult, which is a bit pricey but given that the money goes to rehabilitation and the animals it’s fine. There are lots of play areas for kids

Fantastic place! We were two older adults, and there was plenty to see and do for an hour. Hold a snake, feed an Agouti and Cockatiels, and hold a guinea pig! Kids would love it here- they have a play area, and there's cold water and lemonade. Oh, and seniors are free!

What a fun and interactive destination with a terrific mission! Lil Bit (the agouti) licked the salt from my sandals, then laid down on 'em to take a nap after a long day of visitors. Coco has lots to say and will laugh at you, but don't take it personally because Coco laughs at everyone. The Sun Conures will eat from your hand, then try to take selfies with your phone. Highly recommend the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary!
