Great food. Most of my group took advantage of taco Tuesday. The mango margarita was fantastic and my brother in law got the jerk chicken skewer which was also really tender and tasty. My husband and I tried the lobster poutine starter and really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend if you are near the east side of Grand Cayman!

    The service, food and atmosphere are great here. As an American, it got a little pricey but everything in Cayman is. I added in the online reservation that it was my wife and my anniversary, and they were ready with a special dessert and a banner (see pics). Our waiter remembered us from our visit 4 days ago, including what we had to drink last time! Amazing ๐Ÿ˜Š

My daughter and I went to Tukka at the East End location twice during our 4 day trip to Grand Cayman and our only regret is that we didnโ€™t eat there every day! The food is phenomenal, and our server Tido gave the absolute best food recommendations. The lionfish tacos are a must, but so are the coconut prawn tacos. They have Taco Tuesdays and it was packed, but thankfully we had a reservation so we were good. The service was also incredibly fast, and the view from the restaurant is amazing. We will definitely be returning to Tukka every time we visit Grand Cayman!

    Had a great dinner experience at Tukia East End tonight! We branched out and did the Walkabout Wednesday four course menu. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the view is fantastic! My husband wants to go back for the rum cake especially!

    We really enjoyed the ambiance, the service, and the variety of food this restaurant had to offer. Everything we ordered was delicious, we especially enjoyed the appetizers on the menu. We ordered the basket, which had fried fish, fried calamari, grilled skewers of shrimp, French fries ๐ŸŸ and variety of dipping sauce, and tuna ceviche too. Delicious. The coconut prawns were yummy, and we loved the seafood sizzling bouillabaisse with coconut rice and lobster bisque like soup to put over the dish. We loved the coconut prawns so much we ordered the coconut prawn tacos with mango salsa. Again everything was delicious and the service was great!

    Great service, wonderful food and excellent ambiance. Our party of four were also there for the full moon. A word of caution though, the Oceanside tables get pretty warm in the afternoon. Went back Taco Tuesday.

    This place is a MUST if youโ€™re on the East End. SUPER friendly service and fantastic food! Great view of the beach, ocean breeze on the patio, and lovely, refreshing cocktails. The hot/cold seafood platter is perfect for a local catch blend, and donโ€™t sleep on the gnocchi!

    Good spot with a great view on the patio. The food is decent, I wouldn't rave about it tbh. It's 3 for food and 4 for service and atmosphere so I just rounded up to a 4. Food still needs some touches to get to a 4 and beyond in my opinion, but definitely a spot to check out in the east. Dinner spot with a view. Can be better if they had some music playing in the background...a bit too quiet, kinda like a library:)

    First trip ever to Tukka East End for us on a nice Saturday afternoon. It's a nice drive from Georgetown and this being the wind down of tourist season, a pleasant experience at what looks to be a busy spot during the high tourist months. We were greeted and seated promptly. There was only one other couple when we arrived so it was a nice and peaceful lunch. We ordered the Conch and Crocodile Fritters with our beverages and they were absolutely delicious. The sauces were perfect too. We both enjoyed them and would order them again. Lionfish was not available so I tried the Coconut Prawn Tacos and my wife ordered the Jerk Chicken Quesadilla. We both very much enjoyed our meals and the attentive service. Bonus points for the talkative Cayman parrots in the trees above our car. All in all, a very nice experience and we will defintely return again.

    {"0":"Food was very good, had the Lion fish tacos which were very good as were the chicken quesadillas. Recommend the Rum Runner as a good flavorful cocktail. Server was exceptionally slow with only a couple tables was hard to find her or get her attention. Had to get our own ketchup and extra napkins. View was so nice, and the Pier was an extra bonus which we loved.","2":["0","240"]}

    ["Every bite at Tukka was unreal! Unassuming exterior but filled with delicious cuisine! Our appetizer was kangaroo pops and sausage with a delicious bbq sauce. The meat tasted like a “beefy lamb” and was chewy but delicious without much of a gamy taste. Our main course was Lion fish and Mahi Mahi tacos, both fresh from the island. My wife and I agreed they were the ABSOLUTE BEST tacos we’ve ever had! My favorite were the lion fish, super flaky meat and batter with a ton of flavor and mouth watering sauce. We finished with a delicious rum cake!
Our waiter Tido was amazing! Had great recommendations and conversations about the restaurant, cuisine and the island! Told us about the celebrities that have visited the restaurant including Mark Cuban and Taylor Swift. Thanks Tido for being one of the best waiters we’ve ever had!",null,[0,240]]

    {"0":"Tukka’s Sunday brunch is GREAT and a must try. We also went for dinner and had the lionfish tacos and yellow curry. Both really good. The lionfish is unique, flaky, and super refreshing. The curry comes with an in house made mango chutney that complements the curry so well I couldn’t stop eating it! Excellent service, highly recommend!","2":["0","337"]}

    {"0":"We were headed back to the 7 mile area after exploring East End and decided to stop for a drink along the way. We discovered this very unique spot driving by. We weren’t hungry but since we were already here and the views were amazing, we decided to sample a few items on the Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour menu. Food and drinks were decent. They have a bird feeding show which looked like fun. They also have a couple animals at the bottom of the restaurant. I particularly enjoyed walking out to view the ocean.","2":["0","238"]}

    We had a lovely evening at Tukka! We arrived in time for the Frigate bird feeding at 5pm, which is definitely something to experience, or at least see, if too nervous to do the feeding. Everyone greeted us with a smile and a hello as soon as we walked in, and Tido, our main waiter for the evening, was excellent. We did the โ€œwalk about Wednesdayโ€, which offered variety and value. When sitting outside, you are right on the water, so be sure to have something to hold back your hair, because the breeze is amazing. We will go back here every time, it is a must!

    ["Tukka is a local favourite and it was easy to see why after visiting! We stopped by after enthusiastic recommendations from the Cayman Parrot Sanctuary down the road.

We ordered the Tukka seafood basket, kangaroo lollipops & satay, lobster bisque, and cayman seafood chowder. Everything was delicious! From the basket, I enjoyed the ceviche and lobster tail the most. The kangaroo was nicely cooked and well seasoned. Plus, the soups were heartily filled with tasty bites of seafood.

From the outside seats, you get a lovely view of the sea. I'd recommend scheduling an early dinner just to make sure you're there in time for the 5pm frigate feeding! They prep fish and gloves for you to use to feed the birds. The frigates swoop in to grab the food off your hand when it's your turn to stand on the rock and hold out the fish for them!",null,[0,166]]

    Great time on the water at Tukka East. Frigate feeding at 5pm. Taco Tuesday was a great treat. The Mahi tacos were very good, but I really enjoyed the Lion fish tacos. Great atmosphere and great scenery. Dessert was not to be missed.

    Absolutely delicious! We went around lunch time and it was not too busy. The food was fresh, well prepared and the best we have had so far on the island. My partner was able to talk with our server about his gluten restrictions, which was a welcome surprise. Would absolutely come back!

    Great view, relaxed vibe, right on the water. Lion fish tacos were great and the ceviche was amazing too. But, what you must try is their own rum. You can only get it at the restaurant, a very good sipping rum that would stand up to the best of them.

    Was passing thru and touring the east end. After I visited the parrot sanctuary, you get 10% off at Tukka. Really enjoyed the crocodile and conk fritters. The view on the patio is excellent. On Sundays they have a buffet that looked great, I opted out as I was only in for a snack :)

    {"0":"After so many wonderful reviews how could you not go here? Perfect end to the East End sight seeing of Blowholes, Ten Sails, etc.
Taco Tuesday had 2/$7 tacos which is an excellent bargain. The atmosphere is lovely-you can eat inside, on the outdoor deck, or down by the water. The menu is expansive and kid friendly as well. The drinks are fabulous and well priced ($10/12). Had to try the kangaroo sausage-not bad!
The only drawback was the hour long wait for our food. Like I said, it was taco Tuesday and incredibly busy. The drinks and trips down the new dock and to visit the iguana and rabbit occupied our time.
I would recommend the restaurant. We had a reservation and given the size of our party (5) and time (7pm) I think it was a good idea.","2":["0","206"]}

    This is a complicated review to write, so I will try and do my best to say why. Let's start easy, with the food. Great flavours for the dishes we tried (lobster poutine, kangaroo pops, tuna tartare, conch and crocodile fritters and lion fish tacos). Dessert was decent, but I think their efforts go into the rest of the menu. The drinks were good, but a little on the weak side compared to others on the island. Unfortunately I felt a bit underwhelmed on the portion sizing and I felt that other places on the island offered more for the money. Onto the service; the service staff themselves were great. Lots of them, which made ordering, etc fast, but they visually looked overwhelmed at times. They were running their feet off for sure. They brought the food out very quickly, which was ok, but it was almost TOO fast. Within ten minutes of ordering, we had all our food. It seemed like the first place we went to on the island that was more concerned with turning over tables than allowing people to enjoy their time. I wouldn't necessarily say we got pushed out, but there was an underlying pressure it seemed. Lastly, the view......outstanding. As with many places on the island on the shore the view was amazing. Right on the ocean, cool breeze, lovely sunset. That's what makes this review complicated to write. Because if we had more time to sit, relax, and enjoy our foods and the view, I think I could have rated it higher. But I just kept getting the sense it was turnover vs atmosphere. It just rubbed me a bit the wrong way.

    Headline: Sixty USD for brunch. We were shown to our seats past an avalanche of garish Beach Kitsch decor and never given any menu to indicate a price. We had a group of eight, none of whom ordered anything stronger than a Pepsi. The food was equivalent to a generous wedding reception spread (because we remarked how similar it was to the fare at the wedding we'd just attended), and generally tasty considering it is served buffet style in chafing dishes. The staff were kind and attentive. But ultimately our jaws dropped when we received the bill. Quite a bit of cash for the experience of half our table being rained on while they ate! We felt like we'd been taken for a ride and would recommend some better upfront signage so people know what they're getting in to.

    Absolutely LOVE this place. AMAZING food, service, location, etc. I can't say enough about it. They pick us up & drop us back off at our resort. Visited twice so far & could, honestly, eat every meal here & not feel bad about it. Thanks for the hospitality, Tukka!

    ["The best restaurant that we have experienced on the entire island. It’s 45 min from 7mile beach, but it’s worth the drive. Best calamari I had in a while. Great seafood appetizers. We tried Kangaroo as an appetizer as well. Lobster linguine was great and also the kebab with filet, chicken, lobster and prawn. Great atmosphere directly on the water. We also went to west location but east was better.",null,[0,240]]

    This aussie-style restaurant was unique and had a lot of variety in the menu! We enjoyed the South indian curry and a plain cheeseburger. At the time of our dinner, one of the staff carried seafood scraps down to the beach front and hand-fed the local wild seabirds! many tourists and children joined in on the fun and games. Our server, Lyca, was a complete sweetheart, helping me navigate the menu with my dietary restrictions and even helped me determine the right spice level for my curry! We really enjoyed this spot and highly recommend to others. if youโ€™re in a group larger than 2 i would recommend making a reservation!

    We just finished our first morning dives of our vacation on the East End of Grand Cayman and were famished. Close to the dive shop is Tukka East so we dropped in. Very friendly service. Sat out on the patio outdoors overlooking the water. We were intrigued by the Australian-Caribbean fusion menu. We went for a variety so ordered the Seafood Platter, Kangaroo Lolli-pops & Satay, Garlic Prawns and Seafood Chowder. The food arrived at our table promptly while still on our first round of local beers. Everything was tasty. The seafood platter came with a small lobster tail that was a bit chewy(overcooked). The rest of the dish was good. The kangaroo was dry and a bit tough but well flavoured. The star of the day goes to the Seafood Chowder which was not too heavy but full of chunks of delicious ingredients. Not to be left out, the Garlic Prawns were garlicky and delicious too. So many interesting restaurants to try but if time permits for a second round, I'll definitely put Tukka East at the top of my list! You might look at the prices and be shocked when you convert the Cayman dollar to your own currency - in my case, CAD - but everything tends to be expensive here. Just ask any locals but as a tourist, it's worth it.

    Great place to grab some fish tacos while driving in the east end. We were here on a Tuesday and there was a special (6 bucks for two tacos). Beautiful setting and decor (australian inspired). The only downside was the service, the waiters werenโ€™t so accommodating.

    Best meal we had on the island! We got the coconut shrimp which were HUGE with a great tasting sweet chili sauce , lobbie bisque with bread that was amazing, and the skewers with everything on them. Also, super strong cocktails. They had huge fish swimming below you that you could watch. They even gave us a free ride back to our hotel. 10/10 recommend!

    A taste of Australian food with an island twist ! I had the Kanga - Banga . First time having kangaroo and truly enjoyed it! My wife had the Tuna with Lobster Risotto and was absolutely wonderful! You can even feed the Frigates with a professional as your guide. Frigates have a wing span of nearly 8 ft.
