I love ordering fine Scandinavian products from Fjorn for gifts and my home. They have a lovely selection, great quality, quick shipping and good packaging. Best of all is the personal customer service with exceptional communication. Overall they make ordering a positive experience you can count on.

The best of Scandinavia in the most adorable shoppe. Sigurd and his team are the loveliest folks in town. We have purchased gorgeous lighting for our home, ornaments, beautiful blankets gifts, chocolates…everything is of the highest quality. We are so happy to have Fjorn in our beautiful village. We are in our way today to pick up a few gnomes and other goodies for stockings and gifts.

I only just put down my Pappelina plastic rug and really like the cheerful appearance. I have it just inside the front door in hopes it will survive our messy winters here in Taos, NM. It interesting too that this plastic rug doesn’t look plastic at all until you get up real close. So far so good. I’m really happy with my purchase.

I have both shopped at Fjorn for a few years and have never had a problem others have described. I have found the staff courteous and friendly. While they have had problems receiving merchandise from the vendors, that is not their fault. They are dealing with foreign vendors that do not always share the same values concerning customer service as we Americans do. When I have had issues, they have corrected them. As for contacting them, they are generally closed on Mondays and Sundays, except for certain holiday times and peak tourist season. They do not have long hours during the day and are on California time. This is not a large operation but a locally owned business. I visited their store, which is quite small but always has an inviting atmosphere and is tastefully merchandise. I have worked in retail for many years and know there are two sides to every story. While there were problems at times in the past, the owner and staff have made great strides in contacting customers and following up if there is an issue. Yes, there products can be pricey but they are of higher quality and worth it. Some are out of my price range but there is much I can afford and have enjoyed. i also appreciate that the owner will not continue to carry a product line that does not meet his standards for quality and timely delivery so as not to create issues down the road.

I placed my first order with Fjorn-by-the-sea this afternoon. Twenty-three minutes after I placed the order I received an email letting me know that my order had been shipped. That is service! This is my first order with them, but with this kind of service I am a customer for life.They have so many lovely items! I ordered 4 felted wool tea cozies.They look darling and i think they will be wonderful. It is especially nice to know that people are finding ways to safely and responsibly take care of their business during these trying times. I will post an update after I receive my tea cozies.

Beware! I bought a $260 wool blanket from them as a gift. It was scratchy and definitely not worth the money. They informed me that it is final sale - which is barely visible on their website.

We received four Ekelund tea towels from Fjorn Scandinavian as a Christmas gift. What a wonderful present! They are beautiful botanical prints, woven out of wonderful silky cotton, and so well made that they need no ironing to look good. I am happy to be introduced to this wonderful company. And though some seem to have have had problems with delivery, our towels arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. Thank you!

The website said the item I ordered would be delivered beginning May1, as in nearly two months ago. Great! I pressed "yes." Only to have this company sit on my order, charge my credit card, for over a week. They only let me know it would in fact be 4 to 6 weeks before I got my order after 1 e-mail inquiry that went unanswered and 2 telephone calls. They have very nice products, but zero customer service. Needless to say, I canceled my order.
