We came here for lunch on a Saturday. Making a reservation prior is recommended. They run busy most days. For drinks - we tried the Rumchata hot cocoa (delicious!) and a whiskey cocktail. Both were great! I got the chili egg puff and my husband got their mushroom burger. Portion sizes are generous, I had to carry my leftovers home. Would have been nice if the burger was fully assembled, but nevertheless tasted great. Chili egg puff had the perfect hit of jalapeños and cheese. Other diners came by and asked what I was having! Overall, a great meal!

The Southwestern Eggs Benedict & the Sourdough French Toast were delicious. We went twice for breakfast and had a great waitress each time. There is outside seating where I saw someone bring their dog, which I'll remember for the future. Highly recommend.

It's one of the best Resturaunts out there. I always go when I am in town and always are blown away by the food. I am never disappointed. With large portions and many options, it's always incredibly difficult to choose a dish! I always get pasta dishes, and my family does, too. I don't know what to say more, but I will always be coming back to Rosines, no matter what. Thank you!

I enjoyed the Angel hair with prawns and a cup of cream of mushrooms soup. They deserved 5☆ because The food is good, and the service is great. I was here at lunch time, and I made a mistake by enjoying the soup with bread&butter. I could not finish the Angel hair so it left in a container with me to go back to the hotel. Any item on the menu is good. And be sure you show up with an empty stomach. Enjoy Rosine's!

A nice place for breakfast. Portions are really good and the menu is really huge. You have a wide range to choose from. We tried three different preparations of egg. Yummm. They also tailor it to your needs (minus yolk etc). Truly scrumptious.

Rosine’s is “cooking with gas.” LOL. Too far to walk from the aquarium, but it was very much worth the short detour. The food and service is just fantastic. The portions are generous and the service is prompt. The BBQ ribs were delicious. The house special lasagna was quite a meal. The squid appetizer was very well prepared. And our favorite was the fantastic fries!

The food here was delicious! So glad we found it. Always a winner when everyone in the family eats and is happy!! Our family had the French dip, minestrone soup, lasagna, turkey eggs Benedict and lemon blueberry cake..... everything was amazing!!!

Busy but outstanding service and food. We ordered the Western Omelette and a scramble (joe's?), with fresh squeezed orange juice, and their big chocolate chip cookie (not pictured- to go). All the food was fresh and tasty. OUTSTANDING service from our waitress, who seemed like an elderly woman but did not get her name =( Dog-friendly: we brought our 80lb+ dog with us and it was no problem; were seated outside. Highly recommend.

First time here this past weekend. We were promptly greeted by 2 hosts. Outside were reserved for other guests. The manager was kind, willing able to accommodate my fur baby 🐶 , my friend and I inside at a table near an open door. Everything was scrumptious! Salad, Lasagna, oreo cheesecake is to die for! 😋 will come again!

Really cute cafe! The minestrone was pretty tasty and had a sweet tang to it. The lasagna is good but huge for one person - I recommend sharing it! We didn’t have to wait at all for our late dinner 8/9pm.

The service here is friendly, they greet you when you come and go. They will also ask your preference before seating you, which is kind of rare these days. The food come in great portions that we didn’t need out lunch that day. I got the western if I remembered correctly. The omelette is well made and full of ham and spinach. The toasted English muffin is crispy and good with different jams offered.

I’ve been coming to Monterey for events for the last decade and Rosine’s has been a staple of every single trip. Their calamari fries and steak are the best calamari I’ve ever had. I cannot say enough great things about them. If you like calamari but have only ever had them in rings, you’re missing out. They’re so freaking good. For entrees, everyone loved what they had. The chicken parm is my go-to and it’s so delicious. They do Alfredo on the pasta but marinara on the chicken and it’s so good. You’ll be glad you ate here.

Food was not quite what we expected. Could be our southern taste was out of it’s regional expectations. ?? Service was fast and atmosphere was pleasant. Staff actually appeared happy to be there serving guest!! We were excited about desserts……. But they were in short supply.

We made reservations for dinner a day prior, but when we arrived, we had to wait another 10 minutes because they were jam-packed, which we were fine with. The hostess apologized for the wait and seated us as soon as possible. Our server, Hector, was excellent and friendly. He got our drink order in immediately and gave us some suggestions on dishes. I went with the Chicken Parmesan, which is DELICIOUS, and my friend went with the Black and Bleu Steak Sandwich, which they thought was suitable but still preferred to eat off my plate. Their spicy margarita was okay, nothing that stood out. Unfortunately, we were both too full to try their famous desserts, so I would return for dinner to try their other specialty plates and desserts.

I chose Rosine's for my birthday dinner celebration, and it turned out to be an outstanding experience. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. What really stood out was the portion sizes – they were generous, so be sure to save room for dessert, as Rosine's undeniably boasts the best desserts in town. As a self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur, I sampled both their pumpkin cheesecake and Oreo cheesecake (cheesecakes are a personal favorite of mine), and they far exceeded my expectations. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Rosine's. It's a gem that's definitely worth returning to

Nice restaurant and beautifully decorated this time of the year! 🎄 We tried the mimosa which was good. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken wings which were delicious 😋 Must try item here. My partner tried the pesto chicken sandwich 🥪 and it was good too. I ordered the chicken salad with honey chicken. A bit disappointing as the chicken was too crispy almost hard. Also chicken wasn’t coated in any sauce which I had hoped. We didn’t try any desserts but they had lot of cakes at the counter. We did end up ordering more than our appetite and the check in the end was a lot. The service was good, friendly waitresses.

What a perfect stay for lunch. Our waiter was soooo cool and kind and funny. We had a blast. The food was absolutely delicious! Just make sure to grab some food there.

A place with a very pleasant atmosphere. Fast and friendly service, despite the fact that I ordered the meat extra-very-well-done, which probably offended both the chef and the waiter. However, the end product was really delicious and juicy. Thank you for that 😁👍

Breakfast here is an absolute must! I strongly recommend the breakfast sandwich or the chicken fried steak. It's a toss up between them for one of the best breakfast meals you can have at a total reasonable price. Normally I would describe the food but the attached pictures will do the talking for me lol.

So this place really really deserves 5 stars for the food alone but I had to give it 4 because of the hostess (Addison). My cousin and her 5 year old daughter and myself came in and there was no rush or anything and the look that this hostess gave my cousins daughter was pure disgust. She genuinely made us feel like “ugh you brought a child in here?”. She didn’t acknowledge us at all with a hello, a head nod, a how are you, or a follow me this way at all! We felt extremely unwelcome but we were starving so we continued with the visit. The food was impeccable! Chefs kiss!! For appetizers we had loaded potato skins and they were very tasty! I got the honey crisp salad and it was fully loaded with so much freshness! Such a huge portion! So good! My cousin got the blackened salmon burger with sweet potato fries and the crisp on the fries was AMAZING. The salmon was so melt in your mouth and paired really really well the sauce they slather the bun with! She’s pregnant and the portions were so huge she couldn’t finish but definitely took the rest home. Her daughter got the Mickey Mouse pancakes and she loved it. The atmosphere was so festive I felt like in Christmas movie fancy restaurant. As the visit went on our waitress Katie was amazing!! She was so attentive and friendly! We loved her. She deserves a raise! I will be back for the food for sure, I just hope Addison gets some better training on being the first interaction people get when walking into the establishment. Also for our full 3 meals and 1 appetizer and 1 soft drink and 1 hot coco, the bill was $75. The prices were not too bad at all! 😁

Great food here! We started with some clam chowder and honestly it was the best we've ever had! Then came our entrees and I can't even begin to describe how delicious everything was. I had the lasagne and yes, it was the best I've ever had. We also had the chicken parmesan and seafood pasta. All three of us weren't able to finish our meals. Be sure to come with a big appetite!

Had Blackened Chicken, and tha famous Lasagne, , dessert had a samll and could finish.. everything as great. Would go back. Oh Minestrone soup which I don't normally like..was fantastic, chicken Verdi soup was excellent.

Great service. Everyone is kind and happy to give suggestions! Our server Katie was a sweetheart! Food was also quick! I think the food could be a little pricey but it's not too bad for special occasions! :) Definitely recommend it! I got the chili egg puff it was unique, kinda reminded me of a jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese 😋 Also, cool that Guy Fieri has been here!! :D

Was seated immediately with our service dog at a centrally located table. Service was exceptional, prompt and courteous. Everything was flawless. The crab, avocado poached egg brunch special was off the hook delicious. Also, a very tasty egg puff and sausage plate. Had fresh hot coffee, latte, and a White Russian with cinnamon on the rim. Highly recommend this spot.

We were in Monterey and a friend recommended Rosine's. We had an excellent breakfast. The food was delicious, service was super friendly, and it was a convenient walk from our hotel. We ended up ordering all savory dishes and shared amongst our group of three. The steak in the Benedict was cooked perfectly medium. The chicken fried steak was crispy and the gravy was yummy. The savory pancakes were such a nice surprise. Adding a little honey butter and syrup just complemented the bacon so well. We were stuffed but couldn't resist the case of cakes. We actually stopped in the previous night after dinner and got a slice of key lime and mango pie but we devoured it before I could take a picture. The strawberry pie could have used a bit more strawberry in the filling, but the cake was light and the whipped cream filling and icing were just the right amount of light sweetness.

Perfect stop to grab brunch before heading for 17 mile drive. Loved the Benedict and garlic fries. All the dishes were great. It was a beautiful restaurant, looked pretty popular amongst locals. We had to wait for 10-15 minutes, but it was worth it. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Kid friendly location with both tables and booths. Warm staff. A large variety of food items to choose from. Tried the patty melt with added grilled onions and it was pretty good. Fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I'd like to go back and try their chocolate cake.

Our son had the Family Burger and he really liked the burger, he said one the best burger he has had, he is 10. My wife had the Turkey and avocado Benedict, poached eggs were slightly overcooked. I had the crab and avocado Benedict, plenty of crab!! My eggs were cooked to perfection, no complaints here. The potatoes and fresh fruit were all great sides. The service was excellent as well. We would definitely return next time we are in Monterey.

Service was perfect, fast but very attentive. Food was delicious. We have been there for breakfast and had Eggs Benedict, mine one Southwestern style added by chicken breast and green chilies. Homemade hollandaise sauce is amazing, so good. If you get the chance it's worth a visit. I will come back.

It was a busy lunch hour on the July 4 weekend. With many visitors in the area. However, the waitress was friendly and engaging with customers. There was a little wait time due to the crowd. Food was good. For lunch, menue has varieties of salad, sandwich, burger. Portion size was decent. Especially, the honey mustard was super good. We asked for huge extra serving.

We had a lovely lunch here on our weekend trip here. The food was beyond amazing, tasty and fresh. We had California chicken sandwich, chips with artichoke dip ( even the chips were crisp and warm) and mushroom omelette. We were so impressed with the food that we ended up eating here the next day as well and we tried their carrot cake, which was also amazing.

Great service. And really Huge food potions! Keep in mind DO NOT order too much! Foods taste really great! And this picture is the half order BBQ rib which I have left over when I am done with my lunch. Love this place!

Can't say enough good things about this establishment! Fantastic food, great service, good location, nice environment. Only suggestion for the restaurant would be to find an effective method of cutting down on flies (maybe not keep the front door open all day), and maybe cook the the Canadian ham a little more on the eggs Benedict. The club sandwich was to die for. Wish we could have finished it. Huge portions. Unfortunately we weren't able to take leftovers to go. Mariah provided phenomenal service. Thank you kindly!

We were looking for a nice place for a late Sunday brunch before heading home after a beautiful weekend getaway and happened upon this charming place. They seated us right away. The food, beverages and service were all outstanding. The prices were good. We definitely want to return upon the next visit to Monterey.

Completely raw! Manager Omar could only offer to take the burger off the tab and offer dessert. Showed no remorse, keep in mind I’m 9months pregnant and ordered it “well done”. Only good thing about this place was out waiter Katie, she was the best! Manager and restaurant on the other hand are no good. Quality is not there.
