Pizza by the slice or whole. Slices only come in cheese, pepperoni or combo. Pretty small but decent for $3 Crust is thin and tastes like garlic breadsticks. Only three tables to dine in. Guys who worked on 10/03/21 were very nice

First time trying the pizza from Pelican Pizza and we were impressed. We just ordered a simple cheese pizza but it was cooked to our liking with just the right amount of cheese and their dough / crust was really soft and tasty! They had our pizza ready for us 10 minutes too! When I arrived to pick up the pizza I was also impressed with their friendly staff and their sign on the front stating that they offered free home delivery. The only downside was the 75 cent charge per ranch they hit me with. But all and all it was solid experience for a local pizza joint

Hi Visited with family the Pelican on 9th July late evening after watching sunset at 17 Mile drive. The owner received us warmly and we ordered vegetarian pizza. He politely requested us to wait for 15 minutes. We were treated to a freshly made pizza and it was top class. It was hot, spicy and smooth. The crust of the pizza was incredibly smooth. And it was perfect for our Indian taste buds as we relished hot, spicy and tasty pizza.

The pizza crust is thin and the cheese is gooey. This is the best "New York" style pizza in Monterey. Its affordable and I consistently get quick friendly service here. This place is my go-to.

If you are planning for a “beige” day or a “boring” night, then do not go here. If you want to give your taste buds an all expenses paid vacation, then pick up the phone and call Pelican. We tried them all so you don’t need to. This is the best pizza in Monterey. When we first moved here, we went “pizza hopping” each week. After a few months we found pelican pizza and have never turned back. I can’t eat at other pizza restaurants anymore. Plus, they deliver. Pelican pizza is next level. Also, I met the owner one time I went in (usually I get delivery). Owner is an extremely hardworking veteran, who loves giving back to this country. Thank you for service, Sir!

Great pizza and excellent customer service. I would rather buy 10 pizzas from Pelican than 1 pizza from round table or domino's regardless of cost. Their customer service and quality beat the big pizza chains. Their staff is polite and helpful with great food. It's a local business and makes awesome food.

I wish I could give this zero stars, I’ve never left a review before but as we speak my friend is apologizing I spent money on it. I have never had worse pizza than this. Wherever you went to middle school has better pizza than this, please never go here. Before we received it we mentioned buying it at the nearby goodwill and they all immediately said ooooooph. Wow it’s so bad

The best pizza in Monterey the owner has been making pizza's for over 30 years and he is so friendly. My Wife and I told him we actually come to Monterey for the scenery and his pizza and he was happy to hear that. I highly recommend everyone stop by and try it for yourself and I guarantee you will be glad you did and not only does the pizza taste amazing the prices are very affordable. You will leave with your appetite satisfied and your wallet will be full as well. I also enjoy supporting small business owners who support their families with the income they make from the community that they love to serve and genuinely care about like the owner of Pelican Pizza.

best damn pizza i’ve had in my life, upstanding customer service as well as amazingly great food. never thought of traveling from fresno to monterey just for food but this is definitely worth that drive alone. big thanks to the nice veteran man who helped me out today.

I don’t know how to spell his name but Keef is the man! He was taking phone orders, going back to make pizzas, serving food & had a great attitude the whole time. If I remember correctly he’s also a Veteran. Everyone from the bases around here should stop by and enjoy a warm relaxed atmosphere within walking distance to the beach. And yes, the pizza is great too.

Best pizza I have ever had! 10/10 would recommend. The pizza dough is delicious, the sauce is delicious. The whole thing is delicious. I will be dreaming about this pizza until I can eat it again. We also got breadsticks and they were excellent as well. Great place to eat!

Pizza was good wasn't blow my socks off great. Probably could have had compatible pizza with a lesser price but area of pizza is overly expensive for no reason. This is the best pizza for the best price. Done from scratch the sauce is missing a ingredient and they cook it perfect so the sauce is what's the bummer but for the price it's good. Service was great

The best pizza in Monterey and all the staff are really good people. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars. It's also very cheap for how good it is and with it being on lighthouse. They sell 2 slices for $3.50 you can't beat that. I come here once a week!

Visiting from the Bay and tried this awful place. Paid over $100 for some pizza and get no ranch or would need to buy 25+ ranch @1$ea… and only couple cheese packets? Giving me issues paying cuz he had to check my ID? Never needed my ID to use my own money lmao. He said “don’t want people to steal your money” I then replied “your trying to steal money with your scams” This guy is absolutely pathetic. Get home and the Pizza were put together so poorly with the “ordered” 50/50 pizzas being more like 85/15. Skip this and go to Gianna’s next time.

Excellent! Chocolate chip cookies are perfect. We had a pepperoni pizza and a gluten free pizza. Both were very good. So many topping options. Definitely recommend!

We ordered a XL pizza with 4 toppings. It's fresh and tasty. You can see them making the pizza. Inside of the shop is very small but feels warm and cozy. My youngest son said this is the best Pizza he ever tasted. We will definitely come back in the future.

Pretty simple, basic pizza. Nothing fancy, but if you are hungry late at night it's a nice spot to stop to grab a pizza real quick. They were very fast too.

Gentleman in the Army cap and his wife were very nice. Pizza is solid. Thin, crunchy crust with not too much sauce. Hot wings are great; sauce tastes like a combo of buffalo and bbq. Took less than 10 minutes for an 8 piece and two slices.

Customer service was great. Pizza was great. Chocolate cake is AMAZING. It's worth a try!
