Gyro Plate was okay but wrap it shawarma was not upto the mark. Pita didn’t feel fresh and soft. If you’re getting anything here, add tahini to it, else it will be bland. Staff were not clear in explaining the stuff, only three toppings were included and others were extra charge. It would have been better if it was all inclusive for the price. Restaurant ambience was good, clean and well decorated.

We went there hoping it would be decent, the Demetra in Carmel is. Service was cold and so was the food. Bland, boring and cold. Add in some overcooked mushy rice for good fun. Not worth the calories. I don't normally complain at restaurants but this time I did and got a refund. Pass on this place

It's been sad seeing Dametra decline in quality in the last 4 years. I think this is the last time I'm going back. You can't order olives because I suspect they but the cheapest and some of them have fragments of pits. Two times I've bitten into pits there, luckily with no damage. The flavor of the meat is off and the portions are small. I'd rather they raise the price and not skimp on quality. Maybe, maybe one day they turn it around, but I'm not hopeful.

All the times have been here but food tastes really fresh. I like I can make my meal gluten free and low carbs. I like they're different sauces. They have a few different choices, salad choices, and my all-time favorite spanakopita. Always a good meal when I come here

The chicken kabob was very little portions, so dry and has no taste of kabob. Falafel wasn’t fresh at all. It was hard to swallow the food. The salads are ok but nothing near great. Worst Mediterranean food I ever tried and so pricy

First time trying Mediterranean food. Staff supper friendly and made it simple for me to order. Food was great. Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped by with my family for dinner before heading to the movies. For those who haven't been by before it's like heading to Subway but with Mediterranean food. The person who made my wrap knew that I couldn't decide what to put in the wrap so she decided for me. Despite her choosing for me, she still checked in with me making sure that I could handle certain ingredients. The wrap was great and you can tell how fresh the ingredients were. Though when I opened the foil my wrap was stuck to it and it got ripped open. My lil sister loved her platter as this was her first time trying out this place. The place is rather small so not much indoor seating if you come with a group bigger than four since there was only two tables to fit groups of four. It was a clean and tidy atmosphere that was welcoming as you walked in the door.

The food was great but the atmosphere was amazing. They were playing music with instruments all around the restaurant and encouraged everyone to dance. So much fun

We recently used Demetra Fresh Mediterranean Restaurant for our daughter's wedding. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Nadeem was so kind and professional. He made it very easy to decide on what would work for our catering needs. The food was so delicious. The gyros, dolmas, the hummus, all of the dips and the kabobs and pita bread were absolutely scrumptious. The portions were large and the meat was so tender. We all enjoyed it as left overs as well. I would definitely recommend Demetra's for your catering and dining . Nadeem delivered our food on time and was so hospitable , he was kind and easy to talk to.He took away the stress of this special event and that is priceless!!!🤗

The second worst Mediterranean I had so far, Chicken Shawarma was in the hot pan and it tasted stale and reheated. Sauces are not nice I doubt hummus is made from scratch here. It tasted wholesale supply one. Falafels were ok.

Just wow!!!! The chicken across the board was amazing!!! Across different meals, the quality stayed the same in deliciousness. The sauces help make a difference, as you have plenty of options to choose from. Simply put, there is something on the menu for everyone in your party or family. The inside atmosphere is pleasant and nice, with subtle wall decor and a quick service line to get your food; get to see it made right in front of you:) Great location and just a top quality place to get your Shwarma on! Love the name as well…the blend of Damascus and Petra…brilliant!

A typical Mediterranean fast food near the Del Monte shopping center. 3 tables inside and few outside in the sun. They have the wrap or the plate version that can be serve with a protein of your choice rice and sides such as Hummus baba ganoush etc. I took the chicken shish Kabab which was pre-cooked, not sure how long before - that is why only 4 starts.

My wife and I really like their falafel wraps but not only did their prices go up, now you are only limited to 3 toppings and any extra are extra charges. For sakes, you are getting a wrap it should include all toppings. It's like buying a sandwhich and charging extra for the bread. And for that alone I am giving it one stars

Food used to be really good. Went today and wrap fell apart, almost all the gyro meat was burned and hard. Spent almost $20 for burned meat.

Highly recommended. After being repeatedly ignored by those snobs at the Cal. Pizza Kitchen, I stumbled onto this little place and was so glad for my new discovery. Yes, the food is premade and might have sat a while, but the quality is still good. I ordered the lamb with the rice, grape rolls, and spinach pie. Oh my, that pie was good! Lamb was a bit dry but next time if I come early enough, it should be much better. Really good value for money.

Fast casual Mediterranean with wrap, salads and rice plates. The usual meat options (gyros, chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, kefta kebab). The large selection of sauces sets them apart from the competition.

Excellent food, good prices and clean. I was greeted by both friendly Michael and Marisale. I travel the whole west coast for work and appreciate a good food find when I come across them and this is on my favorite list. Surrounding area is beautiful as well.

This used to be my go to spot. I would come here at least once a week. Sadly the customer service along with the quality of food has steadily declined while the prices continue to go up. Disappointing to say the least

Generous portion, I had a falafel wrap. The tzatziki sauce is yummy but so is the garlic sauce if you're not worried about it staying with you afterward.

Sa so SAD… spoke to Michael today who boasted how well he knows his catering menu and refused to make 30 gyros sandwiches today, willing to spend over $300 dollars on catering but must call another place because he was so RUDE - enjoyed saying No to me at every opportunity. So sad because the owners are a nice family - oh well, I tried. CLEARLY NOT a first choice for gyros.

Literally one of the happiest set of people. They all were in the best of spirits and you can tell they really love working with each other. The food is good and the proportions are on point. Thanks for the experience!

We came here to try the food since they offer catering services. I'll just say my fiance and I plan on having them cater our wedding. Very generous portions and overall solid food. We tried all the sauces and they were spot on. The Gyro was massive to say the least and the chicken shawarma was incredibly tender and loaded with flavor. Thank you for the great service and I can't wait to have it again in July!

After a heavy workout I need to eat healthy and this is the place to go. I order a toss it with the gyro meat I add all the vegetables God I love those, the two sauces which the girls will help you with there wonderful customer service and I eat that whole thing and I'm good for the evening. They have coffee they have wines they have baklava they're really on point with sweet or savory.

The place was unexpectedly fun and lively, with great live music. The staff made everyone feel welcome, the service was friendly and the food was great! There was only place that was open late!
