Drinks are great but baristas could’ve been friendlier. They weren’t calling out mobile order names. I don’t know if policy changed on that? But they should at least be looking out for customers who are just standing there so they can get their drinks.

Normal Starbucks but very annoyingly it kept off all the power cords so you're welcome to come spend your money but you can't do any work because your battery is low you're screwed. Maybe it's just me the basic amenities like a bathroom and maybe a power port would be nice. I guess I shouldn't complain at least they have toilets.

Ordered the smallest quickest thing and watched as customers that came in after me got their bigger orders while I waited 15 minutes after reminding them about my order just for a tall drink. I gotta go to work but my God never this spot again. I wanna take my tip back too.

The workers are all new barely know anything and they take forever to make your drink. They do not fill your drink if you order no ice even though I paid extra for it.

I just went in to get a Refill Coffee the staff is young very few customers at 11:00 am staff cleaning equipment not very friendly all the comfortable lounge chairs removed all wooden chairs to make sure you don't wanna squat their forever.lol. Is ok geared for the Tourists mostly being in downtown Monterey.

Usual Starbucks awesomeness, but contrary to what it says here, there is no drive through service.

Went yesterday, Wednesday, and the girl who took my order tipped herself $5. Normally they show you the tip screen before you pay -well this time she didn't do that and told me my total was $9 so I just held my phone close to the machine to pay, didn't touch it, and I see the receipt printing said I paid $14. Check your receipts.

First of all, let me say: I still miss Bay Books. This Starbucks taking its place still leaves a hole in my heart. Sentimental feelings aside, the stuff here is like any other location, so it's comforting. Outdoor seating is nice until some homeless guy thinks it's nice to smoke their cancer stick, and give us all second-hand smoke. Just keep SUCKING ON THAT CANCER STICK! KEEP SUCKING IT! Things that Starbucks can't control aside, because Monterey PD also doesn't want to deal with, Starbucks' WiFi is ok, but the connection craps out on you after 20 minutes, then every 5 minutes after that.

Mon. Morning and unfortunately, they were a bit low on breakfast bits, but friendly service helped for an enjoyable interaction.

we are waitting one houre for two coffee, the staff was really bad and agressif.

Employees are unaware of each other. A young lady took my order, after 20 minutes I got one of my coffee order ready but not exact size and milk. I asked my second coffee order they even did not know my order. I showed them my receipt. They are massing up, I will not take that place again.

Obviously a very busy place, no real complaints about the service or anything. However, there are signs everywhere for mobile ordering except the app doesn't seem to recognize the location so I couldn't order ahead. Bathrooms are coded entry but the codes are just taped up. Whatever purpose the coded doors are intended to serve seems inconsequential.

I don't drink coffee. My girlfriend does. 3/4 of their beverages have whipped cream. This place had no effect. She was pizzed off!!! They said nothing at time order was placed. Only at delivery. Let your patrons know before they plunk down their cash

I was visiting my daughter in Monterey and we went to the Starbucks and it was very pleasant they had live music across the street, we sat outside it was very enjoyable.

Loved the coffee! Well maintained and the staff was courteous!

Seriously? I ordered my coffee and when I got home it felt kinda light… it’s cause half is missing! Not cool Starbucks.
