My dad had a major stroke with a massive brain bleed the outcome isn't good he will pass. The surgeon was so cold, when moved to comfort care heart6 charge nurses Karen and Toni had the worst people skills I've ever come in contact with as a family member with a dying father. Karen especially treated our family with the most disgusting I don't care about you our your situation attitude. Being stuck here through this trauma is heart breaking. Please think twice before choosing this hospital for your loved one, unless of course your well know with the staff you won't be treated with compassion and respect from in charge staff members.

I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Some of the nursing staff are very rude and treat their patients with no respect. If u have a choice to have any procedures done at another hospital or at this hospital I would highly recommend that you choose any other hospital and stay away from this one. When a patient is trying to get well and recover from an illness or medical procedure they want to do so without any stress and I promise you if you choose this hospital you will not .

Worst hospital experience ever! 12 hour wait in the ER. All areas of the hospital that I saw was dirty. No toilet paper in 2 different ladies restrooms. No fitted sheets on beds, just a folded sheet which fell off the moment you lay on the bed. The only reason I gave any stars at all was because the ER doctor was awesome (Dr Marsh) and nurse caring for me in the actual ER (wish I got her name.) If possible I will never return to this hospital!

I waited on the waiting room for 3 1/2 hours with a hole in my knee and a piece of metal I'm my leg and was never seen several other people were pretty hurt And yet they were never seen I was sent from another hospital to get this taken out of my leg before I got a infection we asked them if we could get something for my pain and they said no they wanted me to wait for hours I'm the waiting room without eating or drinking anything so now I have to find another hospital to go to this hospital was the most awful experience I have ever had at a hospital will never go back neither will my kids or my family!!!!! Straight trash patient care

I am currently sitting in the ER since 2pm and it's currently,8:14 and still have not seen a doctor. I am more concerned about another patient who was here before me, since 10AM and she was visibly shaking and when the male nurse came with a wheelchair, he told her that she wasn't shaking until he got there. That's not true, my wife went and prayed with the patient and there were other ladies that joined in because she was clearly in distress. I am appalled by the smart attitude of the nurses in this ER. Several patients witnessed this situation. Don't be surprised if you get more complaints. Today is 3/14/23 and currently 8:23 pm .I will spread this incident like wildfire. This is the healthcare system our children have to look forward to. This place is a HIPPA violation waiting to happen. I gave you one star because that's the only way I could write this review. Not impressed, more concerned than anything else, I worked in the medical for 35yrs and know HIPPA very well. Shame on this hospital.

Went to the ER for abdominal pain late at night at the end of January. Had to leave after 5 hours of waiting. Spilled urine cups on the table. Another woman told the nurses and it was never cleaned up. Filthy floors. Surrounded by passed out drug addicts who had better care. When my husband and I asked about the wait time the male nurse was extremely rude. The only active workers were the security guards. The “nurses” ordered blood work but no scans. Went to an urgent care clinic after giving up and they immediately ordered scans. I was treated like a human being!! I hope To God I never have to come here again! A sick person should never feel bad about being sick!!! My coworker had a seizure and was taken by ambulance. She was considered high priority but had to leave after waiting 6 hours! Shame on you!! My husband has rectal surgery soon and I’m disgusted and terrified that he has to come here. This is a horrible hospital that doesn’t care about it’s patients!

The hospital did a decent job delivering my son however their associated pediatricians are HORRIBLE, we have been searching for a pediatrician for a month, yes my son is a month old and hasn't been able to have his first check up because none of them are accepting new patients or patients with more than 1 child or patients who have more than 1 child that aren't of the same gender so on and so forth. Needless to say I would save yourself some very frustrating heartache and not even bother with this place because when you call and plead with them they are rude 90 percent of the time and very unprofessional. If I could give negative stars I would give as many as possible. Turned our joyous moment into a complete nightmare!

Dr. Shakespeare and Dr. Eastman treated me like some Guinea pig for 18 days when they knew they couldn't treat my condition. Disgusting to do to someone who's only 24. They even made me sign out AMA because they couldn't let their ego go and let a specialist treat me better. I hope it's never them in this position because what goes around comes around, trash people. Would NEVER recommend anyone here.

I was pretty upset earlier today because of the five-day wait for the procedure… But Dr. Grupke and his amazing team worked for six hours on my 80-year-old Dad’s broken neck, and he’s alive, he’s not paralyzed, and he’s been given hope for a quality of life he didn’t have even before his fall. I’m extremely grateful for the skill and preparation of those who have given the husband back to his wife of forty-three years, the dad back to seven children, the grandpa back to seventeen grandchildren, and the friend back to too many people to count. Thank you, Covenant, for the expertise of so many, and for helping to save my father.

The only reason they get a 2 instead of a 1 is the caring attitude of the front line care staff. Not having the equipment to provide care to patients is unacceptable. Putting people on bedpans because staff are unable to transfer them to a bedside commode or a toilet is inhumane. Front line staff do what they can with what they have to work with but building new buildings when patient care equipment is lacking is irresponsible.

Not a good place. My wife is anemic and they argued with her to give her blood thinners. Also they came in and took the chair out of her room while she had stuff on it leaving it all on the floor. Also the gave her a bed that has a giant hard lump in it. Also the drain in her bathroom backed up and they brought maintenance in there while she was just in a gown they ran a giant industial snake down while she was still in there. Go here and watch out they may kill you.

Received call day before outpatient surgery discussed insurance information, demographics and etc. Upon arrival had to wait because admissions clerk had to put on her makeup first. It took her 45 minutes to complete admission which was suppose be completed the during phone call the day before surgery. We arrived at 0540 was assisted to 2nd floor and 0630. Needless to say all the information in the system was wrong. The unit clerk and the lab tech was so rude and e rrogant. I found Covenant was violating HIPPA in admission and pointed it out. Our privacy and every other patients was violated. I can tell you about the person, employment, PCP, address. No one in our family was aware of the Cancer diagnosis, until the patient across at other desk overheard the questions that was being asked and informed a family member that my mother was at Covenant. Poor cusotmer service from start to finish. By the way information provided to Covenant no matter where you are located should be correct and update at each facility

I had surgery with dr scraton top notch then moved to icu and all the nurses are so good at what they do. My physical therapist from Minnesota she lives in lubbock now was fantastic. Everyone who took care of me was so good and they work so hard. Thanks everyone

Well taken care of. Great Nursing Staff. Renee on 8th floor was AWESOME Had her for 4 out of 5 days I was there. Great Nurse. Satchel was so compassionate and I appreciated all my nurses. Honey, Meryl, Megan, Hope. There were more but all did great. The Doctors we're personable and informative and kept me updated, and checked on me often.

Gonna skip over the terrible newborn and lactation education. Going right to the 2 different ER doctors who admitted a 25 year old with postpartum heart failure to an Obstetrician on the L&D floor with no cardiac monitoring! Multiple medical oversights were committed, and are documented in her medical records. Needless to say, the Cardiologist didn’t even see her until 20 hours after admission. He should have seen her within 4-6, her Echo numbers and lab values were that bad. Correct drug therapy was badly delayed. Better care is expected from a tertiary care center. This treatment will be brought to the attention of the appropriate agency.

If you ever have to go to the ER hope that you get Dr. Johnson there. He is the kindest Dr. I have seen in a very long time. He was very thoughtful, thorough and took his time to check everything out. I gave him 5 stars because he deserved 10.

This was a pleasant surprise. Our experience was excellent. Everyone we had contact with was professional and showed an obvious concern for your care. Our Surgeon Dr. Sadani was extremely knowledgeable and also had a genuine concern for our care. It is obvious that this hospital has had the same issues other facilities have had in finding and hiring enough qualified staff to fulfill all the jobs needing to be done. None the less the staff that was there got after it and got the job done. I was blessed in our experience and highly recommend to anyone having cancer surgery.

I have received excellent care here from the Nurses, Nurses Aids, Nurse Leaders and all the Doctors and Anesthesiologists on my case. Even the food here is good and that comes from someone whose diet is restrictive. I was very fortunate to be transferred here from Pampa for my care and praise God for that and of course the ER staff at Pampa regional for finding a hospital with an ENT. I am sending everyone a big hug for easing my fears and treating me so well.

I was disappointed with the majority of the staff, especially the ones in charge. It was a weekend, and I understand that there is a limited number of executive staff to handle the out process of a patient, but I don't think that they care about it, as long as they get their paycheck it's all fine. There were a few issues about my stay and release after surgery. Good thing my daughter is a 23-year nurse who called the main administration about my situation. I hope they can get better help and staff.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hospital ER. The doctor was rude, would not listen and sent my husband home in worse condition than when he arrived at the hospital in the ambulance. When I told him the doctor who sent my husband by ambulance said he would be able to see a specialist as soon as he got to Lubbock, the ER doctor told me that he doesn’t have to abide by what referring doctors tell us. I found my husband standing on the curb in a hospital gown waiting for me to pick him up. They had him walk out of the ER, through the waiting room wearing only that hospital gown. He was in pain and had blood running down his legs.

The emergency receptionist was rude at check in for my mom! She was doing too many neck, head, and hand gestures while talking to us like she had an issue with us as soon as we walked in the door 10:00am shift. The rest of the staff was ok.

So we made a trip to Covenant to visit my mother-in-law and got to the room she was in and low and behold, she is not in the room. We walk over to the front desk and we are told that she was discharged at 12:30pm and no one from Covenant bothered to call us to let us know. CovenantHospital is not the place to go for care.

My mom is in MICU on the 5th floor. When I walked on the floor I could hear screaming. Only to find out that a nurse was in my 82 years old mom's face screaming at her. All the while the charge nurse Jeremy did NOTHING.

They do not even deserve 1 star! Went there in an ambulance following a head on collision with a semi truck. They logged me in under the wrong name, did not bother to assess my head injury, did not bother to clean up cuts on my feet and legs and then had no problems sending me walking barefoot through the parking lot on discharge! Other than the radiology tech they were pretty rude and uncaring altogether!

My husband has been in SICU for 10 days, our nurses have been amazing!!!! They took exceptional care of him and were beyond polite to me. However the cleanliness of the hospital as a whole saddened me. Our ICU room floor was wiped over but never cleaned, the restroom was never touched!! The toilet was filthy from splash back when the nurses dumped and housekeeping never once cleaned it. I ask for wipes and the nurses offered disinfectant ones and apologized for not having time to clean it. The waiting room trash and restrooms on 2 floor were so gross!!
