    I’ve been a member of lots of gyms over many years but JWC is completely different to all of them. Joining this gym has been the best decision I have made for a long time. The coaches are all fantastic - so encouraging and motivating and the classes are always different, so nothing ever gets stale. It has helped me physically but also has had a huge impact on me mentally - getting out to the gym always makes me feel happy no matter what! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and I always leave with a big smile on my face. Thank you x

    Great gym - I have spent years going to a personal trainer as I don’t have the motivation or desire to go to a normal gym. The rising costs of PT sessions made me look for an alternative. JWC haas given me just that - at a fraction of the cost. For the price of 1.5 PT sessions I get a month of limitless classes that are structured in a similar way to personal training - just with a few more people. They offer a variety of classes each day with lovely, knowledgeable trainers and timings that suit everyone.

    Working out has never been so much fun! I can honestly say that I would have never got up at 5.35am 4/5 mornings a week to go to the gym BUT I do and I love it! The coaches are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The classes are varied and challenging (in a good way!). Group classes mean I don’t have to “plan” my workout as the coaches do it for you, rotating the focus on strength days and a good mix of stations on the HIIT classes. Everyone fits in, it doesn’t matter what age, shape or fitness level you are at - ALL are welcome! “JWC time” is my “switch off time” so well needed in between work and children. Wouldn’t go anywhere else! ✨🌟💫

    This is not a conventional gym, where you train alone, spend money on membership and then don’t go enough times to make it worthwhile or make a difference to your fitness. JWC is the most motivating gym I have ever been a member of. Group training sessions which are really easy to book and loads of fun. The coaches are brilliant, they set varied classes and make sure you work correctly, to get the best results and avoid injury. Loads of friendly people - you never feel self conscious, doesn’t matter what size and fitness level you are. I joined with the intention of going min 2 x a week. I do at least 4 classes most weeks and never feel like it’s a struggle to get motivated!! There are loads of time slots for sessions that you book via their app. After having an in body analysis and getting dietary advice from the team, I’ve had great results and feel healthier than I have for years!! Thank you JWC team!

    Amazing team and gym! Special thanks to Lewis for all the support and motivation since I started. I joined in 2021 and initially when I started having the 1:1 personal training sessions I didn’t think I’d ever be able to keep up a class or group setting but he is amazing at building your confidence and pushing you to try that bit harder or go a bit heavier! Absolutely love the group sessions now and can’t thank Lewis enough for the support to get to this point

    First time i stepped into a gym since 2015 and since joining JWC in July Hannah has worked with me to understanding my body, set goals and has pushed me to achieve them through our PT sessions together. I am currently fitter and stronger than I have been before, and weigh less than I did in 2017 which I didn't believe was possible. Thank you to Hannah and the team.

    JWC simply beats other gyms hands down! I've always been reluctant to do exercise but know it is essential to staying healthy. The trainers are fantastic and ensure you feel included and welcome. The routines are varied and avoid boredom creeping in and there is no end of encouragement from both the trainers and fellow members. The PT sessions are outstanding. I start each week with a PT session with Lewis, tailored to how I am feeling and taking account of any aches and pains. It really sets me up for taking on the week's challenges including attending further group sessions. I would highly recommend joining this gym and signing up for some PT sessions!

    I chose the five week program as i was clueless about the Gym and needed a kick start to tone my body and lose weight. Hannah would push me with each session, knowing my limits but also when I could be pushed to achieve more, getting the best out of every session. Hannah not only genuinely cared about our gym sessions but also helped me with nutrition; helping me to achieve my goals long term. I couldn’t recommend the five week session more! Hannah has helped changed my mindset on fitness; I am fitter than I have ever been, my shape has changed and I feel valued as a member and customer!

    JWC is a fantastic friendly gym. Lewis is my PT and he is absolutely brilliant and very hardworking. He encourages me at every session and pushes me hard to achieve my goals. I was always put off going to a gym but JWC and all the staff are so warm and friendly and would highly recommend Lewis to all my friends.

    After joining and leaving JWC a handful of times, this time has definitely felt different for me. I re-joined a while back and decided that after having a lower back injury I would look into a PT to help with my strength training and I’ve never looked back. I started with Hannah in June 2023 and since then my lower back has never been better. I can’t even begin to say how much I love training with Hannah, she pushes me more than I’ve ever pushed myself before, I’m lifting heavier than I’d ever expect and she listens to my goals and works on a plan to get me there. JWC is one big family and with the encouragement of all the trainers I’m now the fittest I’ve ever been and feel so much more confident in myself. Hannah not only pushes me in my PT’s but makes sure that I stay on top of my nutrition and extra gym sessions that I do through JWC.

    Started at JWC in March for couple PT sessions with Sally, in preparation for our wedding in June - it’s now November and we are still going! Training with Sally is the best thing we’ve done for our health and fitness. She’s knowledgeable and really understands our fitness goals. Despite the difference in strength and fitness between my now husband and I, Sally always manages to make our sessions fun and varied so that we both feel pushed and constantly challenged. I’ve never felt stronger and always look forward to training with Sally!

    Hannah has been my PT for about a year now. As a tired mum of an energetic 4 year old I wanted to do something to improve my fitness, lose some weight and get my energy back. When I started I hadn’t really been to a gym other than to use the treadmill - I now go twice a week for training sessions. Hannah provides a knowledgeable, challenging but fun workout - I’ve lost body fat and gained muscle. My confidence in and out of the gym has increased as well as my energy levels and that is down to Hannah’s support.

    Started the 5 week challenge, with JWC instructed Luis. So good that I've purchased another 20 PT'S. Luis really helps you and also put you through your paces to get the best from your body. I cant recommend JWC enough, great staff and atmosphere. Here's to the future!!

    I have been a member of JWC for over 3 months. During this time I have had a sports massage with Hannah to help with long term muscle pain. I cannot recommend Hannah enough for any little niggles. She made me feel at ease and got me sorted. Highly recommend

    I have been working alongside JWC as a physiotherapist for the last year rehabilitating people back to exercise following injury. I have referred to many exercise professionals in the past but the team at JWC are a cut above the rest! They have a real passion and enthusiasm for what they do and they deliver it in a personable and empowering way. The culture they have created amongst their members is very impressive - its more than just a gym. I would highly recommend people looking to invest in their own health and fitness to get on board with Jack, Heather and their team.

    I have been a member of JWC now for about 8 weeks. All I can say its the best decision I've made for a long time. What a great team. Welcoming, knowledgeable, encouraging and fun! You work hard, but feel amazing afterwards....endorphins flowing! If you want to get in shape, feel great and meet people, give it a go....you won't regret it !!

    I have been a member at JWC for about 6 years now and it is, without doubt, one the better moves I have ever made. Quite simply the best gym in and around Holmes Chapel. The classes are full of variety, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and just so helpful, and the members are great. There really is a community feel about the place. The classes are either group HIIT, strength & conditioning or low impact and no two classes are ever the same. They are all instructor led with the format being explained up front and the encouragement comes from all sides throughout. Highly recommended, You will not regret your decision!

    I joined JWC as a complete gym newbie in August 2021, I was extremely shy and anxious at the beginning of my JWC journey starting with 2 sessions a week with Coach Becky. I followed this up by joining with a full membership alongside 1-1 PT sessions. Ever since then I haven't looked back! The team at JWC have been awesome on so many levels since day 1. Not only have I developed a passion for strength and conditioning and improved my overall fitness and mental health, the pts have helped me to increase my self-confidence and smashing my fitness goals such as my entry requirements for the Army Reserves. I cannot rate this gym highly enough - the members are ace, the PT's are amazing, I have gained so much more than just a gym!🙌🙌

    Highly recommend JWC for anyone who doesn't like a traditional gym. The trainers/instructors are very knowledgeable and take the time to understand your experience, aims and goals. They then work with you to achieve these. This is the first gym when it doesn't feel a like a chore to go, though I am worked hard by my PT Becky (and previously Sammi)!! Would highly recommend to anyone of any age or fitness level.

    JWC has been my gym of choice for the past 3 years. I have gained confidence within the structured but friendly environment. I have thrived on a new found love for exercise. 3 months ago I sustained an injury, rested a couple of weeks before returning to Personal Training sessions. My shoulder was completely locked and although concerned, Lewis PT was not phased by the limited movement. Fast forward 3 months, my journey to recovery has been steady, guided and methodical. Slow work outs ensuring no area is compromised. I have put trust in my trainer who has delivered on every level. Such a professional Gym Thank you JWC and in particular Lewis Newstead !

    I've been a member for just over a year now and I can hand on heart say that this is THE best fitness experience out there. After completing the 'Fitness Revival' after the first 2020 lockdown, I became a full member of JWC and it quickly became my second home and one of my happy places due to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. All of the coaches are really talented, they create fun, challenging and varied classes each week that really push you physically, without being intimidating. JWC has had a huge impact on my life, I am so much more healthier and happier and I couldn't be more grateful for this place! :)

    You will never look back after joining JWC. Every class is taken by one of the Personal Trainers so you will always be guaranteed a great work out whether its cardio Hiit or Strength and Conditioning. The atmosphere is so friendly and, being a gym phobic 18 months ago, I now love going to all my classes and feel supported and encouraged every time. JWC are unique in their approach to fitness thats why it works!!

    I joined JWC just 4 weeks ago, I met with one of the coaches and we set some short and long term goals and I had the body composition analysis performed. I have just had my body composition performed again and in just 4 weeks my muscle mass is up and my fat mass is down! I have gone from someone that makes excuses and never going to the gym, to someone who prioritses going to group pt nearly everyday! The coaches know you all by name, they learn very quickly what your abilities are and adapt exercises depending on your injuries. Fantastic team and I know already after just 4 weeks I will be a member for life!

    Joining JWC has been one of my best decisions! I've been to public gyms all my life and JWC is on another level. If you want to get fit, strong and healthy and want advice on how to tackle your diet to maximise your efforts then look no further. The Personal Trainers are so helpful and knowledgeable and come on the journey with you. Go for it!

    I have always been fairly active but since giving up team sports, I have been searching for the right gym for me. I can confirm that JWC is that place! The classes are fantastic and no two classes are the same. The coaches are very knowledgeable and seem to instinctively know how hard to push each individual. The members are great and there really is a sense of community about the place. You are definitely pushed harder than you would push yourself and we all feel the benefit of this. An example of how JWC staff go the extra mile for you was underlined during the various lockdowns. They very quickly had twice daily live sessions for us to follow from home plus a backlog of pre-recorded sessions to pick up whenever it suited you. Quite simply the best gym around and one that I am glad to be a part of. Long may it continue. Dave Clark - JWC member
