Run by the same Greek lady for as long as I can remember in the last 10-15 years, she has kept her prices and food consistent all this time. With corporate owned restaurants and shops raising their prices every year to squeeze out a bit more profit from customers, this locally owned and run chippie is open every weekend and public holiday and never charges an extra dollar nor passes the cost of inflation to her customers. She’s here pretty much everyday and never takes a day off. The food is honestly nothing special, it’s just good plain fish and chips, and about as good as you can expect from your own grandma. So don’t go ordering a burger expecting anything other than a patty on store bought buns, but I stand by it. Very affordable and easy food. Support your locally owned and run businesses!

The best calamari you will ever eat! Flavoursome and never stringy. Everything else also delicious. Great prices and people very friendly. First ate here when moved to the area in 2002. Now live in Sydney and always visit when in Brisbane it is that good.

Old school fish and chipper. Fresh local fish cooked as you like... Not real cheap but great food.

I pass here all the time so I called in on my way home for work with a hankering for hot chips, I wasn't disappointed! Amazing chips, potato scallops etc.... So good I drove 20 mins back a week later for fish and chips and wasn't disappointed, nothing good near me worth the drive. The mother and son team are lovely. Fast service.

Paid $54 for 3 overcooked pieces of fish that were full of large bones, and a handful of chips. I ate a small piece the size of my palm, had to spit it out and counted 10 bones. My elderly grandparents had to stop eating it out of fear of choking.

It was ok, nothing special for the fish and chips. Fish was quite dry, and the potato scallops were just standard they are quite stingy on their chips also. Ok to get food from though, just nothing special

Burger patty was hard and way overcooked. The whole burger ended up in the bin, waste of money. I wish someone would take over this business and seriously upgrade the quality and food options. I would love a decent fish and chip shop close by. This is not decent

I was very disappointed that the takeaway containers were polystyrene. Most takeaway shops had moved past using this material. The grilled fish was great, overall our order was more expensive than I expected.

Double charged me for a can and sold me pork instead of beef!!!! I am Muslim. I asked twice if it was pork and he said it’s 100% beef unless his supplier is lying to him. Very bad experience

This old girl in this chipper clearly needs A. Assistance in the shop B. Or just retire. I suspect this was once a good chip shop. I could not eat what I unwrapped.

The chips are SOOO crispy. Been going there for years.
