Awesome! The food was perfect! Delicious and tasty! We loved it! 5 star is not enough for this place! Restaurant vibe reminding me of Iran ❤️ I am on a business trip here in Utah, and I wish this restaurant was in the city where I live!

"My recent dining experience at this restaurant was profoundly disappointing, far from the enjoyable outing I had anticipated. The food was passable but certainly not exceptional, especially when considering the high prices, which were notably steeper than other Persian restaurants in Salt Lake City. However, the most disconcerting aspect was the restaurant's rigid and unreasonable tipping policy. As a group of five friends, we intended to settle our bills separately, only to be informed that a mandatory 20% tip was required on each individual bill. This was particularly burdensome for us as students. Our request to consolidate the bill in an effort to address this issue was flatly denied, showcasing an inflexibility that was both surprising and unwelcome. Given these circumstances, we've unanimously decided to not patronize this establishment again. Their approach to customer service and billing left a lot to be desired and significantly marred our dining experience."

This was our first time at Zaferan Cafe and it was amazing. We loved the food and the service was great. The environment of the restaurant is beautiful adding the Persian culture as the decorations of the restaurant made the restaurant more appealing. Highly recommended 👌👌👌

Very quiet on a Friday night -- please give this place your business! The kabobs were tasty, particularly the beef koobideh and the beef barg (my favorite). The portions are very large and beautifully presented.

I went there for the third time and many things has changed from the last visit. The food was acceptable. However, the waiter was changed and price is increased and receiving 20% mandatory tip and mandatory siting chairs was ridiculous .

Wonderfully kind staff, and great food! The mixed kabob with chicken and beef was extremely flavorful. The khoreshte gheymeh (walnut pomegranate) was pretty sweet, but a different, interesting flavor to try! The appetizer with four dips and pita bread was fantastic.

Met here with a woman's group to talk about current women's protests in Iran. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to our women's group. They had paper straws which I'm a huge fan of. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great! Highly recommend!

Wonderful food and service. If you've never had Persian food this is a must try. The chicken amazing. It's nice that it's a family run business.

Came in last night for an amazing dinner. We shared 3 different dishes with pomegranate salad and hummus to start. The food is seasoned so perfectly we hardly had any leftover. The meat is not overcooked. The basmati, which can be either overcooked and dry or goopy and wet, was cooked to perfection and nice and fluffy! Food is reasonably priced and the place was clean with ample seating on a Friday night. You can call and make reservations to ensure your group has a seat. Food was so good I'll absolutely be back.

Looking for a place to eat after a morning of hiking. I've driven by this place a hundred times and never noticed it. It's in a small strip mall between Brighton high school and Creek road. Was welcomed when we walked in the door. They helped us explain the dishes on the menu. We both decided on the kebabs with salad. Kebabs we're seasoned just right. The salad dressing was a bit to tangy for my taste buds, but was a good salad non the less. Portions were a good size. We will come back because we want to try some of the other dishes that looked amazing.

On the two occasions I’ve been here, the food has been incredible. The chicken is so flavorful, the rice is light and fluffy, and the assorted dips with pita are addictive. If you live on the North end of the valley, make the drive out to Cottonwood Heights—you won’t regret it. Take the leftovers home and eat them for breakfast.

Driving from Colorado to Utah for 9 hours, I really needed some relaxing atmosphere with some food of great taste, fortunately Zeferon had everything I wanted and my visit to Utah started perfect. I highly recommend this Cafe for its great food, authentic taste and perfect atmosphere with great customer service and hospitality. Will definetly come back if I find myself in Utah again.
