😠 I was really looking forward to receiving therapy for my severe traumas from such an establishment. My original opinion was it was going to be amazing due to all of the extra things they offer but I was highly disappointed. My first visit with Heather was delayed for 20 mins and then cut short by 10... People often mention Heather, anxiety, feel, husband, yoga, life, helped, time,

I highly recommend Fernview Stress Management Center! I have been seeing Heather for about a year now, individually and as a couple! She is very professional and great at what she does! She is very easy to talk with and a great listener! The atmosphere is very relaxing and peaceful, and they offer yoga and meditation sessions that are amazing! :)

From the minute you see the entrance of the building to the minute you leave the place everything about this office is here to help you. The calming music in the entryway starts your visit calming you right away. One of the greatest things about the place is very little red tape or paperwork. I was recommended this office by a employee help program and the front end staff made it quick easy and pain free with arranging and paying for my visits. My doctor Heather Kline Schaffer has done everything in her power to teach, aid the progress and cement the ideals and ideas of stress management with kindness and understanding. Our visits have had much success and progress. Learning meditation techniques, talking and exploring my continued journey of management in our visits have continuing effects throughout my life improving aspects of it that I didn't think it would even effect. I recommend this place to anyone in need of help in any of the areas they support

Great atmosphere and place to be seen. My daughter goes here and I’ve seen so much improvement in her mental health. The lady’s in the office are great and always answer all my questions. Celeste and Tanika got me my baby back and I couldn’t be more grateful for them.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Hanner since October. I have nothing but AMAZING things to say. I had been very sick with debilitating anxiety and Heather got me right in knowing the urgency. They sat me down and gave me hot tea and just talked to me to figure out how to manage my anxiety and best options for treatments. Not everyone responds to talk therapy (the husband and I don't) but that is an option among many others. But there is also dr hanner. He does craniosacral therapies and neurofeedback. I have done both. My favorite go to for a hard day would definitely be the craniosacral. But the neurofeedback is proving to be a long term treatment to bring all that cortisol down. I can honestly vouch for this for myself but for my husband as well. THE VA NEEDS TO GET ON BOARD AND SEND SOLDIERS HERE FOR NEURO INSTEAD OF PUSHING PILLS. My husband is a veteran with MANY issues as you can imagine. He had tried all kinds of therapies and medicines but I have never seen such improvements like I have with this. You honestly cannot put a price on health. It needs to be a priority!!! Mental health is so important. It affects everyone around you if you have anxiety, depression or ptsd. My anxiety had been coming down with neurofeedback but when my husband started doing it WOW. His anger and impulsive reactions started to stop and in return helped my anxiety. When my husbands ptsd was addressed CORRECTLY he started to heal and I did as well. THE anger levels came down, my anxiety came down and we could talk like 2 people who actually like each other. I say all this personal info to maybe help another person with ptsd or military family struggling. I have been with my husband before, during and after war. Been married this year 17 years. I do not work for this clinic nor am personal friends with anyone here but I do feel I am treated like I do matter and they truly want me better and healthy. I pray that this reaches the person who needs to hear it. There are places and people that can help. And this place and dr hanner have truly helped my husband and I.

I am beyond frustrated with the lack of communication, transparency, and professionalism I have repeatedly received from the receptionists at this office. I was told one price and charged another. The receptionist told me she’s only been there for 3 weeks and REFUSED to direct my call when I asked to speak with some else in the facility, nor would she let me leave a message. This company is supposed to reduce stress not add to it by taking complete advantage of their patients.

Wow! Dr. Hanner and CranioSacral Therapy! It was my first time doing anything like this to help me during this stressful time of loss. I have had 4 sessions and after the first one I experienced a peace and went from high altitude anxiety to something manageable. And now after the fourth I feel able to function and self care my anxiety. Sometimes we all need outside eyes to help us when we are grieving or overwhelmed. Dr. Heather Kline Schaffer was able to see my pain when others were not aware I was overwhelmed and grieving. She urged me to try CranioSacral therapy to assist me. Having no idea what I was getting into I trusted Dr. Schaffers professional support . I feel different and able to move forward now. Thank you to Frenview stress-management center for all the help and care. Wow! Thank you!

I was really looking forward to receiving therapy for my severe traumas from such an establishment. My original opinion was it was going to be amazing due to all of the extra things they offer but I was highly disappointed. My first visit with Heather was delayed for 20 mins and then cut short by 10. And while in the room she mostly talked about herself. I tried to let it go since I really needed the help and thought that maybe she was trying to let me get to know her and be comfortable around her. My second visit was telecall. It was interrupted twice by other calls along with her telling me all about her father that was in the hospital, her sons, and her dogs. We vaguely talked about books I was reading and then she asked me if I would be comfortable teaching a class on the book. What?! I received absolutely no help. This was a waste of my time and this is the 3rd therapist in a year to disappoint me. My one star is for Heather. As for the establishment it is beautiful and relaxing. The lady at the front desk on my first visit kept apologizing for the wait and even offered me a drink. And anytime I called with questions while setting up my first appointment all my answers were answered in a friendly manner and was extremely helpful. Due to another failure in our mental health system I will now be trying to heal on my own terms. This is heartbreaking.

Stress Management is hands down the best place to go in Anderson when dealing with grief, stress, or a hard time in your life. When my dad passed away at a young age, I went to multiple therapy centers and ended up at Stress Management. I stayed because of my wonderful therapist, Heather. At 8, she let me use art to deal with my feelings and cope with the grief I was feeling. She was the only therapist I felt comfortable and natural conversation with. I have kept in touch with her throughout the years and she has continued to help me with school work and life. If you want to talk to people who really care about you and maybe even learn a little yoga on the way, Fernview is the place.

I've attended several yoga sessions when home from college during breaks and I cannot say enough good things! The environment is relaxing and welcoming for people who have never practiced yoga, as well as those who have for many years. Dr. Heather Schaffer is absolutely amazing at what she does, creating an atmosphere that holds space for whatever stress you may bring in with you and encourages you to let your worries go. I feel the most in tune with myself when I intentionally align my body and mind, and Heather leads you to this place with pure compassion and love. She is wise in the scientific, emotional and spiritual benefits of the yoga practice- a perfect combination of knowledge in my opinion! Highly recommend!

I don't often leave reviews for things, but I wanted to for this. My counselor, Stacie, has been so beneficial in helping me get through a pretty rough patch in life. She really helps me look at things through a different lens, which I didn't realize I was lacking until I started to talk with her. I always leave my sessions feeling calmer and better-equipped to deal with any stress that pops up. Thank you!
