I’ve been here a few times for birthday cakes and donuts, and every time I’ve been super happy with the flavors and presentation. I had them make my wedding cake and my husband and I were both super nervous as to how it would come out since we only had a few reference photos with our own explanation of how we wanted our cake and OH BOY, Did they knock it out of the park! My parents in law picked the cake up for us so we didn’t see it until a few hours before our ceremony and we were so ecstatic with how perfect it looked! And the taste! Just as perfect as our samples! (We did to go at home samples because of covid. Idk if this is still the process or not) we ordered gluten free as well since me and a few other family members have allergies with gluten and dairy so this was the PERFECT place to go. Other allergy friendly products taste off, but City Cakes makes me forget it’s vegan because it tastes so good. Overall, I would highly recommend them for your wedding/special occasion cakes. Make sure you’re communicating well as to what your vision is and they’ll make it happen and then some! I wish we could go back for our one year anniversary and get the same flavors in a cake but we moved out of state >__< . (And I’m totally missing them because our city doesn’t have any vegan bakeries. Closest ones are an hour away) so take full advantage while you can!

City Cakes did the cupcakes for our wedding years ago. Turned out great. They were so popular, I didn't even get one. I continue to visit and get brownies, cookies, and other treats. My wife likes some of their vegan options. And they're open later than many.

So I was super excited to get a vegan cake for my birthday. These guys were the only place open that late It looked pretty, but that it the cake was dense and oily and the “buttercream” frosting was way to thick and heavy. Also couldn’t taste the lemon that its supposed to taste of

They were super friendly. The donuts are to die for. So amazing. If I had to rate the quality of the cakes and the presentation I would rate them 10 out of 10! The baker there, I believe her name was Charissa, was so awesome!

Hubby & I ordered our wedding cake from City Cakes in Draper. They were so easy to work with and so friendly and helpful. We’ve been there many times for their cupcakes and they’re all so tasty. When we saw our cake on our wedding day it was so cute, perfect and exactly what we wanted. When we took our first bite…oh my goshhhhh!! It was DELISH!! We kept the top tier and have it in our freezer to enjoy next year. Thank you again City Cakes! Everyone enjoyed the cake! You are incredible at what you do!

ALOT of gluten free and dairy free items. It's so nice having somewhere to go to know it won't be a issue for my wife who gets sick with gluten and I am lactose intolerant

#CityCakes #FiveStarReview #Vegan #GlutenFree #Desserts I recently had the opportunity to try some of the vegan and gluten free desserts from City Cakes and was absolutely blown away by the quality. The vegan cheesecake in particular was amazing - it tasted just as rich and creamy as the traditional version, but without any dairy or gluten. The other desserts we tried were also top-notch, with bold flavors and perfectly balanced textures. It's clear that a lot of care and attention goes into each and every one of their creations. The only downside is that the price is a bit steep, but in my opinion, it's worth it for the high quality and care that goes into these desserts. Overall, I would give City Cakes a five star rating. If you're in need of some delicious and indulgent vegan and gluten free desserts, this is definitely the place to go.

Lunch menu is okay, most of it is cold grab and go stuff. But their baked goods were delicious. Got the gluten free ginger softies and highly recommend. The staff were nice enough.

For someone who doesn’t eat dairy, I’m so glad that a vegan bakery exists here. Their pastries are always great. We are particular fans of the peanut butter slice and the raspberry lemon tart and pick each up almost every week.

I’m NOT vegan, and I can say EVERYTHING here has been great! I will for sure be coming back! Andrea was super helpful and knowledgeable about the products and food they have. All of the stuff they have (that I’ve tried at least) is quite frankly some of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Vegan or not! 10/10 will recommend to EVERYONE vegan or not!

Wow. I haven’t eaten one thing here I didn’t love- cookies, cupcakes, muffins, bars, and bread. My son is vegan, and my sister is gluten free with other allergies. It makes me so happy to have delicious desserts for them❤️ However, I love it all as well!

They made my wedding cake and it turned out beautiful and tasted delicious! I will definitely be getting cakes from them in the future. However, one issue I had was the cake was supposed to be enough for 70 people, and it was enough for 40, at best. We cut very small slices and ran out before half the guests could get some!

I get that this place is vegan. Should I have gone somewhere else to get a cake? Absolutely! I was told by the shop worker that the cakes were very good and they are just like a regular cake. Nope. So gross. Extremely dense cake. Frosting is a weird texture and the taste was not recognizable as vanilla. Wasted $30 on a small cake for my daughters birthday. It ended up in the trash.

Be aware their cakes are NOT healthy! They may be gluten and dairy free, but they are loaded with bad sugar!! If asked, they say they use "beet sugar" but it seems it's a ploy to mask the sugar since all sugar is made from beets!!

This is the place for delicious gluten & dairy free pastries! City Cakes is my family’s jam for birthday cakes, especially the red velvet & lemon coconut flavors with their delicious buttercream frosting! But my personal fave is the double chocolate chip whoopie pies! They also serve sandwiches on GF bread. Caution: May be dangerous to the physique…Don’t hurt yourself with those cinnamon rolls!

Delicious, fresh baked goods. The frosting is the best I have ever had, vegan or not. Service was fast and staff were kind. Definitely will be coming back

I love City Cakes! I'm lactose intolerant and it's so nice to have a place that makes delicious desserts without dairy! I love the cookies, peanut butter bars, brownies, and cinnamon rolls! Definitely recommend giving them a try!

Who said vegan isn't tasty?? If you've heard that then you've not had the joy of eating a slice if cheesecake from City Cakes! Did I mention they have gluten free options? They gave both savory and sweet treats for folks who are living and enjoying a plant based diet. Vegan Durant mean sugar free! Enjoy

We had to resort to this place because a nearby breakfast restaurant was filled up; I was so glad we did. I don’t normally seek gluten free or vegan desserts but the powdered donut with the jam on top was SO GOOD. The employees of the shop were really nice too and would be happy to recommend things to you if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband has allergies to gluten and dairy and this place makes the most delicious cakes as well as other tasty desserts that are GF and vegan! They have lots of flavors and options to choose from, despite his dietary restrictions. Furthermore, the staff is always super friendly and helpful with decorating suggestions. They’ve done custom decorations on cake tops that I just described over the phone and they nailed it! It makes all the difference on his birthday to be able to eat cake and feel like a normal dad and not worry about his dietary allergies. I highly recommend City Cakes if you need anything gluten-free, vegan, or sugar-free. You won’t be disappointed!

Bought some g-free cupcakes for my son’s birthday here. The upside is that they have a great selection of g-free items. I bought some non-gluten free cupcakes for the rest of my family. The downside is they were dry and brick-like. Kind of a disappointment for the amount of $.

Back in March, I ordered a wedding cake for my daughter's wedding in October. I took pictures in of the cake and a swatch of the colors we wanted and they said they could make it. I paid in full. 2 days before the wedding, I went to check on the cake and the business had moved. I called and they said the cake will be there on time for the wedding. It was delivered when they said it would be. I went to look at it and was appalled. It looked nothing like what we agreed upon. I was so dissatisfied and upset to have spent $600 on this cake and it wasn't what I ordered. The flavors were correct but the cake looked terrible. I went in today to talk to the manager/owner, and showed her what we were expecting and what we received. She listened, told me the person who took our order was no longer there, apologized and gave us a full refund. They made me whole. I will go there again for their baked goods.

Ordered a tasting to see what flavors we liked for our wedding cake. Picked it up to find that only half the flavors were correct. The two flavors I was really excited for were missing(red velvet and vanilla). If they cannot get a sample right, how will I get the proper wedding cake? I was in great communication until I let them know of this issue and have not heard back since then. Their cakes looked wonderful but this was not the best experience for getting a wedding cake sorted out.
