Cool park to walk around. Lots of wildlife in the water. Especially Plecos for my fish lovers. The Christmas decorations are really pretty. I always see people walking around the area. Definitely recommend exploring the area if you live near by.

Such a nice park to enjoy a walk in! It was very clean and there was plenty to see! I went in the morning and it was not overly busy. I enjoyed seeing all the turtles in the water and they would swim right up to the bridge so you could see them. There were also lots of different birds wandering about. There were plenty of areas to sit and take a break to enjoy the scenery. It was also hard to believe that busy highways were so close by, I hardly noticed the noise at all. Can't wait to take another walk here.

Great place to visit during Holidays. They have nice light shows and a good walk by the lake. There are also stores close by that you can stop by to get a snack or eat after the beautiful view.

Fantastic place to walk around to exercise and to look at the nature. You are walking over water a lot of the time which is very neat and sometimes you will even be able to see turtles and ducks in the water! I bring my family here all the time and we always have a great time. They do seasonal events like decorate for Christmas and New Years, 4th of July Fireworks. Sometimes they even host festivals out there. Overall its a great place to get away from the world and relax.

A morning walk or an evening stroll on a boardwalk (1-mile loop) surrounding the lake offers picturesque views of Uptown Altamonte. The unique venue hosts exciting community and holiday events with a display of beautiful decorations across the park. The lake is home to lots of turtles, cranes, and fish. It’s a well-maintained park with an open amphitheater, benches, and a public restroom.

Wonderful park! Very beautiful views. Convenient path around the lake and across the lake. Well-groomed plants, a comfortable place to stay. And if you paint a smile on a water tower, as I did in the photo, it will be really good!

Cranes Roost Park is a beautiful place in a very busy area of Altamonte Springs. Yet its very peaceful to walk around the lake when the crowd is less. Be it spring, fall or winter time...the park has its own charm. But my favorite time is during Christmas when they have all the decorations up. They also have a Amphitheater where many events are held. This place is great to go for a jog, or a stroll or just go and sit and relax. One round around the lake is little over a mile. You see lot of birds around. You can spot ducks and turtles too in the lake. Definitely worth a visit.

It was early on a Monday morning, the first week in September I bicycled toward this park and found myself at the fountain area. The beautiful dawn began to break. Crane's Roost reminds me of an ancient outdoor temple with grandiose arches and a geometrical star fountain. It was calming and surreal. Dare I say even a little ... spiritual?! 🙏✨ I would suggest anyone go, it is truly lovely.

All year round it is a nice place to visit. However, during the holidays, it lights up with many displays celebrating this time of year and there is music being played throughout the park. It would be nice if they had some food vendors during later hour, that was the only draw back noticed. But overall, nice place for a walk with loved ones and enjoy the atmosphere of the holidays.

A beautiful park. So much space. Plenty of area fir picnics. There’s also a walking trail that takes you not only around the lake but across parts of it. There’s shaded areas, and lots of benches. Plenty of things to look at. The grounds are maintained. We saw one piece of trash, probably escaped from a picnic. Also on certain parts of the walk you can hear music. It’s a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

I discovered this beautiful, peaceful, clean park by chance while driving through this road to get to the AMC cinema. POV: I would say it will be the most wonderful park in Orlando. Pay a visit when you have a chance 😀

Beloved public chill spot. Relax or walk, jog, saunter solemnly around the lake taking in the sites! Always clean and well lit. I always feel safe here with my family!

Such a beautiful place to walk, run, read a book, eat lunch or simply sit on one of the benches along the walking bridges enjoying the breeze and views or in the fountain area. ❤

I had the pleasure of discovering Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs, and it was a delightful surprise. This park is a familiar spot for locals to enjoy a leisurely stroll or to relax on one of the benches nestled under the shade of the trees. What's more, part of the trail runs over the lake, offering stunning views and ample opportunities for taking breathtaking pictures. There's also a notable landmark in the distance that's hard to miss: the Majesty Building. Despite its impressive size, locals have given it the nickname 'I4 eyesore,' and you can find plenty of amusing memes and stories about it online.

Absolutely love walking here! Cute turtles, no gators around and most importantly NO bikes or scooters that almost run over my dogs!!

Beautiful park! Free parking. Great place to walk clear your mind. Bring the kids. Plenty of lights at night ( many couples dance ) music plays throughout the park on speakers. Love it as a picture spot for my kids as well. Walking distance to Altomonte mall and many shops. The fireworks show here every year is also a memorable moment that will last forever. Bathrooms are available & clean. This park is very well maintained. Benches are also available if you want to sit and enjoy the view.

Took my son to Cranes Roost Halloween, and he had a blast. Lots of vendors stalls to get candy, and some offered other things like a free ticket to Urban Air in Altamonte. Very large park to walk through, so even on normal days be sure have your walking shoes on. Great spot for families and friends

Went to view the Christmas lights and there was a cut power cable. My son’s dog stepped on it and got electrocuted. Could not find any worker and called 911 and the fire department came and disconnected the cable so no one else would get hurt.

Cranes Roost Park is a nice place to take a walk in Altamonte Springs. It's about a mile around the pond. The facility has a bandstand and bathrooms. We went to see the Christmas lights and there were not all that many. Then we waited for the fountain holiday themed music and light show which was supposed to happen on the hour, but the show didn't run. All the people waiting eventually wandered away. Hopefully they get their holiday display in order. Other than that the park was a pleasant place to get some fresh air.

I've lived and worked closely for about 5 years now and absolutely love this park. It's super clean and walking our dogs is very easy. They constantly cycle through different community events which is great for local business. I hope we can continue to enjoy this park for many years to come. Enjoy the flooding pictures from the hurricane, the park staff did a great job at maintaining safety and getting the park opened very quickly.

Absolutely love this park. Can do laps around the little lake and it doesn't even seem like you're walking that much because of all the beauty. Plenty of fit people running and exercising so great for that. Also quiet enough to just clear your mind. Turtles ducks and fish in the water plus there's a beautiful sculpture that I couldn't stop looking at. Public bathrooms here too with plenty of places to eat around it that you can walk to.

👍👍 Really pretty park with a nice woodsy trail and and the Little Wekivia River running back behind it all. Lots of space for kids to run around and a nice playground area. Very clean and spacious. It had just rained when I went to go check it out. We were pretty much the only people in the whole park....
