I bought my husband the Discovery flight as a Christmas gift. He doesn’t do reviews, but I’ll do my best to convey how wonderful the entire experience was for the both of us. Mary was, well, the best!! What a sweetheart. She answered any and all questions I had upon purchasing the flight. I apologize that I don’t remember the young lady’s name that assisted us on the actual flight date, but she was very kind and accommodating as well. As for the actual flight, my husband responded with, “that was awesome”! After 16 years of trying to buy him the perfect gift…..I succeeded!!! Paul was great with his knowledge and experience, and took the time to answer any and all questions my husband had during their flight. Great job Jones Brothers!! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Training: Commercial Sea Plane Add on. ASES First class operation although my contact was mostly limited to my Instructor Evan. Evan at all times was affable, professional, knowledgeable friendly & helpful. He went above & beyond for his students as I see it, making their time easy. He prepared us well for the checkride and that was co-ordinated well, kudos to the flight school for that. Highly recommended 5 out of 5. Ask for Evan if you can. Absolutely no compensation for this review, as per all reviews I do, if something is done well I am very enthusiastic. I strive to be fair and balanced in my reviews.

Just want to give a huge shoutout to Jones Brothers Air and Seaplane Adventures! I showed up to their 3 day Commercial add on SES and was immediately treated like family and the material instructed was so good! I drove 4 hours just because of the hearsay and reviews and boy they did not disappoint! I went in April and in June started at my dream 135 as a seaplane pilot. I’m 4 months into being a Seaplane Pilot and Let’s just say the destinations have made it so worth it! So glad I made the trip to Tavares!

We took our first Seaplane ride today with Eason and Evan. What a great tour over the lakes, theme parks and even past the RV resort where we winter at. I highly recommend the Jones Brothers tours!

Mary took care of our reservation and was wonderful when we arrived. Her attitude and love for what she does truly shows. Paul our pilot was perfect as he explained the entire route and shared stories about the area. The plane was clean and comfortable and I suggest sitting in the 2nd rows not only the air flows but the views are amazing. As a Travel Specialist I like to experience firsthand before recommending and I will definitely recommend Jones Brothers and Paul to all of my clients. He is also the captain of pontoon boats in Mt Dora when he isn't flying.

Excellent flight! 2nd time flyer, and loved it! They are the best for sight seeing flights and seaplane training. I’ve been flying for about 30yrs and they pilots are first rate! Don’t hesitate to fly with Jones Brothers! PS: lots of great places to eat nearby make It a day or evening trip. Enjoy!

Had an excellent 45 minute tour flight. Was cool to see all the Orlando amusement parks from the air and see the neighborhoods in the surrounding communities. I didn’t realize how smooth landing on water would be. Recommend the morning flight before the lakes get busier.

Stewart and Evan were awesome! They were able to get us out on a tour with relatively short notice and before some rain hit. Evan was an excellent pilot and tour guide, pointing out all the different lakes and wetlands we passed. Would definitely recommend tours with these guys!

My husband went with me for the Lake Harris splash and dash tour for my birthday! I loved it. The plane was amazing and our pilot was a great guide and gave us a smooth flight. The area is beautiful and I loved the splash down on the river. We returned by a lake landing and then riding the plane up the ramp into a parking area. The planes are beautiful. It was a bucket list item for me and did not disappoint.

Our pilot Paul was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely recommend taking a ride.

Online reservations were easy and accurate. The pilot was very personable and informative, pointing out landmarks during the flight. The landing was exceptionally smooth! Great time for me and my grandson.

everything you would expect from a seaplane adventure...although I was alittle surprised in the high quality of the aircraft..the Cessna 206 they use is more than up to the task. Ethan the PIC was very competent and obviously enjoying life. Great way to get another view of the Mt Dora area.

Had an amazing time here! The staff members are friendly and tons of fun and my flight instructor was top-notch. Location is fantastic and the facilities are well kept and customer-centric. And the town was great! Good places to eat and stay.

These guys are great. My parents took my wife and I on a short tour in 2021. We all had a fantastic day. So when I booked a cruise leaving from Port Canaveral I was excited book with Jones Brothers again. The one hour just wasn’t going to be enough for us this time. This time I book their Breakfast Flight and their Bar Crawl Flight. We were paired with Steve and he made the day one we will never forget. My wife and I had an awesome time and it felt like we were flying with a long time friend. My wife and I can’t wait to book one of their longer tours.

An absolute must do in Tavares! Amazing tour with Pilot Carl! He showed me all the lakes around and a splash and go! Such a fantastic point of view of Lake County, i was nervous at first but Carl made me feel safe in minutes and I enjoyed every seconds! Can’t wait to do it again!

Absolutely amazing experience on the sunset flight. Great panoramic views and it was súper fun to land and “boat” around on Lakes Minneola and Apopka before taking off for more and landing west, facing an amazing view as we returned to Lake Dora. Easton was very friendly and shared everything he knew about the plane and area. I definitely want to come back for more.

Me and a friend did the 1 hour tour up to the St. John’s river and we were more than satisfied. Our pilot Cory did a fantastic job flying the plane and made sure we had a blast. If you are looking to book a tour or training I would recommend requesting Cory as the pilot. 10/10

We highly recommend this experience. Our pilot (Carl) was great. He was very informative and just a lot of fun to be around. We have flown in small planes but this was our first experience in a float plane and it was a blast. Can't say enough other than to say you need to try it. You won't be sorry.

Had a Great Time last Saturday...spending the day in Tavares and doing a little seaplane flying as well. Thank you to both Mary and Carl for your gracious hospitality. We will surely be back!!

John W. was a great instructor! I couldn't have asked for a better experience in the amount of time we got things accomplished, and completed in preparation for the checkride! I would recommend any pilot looking for a sea plane add on to come to this company. They have a very laid back atmosphere which gives you ample time to study as well as observe how things work at a sea plane base between your flights. If you take advantage of your time, you'll be more than ready for the checkride, and well studied. Thanks again for a great hospitable experience, and outstanding instruction from John!

What an amazing experience!! Loved every moment of it. Our pilot, Pete was absolutely wonderful and the knowledge he shared was amazing!! Cannot say enough about this wonderful experience!

I enjoyed the privilege of earning my seaplane rating with Jones Brothers in October and it was, hands down, the most fun I’ve ever had flying. The staff at Jones Brothers are phenomenal—accommodating, cordial, and articulate in their communication. Shout out to Morgan and my instructor Greg for making my add-on training one of the more memorable experiences in my time as a pilot!

I recently took my wife for her birthday on a seaplane ride the Jones Brothers Co. The plane ride was very smooth. The pilot Paul was very professional and knowledgeable of the area. Paul also timed the trip perfectly so my wife and I could enjoy the beautiful sunset. I totally recommend this company for their professionalism and flying skills.
