Update 4/22/23: THEY'RE BACK!!! Jason is back and the store is better than ever. So many awesome things and we are so excited to have our favorite store back. Location is in Gulf Coast. Jason is as awesome and always. Elizabeth is a new face to us and they were amazing as well. Great vibes and great selection. Retro paradise <3 I just moved to the area and was very excited to find out about this retro game store. We visited yesterday and I cannot wait to go back. I was reunited with an old favorite of mine and Jason was very kind. The store is huge and filled with a variety of games for all types of game preferences. This is definitely a gem.

RETRO OVERLOAD!!! (Look at my pictures and video!) I'm 43 years old as of this post and I can tell you....the flood of nostalgia that hit me was ridiculous! This posting would be too long if I attempted to describe everything they carry! So look at my pictures and watch my video for a complete walk through. Just know they have almost every console and video game available. The prices are are based on value and the limited availability of the game and console. So if you're a collector or a gamer this place is for you!

The owner is an awesome guy. Best selection of old school games. Prices are reasonable and the shop is spotless. I've bought multiple games from here and never once had a problem. The return policy is agreeable, and I love to shop at small businesses. 5 stars through and through

Quite possibly the greatest retro gaming store you will find, the selection is simply breathtaking. The store is so packed with retro goodness it feels like a museum, and the owner is an awesome guy as well, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been coming to 8 bit since the Bonita store. The owner is super nice and they have a great selection. Prices can be a little higher than found on eBay but it’s worth it when you get to experience a place like this. I always check here before going elsewhere.

You have no idea how happy I am about this store, from the epic costumer service and selection. Especially being a multi console owner, and buyer from vintage to current title games, not only are they massively stocked with every platform games you can think of (puts Lamestop to shame) but the prices are ridiculously great, and can't say enough that the customer service is great! In my opinion, if your shopping any where else, again aka Lamestop. Your wasting your time, sanity, and money! SHOP HERE FIRST

One of my favorite places for retro video games in the country and I've been to a lot. My favorite in Florida without question. I used to spend a lot of time at the old location pre hurricane Ian and went to the new location for the first time today (Jan 2024). The selection is amazing. So many rare hard to find items like Neo Geo consoles, complete TurboExpress systems, and systems going back to the beginnings of Atari and its competition. It's kind of like a video game museum. There is an awesome selection of video game music on vinyl which you just don't see in stores. The selection of games, accessories and systems is almost overwhelming. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who loves video games from any generation. Bring in your trades, just go shop/browse to expand your collection, just go if you're in the area.

Stopped in there a few years ago, and my ring tone went off. It was rick from Rick and Morty screaming "I'm Pickle Rick". I continued shopping and ended up buying some random XBOX 1 game. When I went to check out, the owner gave me a plushy pickle rick he had in the back. free of charge. They have such an amazing selection of games, and after that initial interaction, I have been coming back at least once or twice a month. Amazing store

I travelled across the state to check out 8 bit Hall of Fame on a recommendation from a friend. They have an amazing selection, everyone there was super friendly and helpful. Definitely check it out if you are in the area! I know I will be back!

I LOVE this place. My favorite store is 8-Bit Hall of Fame.I bought an original Xbox recently and it has been working great. The console looks nice even though it is almost 23 years old. I am thinking about buying a Xbox 360 from them soon and all of their games work fine. But, when I bought a game called Pirates of the Caribbean, it went to the loading screen but never came up. This was NOT 8-Bits fault because I tried ordering another copy off of amazon and that didn't work either so it's just the game. Everything else is great and I wish they had more stores around. The staff is especially nice too. Thank you to 8-Bit and all the staff for your work.
