Schloss Wasserburg was one of the best travel decisions and an extremely beautiful property. The owner was very friendly and courteous and provided every facility to keep us comfortable. The castle is impeccably clean and one can explore the grounds, go fishing or cycling at your ones own pace. My regret was the time crunch due to which I couldn't explore the trails. I would definitely like to stay in the castle once again.

We attended the wedding of friends here. I have to say that our experience at the castle rates as perhaps the best 24 hours of our lives. The friendly, attentive, knowlegable staff, historic setting, and lovely rooms were amazing. We were impressed by the thoughtful melding of historic setting with modern conveniences. This experience exceeded our already lofty expectations.

What a beautiful and special place! I stayed at Castle Wasserburg several times already with my family or groups of friends and it‘s one of my favorite locations in the world. It‘s perfect for just chilling with family & kids (swimming, playing tennis, hanging out,..) or celebrating special occasions and partying until the early morning. It almost feels like living in a fairy tale! You can even hire fantastic and really lovely staff if needed! thank you @Castle Wasserburg for many unforgettable weeks and weekends!

First visit to Schloss Wasserburg. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. Room was very clean and very adequate. Customer service at reception and diner was superb. Wonderful castle centrally located between Vienna(45 min drive) & Salzburg(2 hr drive). Recommended.

Schloss Wasserburg(Castle) is one of the most magical places I’ve had the privilege to stay at.. The hospitality and service was over the top as they took care of every need and desire we had. I don’t have words to describe the quality and taste of the food that prepared. The rest of the staff and help could not do enough to make us all feel comfortable. Hats off. It was an amazing week with memories to last a lifetime. Schloss Wasserburg(Castle) should be put on your bucket list.

The bedrooms were kept in perfect condition. The whole castle and the gardens are both stunning with plenty of history. The food is delicious and all the staff are so helpful. Not one complaint to be made!

Royalty and finest. The Castle (Schloss Wasserburg) is absolutely breath taking and beautiful. Lots of history to see. The grounds are vast and filled with interesting trees. The Castle is situated 45 KM west of vienna, the capital of austria.

schloss wasserburg is SPECTACULAR! luxury and comfort of a 5 star luxury hotel in a fairy tale castle... the vast estate leaves no requests unanswered - massive garden, tennis court, large private pool, sauna, etc. etc.

The very idea of living in a 12th century castle excited me on my trip to Austria. Schloss was suggested by one of my acquaintances in Switzerland.And I must admit, the experience was worth it. The entire team was very helpful, right from our arrival to the departure. The icing on the cake was the perfectly maintained tennis court, where I spent most of my time during our stay.

Visited this heritage property quite a few times and I must say that I'm impressed. The building is well furnished and our stay was luxurious and no less than royals. Staff is extremely friendly and makes your stay even special. I will definitely recommend Schloss Wasseburg to everyone in my social group.
