Interesting and important coastal park that is a sanctuary for many seabirds.

Hadn’t heard of these before arriving in Rota, but they are definitely worth a visit. There are signs/plaques at most of the beach entrances that go into more detail about them and it’s an interesting read. We went the beach around high tide first and really didn’t notice them, but go around low tide and it’s an awesome sight. Crazy that they are still working and in use after thousands of years.

One of most favorite paces to visit. All small woodend roads that lead to the ocean. And above only trees. Magic place

This place brings me so much peace when I'm having a tough day. It's a beautiful spot to do yoga across from as well. Free mediation session.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in Andalucía and a hidden gem in Rota. Bring your science shoes and put on your history cap and you might find the semi-natural spa created by the Phoenicians inadvertently while constructing the corrals. As the tides change from low to high the pools fill up with cascading water heated by the sun. Swimming isn't possible during low tide but there is plenty of marine wildlife to look at up close. This place is especially great of you have a toddler that can't swim. Wading is possible at high tide because the corrals also cut down any big waves. There is a nudist beach nearby but everyone keeps to themselves in Spain. No big deal.

We absolutely loved dinning in corales de rota, its a tapas place, everything tasted delicious and the food wss very fresh and affordable comparing to the rest of the area. The staff also speak English. The owner is very welcoming and she was always smiling. We would recommend this place 100% see the menu for more info about the food I took pics of it in English and Spanish so i hope this helps everyone. Like me :)

I wandered into this place while walking on the banks of the beach. It was such a beautiful sight to behold and I learned from my colleagues that I was fortunate to see it because the ocean water covers it sometimes, and truthfully the next day when I took the same walk the corrales was covered you could not even get close but I did get a beautiful view. I saw people catching fish in the corrales

I appreciate the natural beauty of the area. The tide comes and goes exposing the ancient fishing corrals. On high tide they disappear with the water. With low tide, they are very evident and accessible. Whoever built them, constructed a method of naturally enhancing the power of the ocean tides and near shore aquatic fishing methodology manipulation. Clever and simple, indeed!
