It’s absolutely beautiful place and worth to visit!!! I took a bus from Chozenji Onsen bus stop and took 20 minutes. When I arrived, they had rainbow and mountain. It was beautiful and less tourist. They have observatory to see lake and mountain view. 20 minutes to climb up and not that difficult climb. Just check bus schedule first. They have 1 or 2 buses in 1 hour. I stayed 1 hour and it was enough time to check out view, climb up and back.

Although it is a bit tedious to climb to the top, the view from the terrace is spectacular. It’s worth definitely. There’s a big car park before climbing.

To go to this viewing platform, you need to do a 600 meters of hiking from the car park. The trail is not very easy. I saw some hikers used full gears going there. The hike however is well paid off by the awesome panoramic view of the Lake Chuzenji. I guarantee you will wow when you get there. A relief is the decent to the car park is much easier.

Very pretty hike. Started at the ropeway, walked here and back along the lake. Beautiful views of the valley and waterfalls below. The path is not difficult, but sometimes it was hard to choose the correct route. We used Komoot to navigate while hiking and that helped us a lot.

The weather was bad today, I can only imagine how beautiful it must be on a clear day. It's a short walk with some climbing from the parking to the observation deck. About 15 minutes or so.

Beautiful views, but not without any effort. The hike is quite a hill up and some skill level is required. Up in the woods you can really enjoy the views and the stunning nature. Loads of insects though, which is a good thing obviously:)

Super little spot. Not big a commercial, small wooden structure in the perfect place overlooking the lake to one side and the mountains to the other
