A really nice place! There are a bunch of noodle dishes, but I especially enjoyed the ramen! The staff are very kind and can communicate well! They have cocktails in the evening too.

The service is excellent, everything is clean and comfortable, and the food and drinks are amazing!! It is also easy to find and the location is beautiful. Again, I fully recomend it 💜

Good price . Good value. Good hospitality

Not only was it easy to find, but the staff were exceptional! We have never had a better interaction with a hotel before. We had drinks in the evening and the well trained and seasoned staff were able to recommend us many things to do not just in tochigi but in other parts of Japan as well! All staff members we met spoke English fairly well and for the little that they didn't know we were able to sound it out! The room was clean and we'll maintained. I was able to ask for anything I needed and it was there without hesitation! I WILL be back again! Thanks Meg-San and Edd-San for a wonderful stay! The Bat will return!

The place and surroundings are incredibly beautiful, also the staff is so warm, welcoming and accomodating. I can't wait to visit Kuranomachi Guest House again!

Good location, nice building, friendly staff. Looks like it was a lively and busy place but we won't be coming back: they tried to charge us more than if we had booked through a booking platform and we spent a night on the third floor which was (I assume) dedicated to staff (old mattress and not super clean). Perhaps we were unlucky... By the way, no restaurant.
