A lovely hotel with great service and nice rooms. Spacious, big beds and bathrooms and really good value for money considering the hotels 5 star status. Loads of amenities and a nice restaurant bar on the roof. It’s a long way from the Center of barcelona so if you are here sightseeing I would suggest somewhere closer to the Center as you will end up taking cabs to and from which is expensive and inconvenient. Great for a night near the airport.

Was there for a conference. Nice looking place but we did not feel safe and comfortable anymore after money was stolen from one of the colleagues while his stuff was left under surveillance of the hotel personnel. The hotel could not find out who took it and didn't take responsibility. A free drink was all that was offered. If you cannot trust the hotel personnel around, this is just a no go. Especially in this hotel category.

Very nice hotel. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful. Lovely rooms, however our shower had a leak from the ceiling when on. Cold water dripping on you will showering. Could of been cleaned a bit better. Due to the black marble in the bathroom it shows up any dust and dirt if not cleaned thoroughly. Room service is not too expensive but the burger I had and the club sandwich my wife had were disappointing. Breakfast was good, loads of choice. The roof top bar is great fun and the bar in the lobby is nice. Only a short ride from the airport and taxis always available to get you to town. Overall a nice hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Tower. From the check-in to check-out, it was seemless. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room is relatively clean but looks to be a bit worn. It does have a small gym. Great bar on the top floor with a view of the city. The hotel is a short 10min taxi ride from the airport €20+/-. There's always taxis outside of the hotel if you decide to choose this type of transportation if not, the metro is 5 min walk and 15-20 mins ride into center. Overall, I would stay here again.

Never been in a place with so many kind people. Everybody, from the gentleman who always greets us at the door, to the gentleman Ali (!!) at the restaurant, whom not only served us delicious food, but gave one of the best human to human experience my girlfriend and I have ever had. Sure this place is fancy, the gym and spa is top class, the view is beautiful, the room is clean, but what really stood out for us were the people who worked here. We asked the bartender to surprise us with a random drink, and it was simply amazing. They are all extremely professional, all the staffmembers! Big thanks to them! And last but not least, a big shout out to Ali again, we still remember your amazing service and kindness!

I have to admit that it is not a real 5-star hotel. When we arrived, staff was doing some stuff on their computers instead of welcoming us. Moreover, when we asked for only 2 extra complementary water bottles, the receptionist said to us that we had to pay. Finally, we asked for a late check-out just 1 hour more and they refused and cut the water in the whole room at 12:00. This is sad because this hotel could be very very nice if the quality of service would upgrade. However, the room was clean and pleasant to live in and the bar at the rooftop is beautiful.

First I'm going to review Michael and the Axis bar. My husband and I flew a red eye in from the states so when we arrived we were exhausted, a bit disoriented and hungry. The Axis bar was open at the time and once we dropped our bags off we went down and grabbed a seat. Michael made us the most delicious cafe con leche and we had a nice meal and wine. He's a great server, bartender, barista and all around great guy. We visited Axis often throughout our stay and Michael went above and beyond to keep us well fed and hydrated. He is consistent, friendly and attentive- I hope the hotel manager knows what an asset he is! Okay, for the rest of the hotel. * * * My husband and I were here for a business trip/vacation for a week. Given the location and the hours of restaurants, spa, and amenities I would say this place is better suited for business trips. Fortunately the metro is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel but about a 30 min ride to all the action (museums, shopping, restaurants, etc.) Also, though the hotel is beautifully designed and very modern, it was a bit overwhelming for me personally. May not be an issue for most, but everything is mirrored or reflective which made for a lot of visual noise. The sky bar on the rooftop is a great idea though not appealing for anyone over the age of 25. There was an overwhelming smell of perfume or air freshener when we walked in that made a few of us sick and the whole vibe felt very young. We left before even being seated. Our room was small but the bed was comfortable. They provided us robes and slippers for our room which was nice. As a few other reviews had mentioned, water was hard to come by and seems to be a real commodity there. Overall the stay was nice. The staff was very pleasant and worked hard to make you feel cared for. I probably won't return next time I'm in Barcelona but mostly just due to the location being inconvenient to the places I like to visit.

The staff appeared friendly but when my phone went to the hotel on its own, on the 16th of May and entered through the staff entrance between 06:30 and 06:31, then got turned off 5 minutes later… after asking the security guards they said that only 2 people had come in at this time, so in my innocence I asked the manager to ask these people if they had or could return my phone. He seemed friendly enough and said that they would look into it but on my return call said they would only help if the police came and asked for it. Zero empathy if they are not getting money from you and they employ people who don’t even know how to steal phones properly, goodness knows how much they pay someone with this level of stupidity. I might be wrong about it being a staff member if there was a guest who took public transportation and came in through the staff entrance at that time and then turned my phone off inside the building. Either way, I’d be very careful with my things there, especially when they advertise the place as a conference center, don’t leave your laptop or phone out of your sight. I’m still waiting for a response from the area manager after addressing a letter to him and giving it to the manager on duty.

Pleasant stay and great staff What makes this hotel great is the staff. We had a medical emergency and did not speak any Spanish. Alberto and Roger helped us to a great extent with getting anything organised and translating where needed. Thanks so much for the help and taking good care of us. Looking forward to come back to Barcelona.

This hotel is really nice especially if you’re wanting to stay near the airport in Barcelona. I had to dock it by 1 star, maybe even 2 stars because of the check-in/check-out process. It took SO long and so did all the elevators. When we first got there to check in, there was 1 person handling several groups checking in. Finally another came to assist but we all waited quite some time for check-in. But the check-out…y’all. I have never seen a line so long to check out of any hotel. And it was long ALL morning. We requested a late checkout and I went down about an hour before we had to leave and I would have been there for well over that hour if the nice people in front of me didn’t let me pass them. There was even another lady in line after me who was going to miss her cruise because of this check out. Just keep this in mind. I got an email that offered virtual check out and even though I responded to that, and it said I was good to go, the check-out staff would not let me just turn in the keys even though I didn’t purchase anything extra. I would recommend the hotel for all reasons except for this. It was infuriating. It’s a beautiful massive hotel with an understandably massive amount of guests but it doesn’t seem to have the infrastructure processes required to handle that amount.

Will not come back in the future. I have had good experiences in Hyatt before because my family works in the company. But this specific branch did not make the stay and first impression feel welcoming. I booked a double bed room because my sister and law and me would share a bed and my mother in law on the other double bed. Not only did they say we could not check in the front desk agent wanted commission and tried to upsell me a suite for an extra whopping $200 dollars. I could not check in due to me being early on check in which is acceptable and understandable we said we would roam the area while they prepare the room. Now being almost 6 pm exhausted from our flight and tired roaming and expecting our vacation to be nice only to find out that our room is still not ready. I am highly disappointed with the service and for sure will not stay at this property in the future.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. While we only stayed one night we were extremely impressed with the hotel, our room and the service. Roger was exceptional, making sure we had everything we need. The young man at the reception the morning of our departure (Nov 2), was very helpful in getting us a taxi and helping with our bags. The gentleman at the 5th floor member lounge was also very attentive. The location is a bit of a distance from the city center but fit our needs as we used it on the last night due to its proximity to the airport. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed though I will admit that I missed having a bidet. We enjoyed our breakfast, too. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We stayed for 4 nights in one of the suites on the 24th floor, which boasted beautiful views of the city and a stunning spacious room. The room exceeded our expectations, with all of the necessary amenities, high-tech features (Chromecast, button-controlled blinds, etc) and high-quality products to enjoy throughout our stay. It was definitely designed with care and style in mind, as it was truly stunning. The hotel itself is home to a restaurant and bar, and also offers a lot of room service options if you’re looking for a comfortable meal in your room! The staff are really warm and welcoming too and will go out of their way to help you with your bags, transport arrangements, etc. Although this is a little off the beaten track for Barcelona and you’ll need to use public transport or grab a taxi to get to some of the hotspots in the city, if you’re looking for a little bit of luxury, I couldn’t recommend staying here more. The quality of the hotel, services and our room really made up for the distance.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Barcelona for two days and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel's service and amenities were top-notch. A standout feature was the massive LED screen near the lobby, which I've never seen anywhere else. It added a unique and modern touch to the overall ambiance. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Barcelona.

Soaring Above Expectations at Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower From the moment I approached the striking silhouette of the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower against the city skyline, I knew my stay would be memorable. The hotel's architecture is a triumph, seamlessly blending modern design with luxurious comfort. The check-in process was a breeze, with staff members that were the epitome of professionalism and warmth. My room on the 23rd floor offered an awe-inspiring view of Barcelona, framing the bustling city against the tranquil Mediterranean Sea. The attention to detail in the room’s decor was evident, with every amenity carefully selected to ensure comfort and style. The bed was a cloud of comfort, enveloping me after a day of exploration. Dining at the hotel was a culinary journey, with the local cuisine shining brightly. Each dish was a masterpiece, as visually stunning as it was delicious, complementing the extensive wine selection that captured the essence of Spain. The amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center and a serene spa, catered to every need. I found the spa to be an oasis of tranquility, offering treatments that rejuvenated both body and soul. Service throughout the hotel was impeccable; the staff anticipated every need with a discreet presence that was both comforting and impressive. Their recommendations for local attractions and dining were spot-on, enhancing my experience of the city. Leaving the hotel felt like parting with a dear friend. The Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower is not just a hotel; it is a beacon of hospitality that truly makes its mark on Barcelona. Whether for business or pleasure, this hotel promises a stay that is nothing short of extraordinary.

An amazing hotel with incredible facilities! The staff were friendly and helpful! The breakfast area included a wide variety of food, all of which were very tasty! The room was spacious with window-walls offering a breathtaking view of the city! The hotel also offered a wide variety of amenities in the room. The food of the Terrum restaurant was delicious, a truly unique experience! The cocktails of the Skyfall bar were also well prepared, unique and delicious!

Excellent quality Hyatt. Rooms are well appointed and the lobby area has great architectural details. However, its location is poor for anyone wanting to visit Barcelona. it is convenient to the airport, but not to the city itself. Views from the top floors are spectacular. The breakfast restaurant is quite nice and somewhat reasonable at 26 euros/pp.

It's a bit further from the town centre (probably around 20 min drive) but other than that it's a beautiful hotel. I was on a business trip so I don't know much about the prices but then that's something what you can easily find out. I would say, well worth the money. 😊

Comfortable rooms. Clean and well stocked. Friendly staff. Good location for where I needed to be, bit not very close to a lot of the places to visit and sight see. The "gym" is a 20x25 room that is below surface, hot and not very well equipped. The pool is about 2.5 to 3 feet deep but nice to wade in. Everything else was great. Breakfast was three meals in one!

If you have layover and need to get to airport early in the morning then it’s a good choice other than that it’s too far away from city. The bed is not so comfortable as compare to other 5 star hotels but the room is clean and bathroom is Fancy and spacious. The front office staff ( Marc ) is very kind helpful . We lost our Iwatch charger and a cosmetic product ( eyebrow gel from benefit) and wrote hotel an email but until now no any answer .

This is the hands down the best hotel I have ever been to! Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is so clean, not to mention absolutely beautiful and tons to do. When we first got to the hotel the airport had lost our luggage and we were devastated. There were two people in particular that really helped us get through that experience. Mary and Roger made everything better. We got our luggage three days later but if it weren't for them being so kind and giving and helpful the trip just wouldn't have been as great. I’m so thankful for them and will always come back to this hotel and highly recommend it. Thank you again, Angela + Chris

Don't forget to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This website will compare thousands of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you definitely won't regret it. First time in Barcelona. I WILL be staying here anytime I come back. Adrian and Rodrigo, well pretty much all the staff have been amazing! I can honestly say this is one of the best hotel stays I've had. If you see Rodrigo tell him that Real Madrid is the best team :)

We stayed here in March and were very impressed with the room and the service. - The room: The duplex was spacious with a great jacuzzi and views, the room was clean and modern. We appreciated the 15 nozzle jet stream shower situation. Only thing to note is that on the high floors, music from the club upstairs can be loud and heard from the hallways (though not inside the rooms). - The location: Very convenient to the airport, but a bit more difficult to get to the city center and to the coast. We stayed at a hotel in the city center for a few days and it was vastly more convenient for exploring the city, and probably preferable especially if you are here for night life. The metro stop was close by so it is not an issue, but you may find yourself Ubering if you are out late on a weeknight. - The guests: Funnily enough, the most amount of American people I ever saw in Spain was in the beach clubs and in the Regency Club. - The service: Roger at the Regency Club made us feel very welcomed; he remembered names and faces every time! He even arranged us a late checkout at 3 without us asking. Although the rooms were nice, Roger's impeccable service is why we will return.

ABOVE ALL, GO YOUR WAY! I have rarely traveled to such a catastrophic hotel. entry into the clean and beautiful looking room. but the bed is a horror, my back is blocked with this feeling of having slept on an iron bar, so the holidays are off to a good start!!. lack of hygiene in the room. Soundproofed room we hear loud music most of the night and the comings and goings of people laughing in the corridors. the restaurant is to be banned, the waitress is very nice but the food is very expensive and not good! We ordered the Barcelona paella for two people: we were given a tiny plate of burnt and salted rice++++ that was inedible! increased compassion on the part of the waitress who was content to ignore our remarks. ZERO STARS FOR MY STAY WASTED BECAUSE OF THE BED WHICH DESTROYED MY BACK, THE NOISE WHICH PREVENTED US FROM SLEEPING AND THE NOT GOOD FOOD. I can't wait to go home

The staff was wonderful. We loved our room, the King Deluxe Suite, I think. There were some signs of age, but I am sure that is something they are working on fixing. The layout and comfort made up for any signs of wear. The breakfast was amazing, also. We were very happy with our selection.

Our flight was canceled and we had to find a hotel. We were well received. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfect and the breakfast was delicious. We had to wait a long time for our next flight so we were allowed to go to a relax room.

Spotlessly clean and had everything I need. I only stayed for 1 night to flight back to the US after a work trip but throughout enjoy the bar, restaurant, setting, rooms. Great service from the front desk attendant as well. Highly recommend

Went to this hotel because Ryanair cancelled our flight home at 22pm in the evening! Looked for a hotel near the airport. When we arrived we were absolutely on cloud 7 after a long day waiting at the airport! Nice room, big bed, couch to sleep on, bath robes everything we needed! The next day the staff send us to a relax room where we could sit and wait for our flight in the evening. This spot offered free drinks, chips, candy, tv,… i definitely recommend this place for sure!!!

Simply fabulous stay! We’ve been few days in town with the family and we really enjoyed the hotel: the staff is super friendly and supportive, location is excellent and……and the view from the last floor is STUNNING! As well the rooms are quite spacious and cleanliness is top quality. Definitely if we’ll come again to Barcelona we’ll stay here

Great rooms and lovely staff. Slightly strange location (you need a taxi to get anywhere) and felt the lack of service to the rooms (eg minibar only had two bottles of water). Tea and coffee making set up was poor.

Hyatt Regency Tower Hotel stayed here for a couple of nights and you feel how this is a cut above any four star I want say special thanks to Adrian at the reception, who checked I was checking on my birthday and time and again checked on me if I needed something, even when I was in the room called me a few times to see if I needed something Not to mention the thoughtful card and cake that they sent. Secondly floor manager called Ali who was at breakfast was an immesnly polite and hospitable manager. The service he provided was impeccable. The rooms were excellent and fragrant. The bathrooms and the shower system was probably my most favourite ever. All in all highly recommended place to stay

I had a fabulous 4nt stay. The staff without exception were great and called me by my first name. The room (duplex city suite) was perfect. The lounge was nicely appointed and reasonably stocked outside of their happy hour. Location is strictly business focused. You will be getting on the Metro (L1 last stop) but that is a 300m 3m walk away. They definitely know how to treat a Globalist. Looking forward to returning in November.

  • 5/5 Doug G. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful stay! At check-in, Rodrigo assisted us. Wow, what an impression he made. I had to wait a few minutes as he was helping other guests and it wasn't very long and totally acceptable. He offered me a drink as I waited. Rodrigo then confirmed my Globalist reservation and told me he'd get me a good room with a good view. He then called someone really quick, and in a few minutes, Alberto (director of Operations) came to welcome me and offer his assistance for anything I needed. Rodrigo then completed the reservation and helped with luggage and showed us to our room. It was an amazing view, large room and very comfortable. The hotel was in great shape and very welcoming. The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport on the city bus - just a 10 minute ride. There is a nice park right next to the hotel with walking trails. We had to leave early the next morning before breakfast was ready in the restaurant/club but Rodrigo had a "to-go" bag ready for us. Both Rodrigo and Alberto went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Rodrigo and Alberto anticipated our every need and were ready to help with any need. Every employee we came in contact with were happy to help and very pleasant. We wished we were staying longer, and will definitely stay there again if ever in Barcelona.

It's a beautiful hotel. The rooms are luxurious, covered in black granite and glass. The restaurant there is fine dining and fairly expensive. The food was exceptionally good. Unfortunately, I wouldn't bring children there. The granite floors are unsafe, as is the granite floor shower. I slipped in one. The whole building, especially the landing on each floor, is warm as it's covered in glass. If you can, get an EVEN NUMBERED ROOM, as they are on the North side of the hotel. I had a room in the south side and the AC struggled to get below 24°C. The elevator touch screen system does not function well. I believe that Hyatt purchased this hotel recently and some of the branding throughout hasn't fully changed. The side of the hotel is labeled "Hesperia." This may account for some of the systems not being up to their usual standards.

I stayed here back in 2016 for a week when the hotel was called Hisperia Tower Hotel Barcelona and it was a lovely stay! I can’t recommend this hotel enough, beautiful, clean and luxurious rooms, beautiful views, and the staff are super friendly. Air conditioned, great atmosphere, good transport links to the underground metro trains. The food is pricey but it’s a 5-Star hotel so expect the in-house food to cost. It’s close to the beach and overall a great location.

  • 4/5 Paul Algarve L. 1 year ago on Google
Very modern and superb rooms. Go for one the top floors with a city view. The restaurant is excellent, the breakfast has a vast choice. Like many hotels staff are very limited but go out of their way to help. With proper staffing levels it would be a 5 star hotel. Don't pay the extra for 'club' access. It's poor in terms of whats on offer. The management would do well to look at the likes of the Sherston Prague who have a superb club lounge for the top floors. We would return to this hotel. Avoid the Gourmet Experience offer. We paid for it but the reception staff knew nothing about the offer so offered us complimentary breakfast instead. Not quite the same thing

I stayed at the Hyatt Barcelona in September 2022. There was a problem when I checked in at the hotel as the room did not match the type of room that I already checked in with using the Hyatt app. I expressed concerns to the front desk agent but then Mr Alberto Falsetta stepped in and not only provided us the original room that I checked in with but exceeded our expectations with excellent service! He personally carried our suitcases to our room, ensured that we were happy with the room, gave us champagne and other wonderful amenities. This was a truly enjoyable and memorable stay!

The rooms are very nice, but a lot of things in this hotel are not how you would expect them to be in a 5-star hotel. For example the food and the service. They were 'okayish', but in a 5-star hotel I simply expect more. The elevators are a huge mess to the point I wanted to take the stairs to the 10th floor (which I wasn't allowed because there are no stairs for guests to use). I will not go back.

this is the best hospitality i’ve received at a hotel that i can remember (and i stayed at 5-star hotels for my entire two week trip). every single interaction with any member of staff was 10/10 excellent. the hotel physically splits the difference between the city and the airport, so if you need to be close to the airport (which i did) this is perfect. they upgraded my room free of charge when i checked in which was so kind. it was rather late when i arrived so i just ate at the hotel. the staff were incredibly accommodating (and all food allergens are clearly labeled). they even sent a glass of wine and a bottle of water up to my room for me. the next morning i had a flat white on my way into the city and it was delicious. i’m so happy i stayed there.

We stayed here for 7 days and really enjoyed the large and clean room, the excellent services, and the wonderful breakfast. The Metro line is right next to the hotel and it takes about 20-25 min to get to city center. There is no shuttle bus to the airport and a taxi ride should be around 20 euro.

We spent a fantastic few days here in early September. The staff were great!! I'd especially like to thank the girls at reception Samira and Laura, who made the stay in Barcelona much easier and made everything in the hotel very convenient.

Very nice hotel. Service is great. The morning buffet is very good with a number of different options. For our family of four, we had interjoining rooms. The bathroom has a nice rain shower. The room was clean, but you can tell that the property has a lot of visitor - small scratches or dents in paint/tile. The hotel is a short walk to the metro station (the last station on one of the lines) and a 15 - 20 metro ride to the center of Barcelona. Overall, a very good hotel IMO.

The staff makes this hotel great, from check in/reception we were greeted warmly by Mary and appreciated her professional and kind service. Then to the lounge with Roger, who helped us with restaurants and transportation, and securing a quiet work room. At every moment we have had an incredible experience with the staff here. Very close to the airport for our quick trip for part of our group, and always a taxi available outside. They offer connecting rooms which is helpful traveling with kids, too.
