Customer service: Superb , the customer service here is a breath of fresh air in Barcelona, I had a request and they were able to facilitate it in a short time. They were also very friendly. Food: the quality was good, however the portions were a bit small. There was also not much variety on the menu. The lobster roll was the best in my opinion the California roll did lack a bit of flavour Ambience: this place seems to be a delivery spot but has incorporated a few seats to accommodate customers, I usually don’t like the smell of fish but because of the set up of the I place wasn’t able to escape it. With that being said I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place because it has potential really improve.

Never disappoints. Fast service and great sushi. Only issue is lack of comfortable seating but I guess it gives it a sense of exclusivity as there is a maximum low number of patrons at any time.

Really really great food. Chef is Professional,the staff are friendly and explain every dish to you as well as recommendations. Although a bit small for a restaurant, it ensures 1 to 1 attention and a confined experience. The wagyu sushi was honestly the best thing I have ever eaten in my life!!! Would definitely recommend booking!!!

On Saturday, my husband and I visited this small and lovely restaurant. The taste of the dishes, the service, the courtesy of the staff, the convenience of booking: all this is 10/10. A wonderful place, we definitely recommend it and will definitely come back again!

When we first walked in we were met with professional team and a great atmosphere. The music was amazing and so was the food. We were 2 people and ordered: The salmon sashimi with ponzu sauce The spicy tuna futomaki Edemame x2 The spicy shrimp roll x2 The total came out to 35€ each including drinks. All the food was plenty to fill us up! If you are looking for good sushi then Jara is the place! Thank you for a great time

So lucky to get a reservation here on our last day in Barcelona!! Honestly our top favorite meal of our trip. The best sushi, nigiri and sashimi I’ve ever had. And I’ve been to Japan. Who knew we would find delicious sushi in Spain. Family owned business, the owner is one of the sushi chefs and his family also works in the restaurant. Only 11 seats in the space so definitely get a reservation! We got the tasting menu $70 Euros per person and totally worth the price. We’ve paid double that in the USA, and not nearly as good or as much food as this. We got two tasting menus, a bottle of wine and two extra plates for $184 euros. Totally worth it!! Fish was so fresh, zero fishy taste. And it is tender and melts in your mouth. The flavors used are simple, but make a flavor explosion. Even the edamame was unique. The rice itself was perfect and balanced to the fish ratio. Will always recommend this place, and wish the owners the best and hope they expand!

Tiny place that seats only a few people, but we felt very welcome on a Saturday night. Enjoyed some very fresh and tasty sushi made by skillful and fun people who take pride in what they do. Recommended!

If you are looking for one of the best food experiences you could ever have, Jara is definitely the place to go. Extremely fresh fish, with an amazing selection of cuts and combination, which gave me the best Sushi experience I had ever had. The service was incredible, every plate was thoughtfully explained, and there are very few places, so we received an outstanding service. Will definitely go back once I go back to Barcelona and this is a MUST go place if you are looking for an amazing sushi experience or want to celebrate a special occasion.

Awesome food, great value for money ! This is the best Japanese Take Way in Barcelona, for ever and ever. Beautiful taste and quality. I wished they could do some promotions now and again (during the week, especialy on Friday nigth) but maybe is better if they don't, otherwise I would be always ordering. Delicious and fresh food every time! We are fairly far away in distance and still keep returning for collection.

We are so sad we aren't from Barcelona or we would come back to Jara all the time! Be sure to make a reservation or order takeout, as this is a small restaurant. We eat sushi about once a week, and have tried it in so many places, so I can certainly say that the quality of fish selection and chef's style of preparation are wonderful. Service was very customer oriented and they were so nice to us, even though we don't speak enough Spanish. I noticed another American couple receive the same treatment. It seems that locals also love this place, and I understand why! I would recommend it to anyone. Please see my photos of our beautiful meal.

The sushi was wonderful! The service exceptional! Robby, Francisco, and Wilman all attend to us. They were all friendly and if you want to learn more about sushi, Robby is your guy. I ask a lot of questions, and he was a willing wealth of knowledge. This is a relatively new sushi restaurant in Barcelona which opened during the pandemic, but give them a few more months and you’ll find it tough to get a table. They already seems to be the best rated sushi restaurant in Barcelona and certainly well deserved!There are only enough spots for 8 so book in advance! I’m American but have lived in Barcelona for 8 years and glad I finally found a go to sushi place! Great job, guys!!
