Everything about our stay here was fabulous. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean (cleaned twice a day), large comfy bed, couldn't hear any noise from elsewhere. Coffee machine and daily treats were a nice touch. We had a private pool room but if we came back, we wouldn't bother as we only used it a couple of times and would book a first floor room. The main pool experience was perfect. Lots of cabanas sun beds and bean bags, no need to worry about getting up early to secure one (you're not allowed to reserve them by leaving personal belongings on them anyway, which is good in my opinion). Two pools, one heated with a swim up bar, one not. Relaxing acoustic background music playing. Discreet staff to serve you drinks and food. We were half-board and the food was amazing, probably the best we've had in a hotel. You can use 3 other restaurants around the harbour which we did once but regretted wasting a night in the hotel restaurant as the food wasn't all that. Breakfast choice is brilliant but the evening food is stunning. The restaurant is in the basement and there is a small outdoor courtyard but there is no view to speaknof at all although that didn't bother us in the slightest because the ambiance was great. You have to book a time slot for the evening when you go down for breakfast and they stagger the number of people so it never feels too crowded. What makes the place is the staff. All the staff were friendly and helpful but Marta and Genny in the restaurant were exceptional. Really attentive but not intrusive, making suggestions when asked and making you feel very welcome. All in all, a perfectly relaxing stay which is just what we were after but it exceeded our expectations.

Overall quite disappointing and not a 5* hotel in my view The good Breakfast is wonderful, staff attentive and food is excellent with a wide and decent choice The rooms (staying in a pool room) are modern and well maintained - I like the eco theme and bidet toilet, showers, wooden features and ambiance bonus for the huge bed! The hotel aims for the right things but falls short on a few items. The not so good Our pool was not clean on arrival and was not cleaned during our stay Check in was not pleasant - once we presented our passports we were informed we had to pay tourist tax - no problem, but whilst we were filling in forms and being told about the resort we were told 3 times we needed to pay the tax - I had to say hold on, no issue paying it just wanted to complete the forms and then pay! I felt this was really pushy. Once check in complete we were offered a welcome drink - nice but most other 5* do this first and then do the check in. By the time they offered the drink we just wanted to get to our room - over all the check in process let the hotel down. The sunbeds Saw a few arguments over people "reserving beds" hotel staff just not interested. Although there are little signs on the beds around the pool saying you can't reserve I've noticed many others putting towels down prior to breakfast and then not coming to bed until several hours later. The bed next to us today although someone had put towels down was unoccupied all morning - the hotel is not enforcing the policy and I've noted several frustrated people try to find suitable sitting areas with shade. The bar staff do not walk around the beds seeing it anyone wants a drink / clearing up old glasses etc, this goes hand in hand with enforcing people not to hold bed spaces. We sat down at the far end and didn't see a single member of staff come down from 9.30-1.30 Room cleaning has been good but very late - often after 2pm - slightly annoying to be waiting if you want to rest out of the heat and the rooms being cleaned so late. I don't want to be too harsh, the resort is nice and I do believe it has the right intentions, however if I compare it to other 5* resorts we have stayed in this year alone it lacks some of the quality and training (prices being equal). If you want the recommendations and real 5* ratings there are some improvements that need to be made.

A perfect break away in Menorca. The facilities here leave you with enough to do if you are more active, with lovely walks, sea swims (5 min walk from the lovely beach) marina walks, and boat trips easily accessible. If all you need is to chill by a pool and receive excellent service, then this is also your place. It is adults only, so very very peaceful. The hotel itself is beautiful, pared back in design, but everything modern you could need. The staff are exceptional, the hardest workers and yet seem very genuine. The food is amazing, and between the Suites and the Arena resort, the best food in the area. I would recommend you book half board. It's a 45 min cab journey (70eur ) from the airport, but don't let that put you off. It was well worth the drive. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Amazing welcome and overall experience in the hotel. The interest toward sustainability is clear from architecture choices to food and waste management. The pool is very cool, as the suites, the cleanliness and the whole services. Staff super kind. One comment: despite being widely highlighted in the pool, premium sunbeds are always occupied with towels and other personal items by people that leave it there at 9 am and stay away for hours. Remove the rule or find a way to observe it.

We loved this end of September trip where we stayed at Suites del Lago Resort. The hotel is very nice and there are plenty of amenities to relax. The staff has always been very friendly. The period of the year was great as it was not full of people and we were able to rest and recharge the batteries. Highly recommended to have a car and travel around the island rather than staying only in the hotel area.

We spent a week here in September 2023 and would really recommend this hotel. It’s an oasis of calm and style in what is otherwise quite a touristy, mass market type small resort. Staff are excellent, there are multiple small restaurants, the pool area is really nicely done, breakfasts are very good. Particular shout out to Genny, our breakfast waitress who greeted us with a smile every morning, and to Luis and Pedro at reception who patiently answered all our questions.

My boyfriend & I thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. Cleanliness and comfort was of a very high standard. We will definitely return and absolutely recommend our stay to friends and family. Great hospitality. Each member of staff were extra attentive but we would especially like to thank Cristina from the experience department. Cristina has a very warm aura & is a great addition to your hotel. Thanks Cristina, and thanks again to all staff.

Absolute stunning hotel! We had one of the big and beautiful suites facing the pool. The breakfast was very tasty, with a wide range of options to choose from. The staff was always super friendly. The hotel restaurants are pricey, but especially the Peruvian restaurant was fantastic. Unfortunately some guests reserved spots in the pool area by placing towels, which is officially not allowed in this hotel. Also, even though the hotel claims to be eco friendly, our towels were being exchanged (even if we asked them to not change them yet), which was a waste of resources.

What a truly beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were looked after, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable, towels changed twice a day and they also supply you with beach/ pool towels, saving you from taking your own. We were half board and was not disappointed breakfast was amazing and dinner fabulous. You always had access to a sun bed which is a real bonus. We really must thank Candy, Suzanna, Nadia, Marta, Stephanie, Jean Paul, Josephine, Alex, Melanie, Marcus, Daniela, Juan, Mateus, Ashish, apologies if we have missed anyone you were all wonderful. Look forward to seeing you all on our return, every staff member was helpful but I would like to say a special thanks to Cristina from the experience department for the lovely recommendations she is a real credit to the hotel.
