I stayed at this hostel during my visit to Barcelona between 10-12 September 2022. I stayed here for couple of nights. It is very affordable hostel as a bed in 10 dorms room costed me around€24 for one night, but I booked it almost 3 months before my visit. The hostel has kitchen, living room, reception, indoor games room. All of them are very neat and clean. They are simple, painted in yellow. Note: For a room lock they ask for €5 deposit or you have to submit your id. The receptionist and overall staff is nice and helpful. The location is decent, but be aware while roaming in the late night, if you are a solo traveler like me. You can stay here if you are on a budget. The Nawaaz restaurant and Camp Nou FC Barcelona are just 500 meters away, which is a very good thing. The metro station and bus station are also within 500 meters range.

Great hostel, honestly I didn't expect a hostel to be so clean! There are plenty daily activities, free entry to clubs and sometimes they even give out free drinks at the bars! The price you pay each night is definitely worth it and I will come back one day after I'm leaving. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Cooled drinks for just €1 if your thirsty, which is amazing! They even provide free family dinner to eat together and that 6 times a week! Anyone that gives a 1 star review must be a troll or they just had bad roommates, but if thats the case go to the staff and don't give a 1 star review.

This is one of my favorite hostels that I've ever stayed at! There was a great group of people here (guests and employees alike) while I was in Barcelona, and that certainly helps. However, they do some awesome activities that really help them stand out as well. -They cook a huge paella dinner for guests once a week (I believe it was on Thursdays when I was there). Fantastic food with plenty to eat and good company. -They have guided tours around town to teach some of Barcelona's history. I found this very interesting. -And, the hostel hosts a guided bar crawl to some clubs along the beach on the weekends. Plus, the basement has a game room, a shared kitchen, a lounge area, a movie room, and a small bar. It's located a ways away from many of the attractions downtown, but there is a metro stop nearby. The location is GREAT if you will be going to games, though. Camp Nou is a very short walk down the street. I highly recommend Yellow Nest.

Staff is very friendly, always eager to help. The place was clean, and they try their best to make sure people are quiet at night. There is water filter, and luggage storage where only the staff has access to the keys. Security was good, there’s a code at the front door. They also have daily family dinners and have activities planned together. Shower water temperature was a little bit inconsistent but overall a great experience.

Awesome hostel! Friendly personnel, they have big kitchen, you can play table tennis and billiard/table pool. Good rooms, 2 things I didn’t like as much first problem was not enough charging points but that was only in the first room, in the next they had tons of extenders so i could fill my phone and power bank by my bed. Second problem was not in their power nothing to do if people snore HARD in the first room this guy snored hard and they moved me to another room to save the problem, and then there was this other guy that snored even harder I couldn’t believe was i this lucky to get people that snore loud… but yeah you just don’t get quality sleep if someone snores so loud they wake them selves up in the middle of the night and don’t reckon they just fall back asleep… If they could have a room for people that never snore or are alergic to snoring those sleep together or a room for people that snore real loud… In the end love the hostel lovely place with lovely workers that always help with whatever question you have.

Hello, following our stay the night of the 7th of May, I called multiple times and asked to talk to the manager. If you don't call me I'll upload the pictures of the room we slept in (spoiler: it wasn't a bedroom, as ours was overcrowded and filthy).

Went to Barca for 3 days. All of them stayed here and it was really nice. Super warm and welcoming atmosphere. Amazing terrace and place for hanging out (with pool, table tennis, picado and mini football). They surprisingly also orginize day trips, events, drinking games, everything for free. I truly recommend it to every traveller who is staying for a few days in Barcelona

It is a super lively hostel and I loved my stay a lot. There is such a nice community sense, if you prefer that. I felt very welcome!

I don’t expect much from hostels usually, but this hostel was the best I’ve ever stayed at. Staff are friendly and approachable and you get free vegetarian dinners and clubbing with the staff. The services are also wonderful and convenient. Location wise it is 30 min train from center city but def worth it :)

Staff was so kind and had so many awesome events planned. Marcos was the best host and always talkative. Rooms were clean and easy to use with USB and outlets in each bed

This place is amazing, the people that work here are lovely, the terrace is amazing, so are all the communal area's, the free family dinners and nights out. Definitly a party hostel, so it's loads of fun and I advice anyone to go here when they are in Barcelona.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I had been at onefam sungate hostel in Madrid and really liked the atmosphere, staff and facilities but here I was not happy with my experience. Firstly when i arrived I didn't receive a full tour of the place and got a very minimal explanation. Secondly I didn't receive help lifting my heavy luggage up to my room. I didn't like the design of the place. Very basic without color and liveliness. In addition there was no heating operating in my room during many hours of the night and this was christmas time and winter. The room was very cold and needs a better heating system...

The staff is super nice and incredibly helpful! Just stayed for 3 nights in a shared room with 10 people. Sounds like a lot but it really didn't feel like that. Bathrooms were clean and pleasant. The kitchen was great, big and spacious, you can cook whatever you want. The common areas were nice and spacious. Internet works well

I like that the bars/ nightclubs and all other activities are almost 100% included in the stay! There’s even a free dinner!! The bathrooms are too small and there’s only 2 toilets for over ~30 guys. The noise isolation isn’t great but once the room’s door is closed it’s much better. The receptionists are very sociable and quick!

Very comfortable rooms with privacy curtains. Clean bathrooms. The hostel organizes free daily activities and even a free home-cooked community dinner every night. I was very impressed. Highly recommend. It’s located a little further away from the city center, which I actually thought was a plus because you get to experience authentic Barcelona.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever been to! Staff was very friendly (specially Rebecca and Thais) and made the stay very pleasant, facilities were pretty modern and cozy, there’s free dinner… They organise many events together with other Onefam hostels in Bcn and go on trips, clubbing… I had the chance to meet amazing people. Really good experience!

Not the best place. Even for that price you can find something closer to city center. Breakfast menu can be wider. Also, had some issue with payment for breakfast. Better order it at the place. Good thing - friends staff. No complains.

Clean, but you have to pay for everything. Today, 2022 is expensive for a hostel. However, it is a convenient place to sleep since it is close to transportation, bars, restaurants, and other places.

This is the first time I stay in hostel. First the checked in my space was taken, I have to take whatever is available. The AC was not on, so the room smells a little. I need to go to the counter again to ask him come turn it on. The second night was the same only the AC was on. The third night was even worst, no space for me I was changed to other room and the key was not working. I need to go back down again twice to get my key back. And go down twice to ask him to turn on the AC . Which he came turn on but left it only breeze but the air was not cold. I got tired of go back down again. That night I didn’t sleep well. What I am trying to say is the service is just so passive. And the reservation need to be more accurately. Should be no reason to take whatever is available!

Wonderfully clean and comfy hostel but not very fun. Staff were helpful and easy to find but most were not very friendly. We were satisfied but bored with our stay. If you’re looking for a social atmosphere and nightlife then this hostel is not for you.

First time coming here as a foreigner at 2019 and it was first time I've seen underground cafeteria inside hostel with karaoke, kitchen, vending machine, and computer. This hostel located near Camp Nou. Their receptionist was friendly and didn't forget to warn us for be quiet 👍👍. They also have hairdryer in their bathroom. But I always confused there are no sign "where is the bathroom or kitchen", or maybe I didn't see that because it was the first time I came.

I feel bad to have given only two stars for my experience here. So let me start by saying that I found all the people working here to be lovely, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately my negative impression of this hostel is because of two issues which are closely related. Firstly, the air-conditioning in the room that I stayed in had some kind of problem which caused it to be really noisy and made sleeping difficult. I actually suffered the least, but my room mates were not happy. The tried to fix the problem themselves, but to no avail. Secondly, the air-conditioning was freezing cold! I got sick because of it. I understand that in sharing a space there is a compromise to be made with others who may have felt warmer than I did. What I really didn't like is the fact that anyone could just go to the reception and ask for the temperature control and adjust the air-con to their own liking. The amount of the times the temperature went up and down over the week was really irritating. I would have preferred if staff at the hostel set the temperature to something reasonable for the majority of people staying in the rooms.

Amazing hostel! The staff were very nice and went above and beyond to help us out. They have a luggage room to leave your bags before or after check in and check out. There is a full kitchen, lots of areas so hang out and meet people and a 24 hour reception. The beds are comfy and clean and there are lockers in the rooms as well. AND GREAT WIFI ALL OVER THE HOSTEL! Definitely recommend!!

There were about 53 students aged 12 to 16 staying in this hostel at the same time as me who were similar to rabid animals. The children were screaming, slamming doors, cursing, throwing things and fighting. This went on for four days. I thought you had to be 18 or older to stay at this hostel. Worst hostel experience of my trip. Kind and helpful staff, okay location, comfortable bedding, but no enforcement of quiet hours.

Very good Hostel - probably the best I've been to. Comfortable, clean, good value with very very nice staff (knows English). It is worth checking the location because it is not the best The rooms are large and comfortable. Bathrooms clean and with basic cosmetics available. The kitchen is well equipped. The dining room is large and comfortable. Living room equipped with table football, ping pong table, table football.

If you want to sleep, this is not the hostel. You can hear a pin drop here. The amenities would make up for the issue, but they are also what cause it. My room was right above the game room, and it was extremely noisy until at least midnight. Loud music, people screaming/screeching. Constant banging around too. On my last night, a large school group showed up and were extremely loud. This was not ideal when I had to wake up early to fly. This was my least favorite hostel. Could've been a 3/5, but the noise was too much.

I stayed here multiple days and had a great time, met new friends and got an overall great experience of Barcelona. Also they have very friendly and helpful staff that speak English very well. Would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Barcelona. There were cleaning staff cleaning the place everyday and it all seemed very clean for a hostel. Much cleaner than i expected it to be. It was also very reasonably priced and was very good value for money.

This hostel has such a good vibe, with really nice staff that makes you feel at home. First time interrailers and we felt nervous at first, but they were so welcoming and helpful, recommending places to eat, how to use the metro and so on. Really nice rooms to hang out in and clean and nice rooms to sleep in. My only wish is that there were more outlets closer to the beds. But love it!

Staff in general were rude & not professional at all. When you asked them to put the Air conditioned on, I was given a bad response by the general manager who told me to leave the hostel after 2 min of checking in if I wasn't happy about the dorm temperature (it was very hot in Barcelona, 35°C) . That was not a nice welcome into a place where you have paid to stay. I found the rooms not to have good ventilation, the only window in the dorm was like the one in a prison, tiny & crated. The cleaners were quite good. There was a atrong smell of barnice in the living room and not good ventilation down there. I was put in a small 8-bed dorm with very little room for 8 people to open their suitcases. I didn't like that I was asked all sorts of questions by the general manager at my check in, which I didn't mind answering, but didn't find it professional. Location is good, not far from new camp. Only 1 female toilet per floor.

This was my first time ever in a hostel, and it was definitely a great experience. I’m not talking about the facilities there because everything was fine, but I’m talking about the staff; Stephi’s kindness an amazing girl who I met the first time at 2am doing the check-in, and literally fell in love with her heart, when she asked me are you from Italy? I said yes and she was I can speak a little bit of Italian, to start speaking fluently😂 The day after I was welcomed by Simona with a very warm smile and a beautiful Buongiorno that made feel home right away, to discover later that this girl is one of the most understanding and kind hearted people. Then I met Mario, a great guy who handled me and my friend very well in a hard situation, and I’m so grateful to him for this. Then Álvaro, the most funny and easygoing there, but at the same time a person that anyone would love to have as a friend for his support and great advices. Then César, who I think has only kindness in his heart, because of the way he treats everyone he meets. And last Miguel, very intelligent who has a very wide background about many things. I thank them for every beautiful moment spent together, which made my experience unforgettable in this amazing city, and I wish them the brightest future, and hope to see them soon! Take care guys🤍

We were on our way to the airport when pur flight was cancelled. Went spontaneously to this Hostel and they had beds for us. Perfect for what we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We made fun conversation with Mario, Juan, Marcos and others. They didn't hesitate to help us when we needed help with directions, our amenities and were flexible when we wanted to book an extra night! (And thanks to Mario for helping us 20 times a day with the airco 😅) The rooms and bathrooms were clean. And they were cleaned daily. This is the perfect location to discover the city, go out to party (the pub crawl put on by the hostel is worth it!) or find some new friends. The hostel is a wonderful setting to memories and laughs that'll last us until the next time we visit!! Much love, Ellen and Sophia

Really great hostel! The staff were helpful and available. The room was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped and big enough for the amount of guests. The best but was the big communal dining area and the roof terrace 😍 which created a really easy way to get chatting with people! I met some lovely travellers and had a awesome stay 😁
