Dived with Buceo Hispania for an Open Water Diver Course recently, I was very impressed with their location (Port Olympic, looking over playa Nova Icaria) and how you can get the full course done over a weekend without leaving the city! Oscar and Pau were very knowledgeable and friendly, and accommodating with the dive dates once they had some notice beforehand. Cheers guys.

Did the PADI open water course over the weekend with Oscar. A memory you will never forget. A fun time is guaranteed with Oscars open and bubbly personality, but mostly - he made me feel extremely comfortable under water, was quick to help and understood your struggles as a first time diver. He is an excellent teacher and I will definitely head back to gain some more experience from the professional divers. 10/10 recommend (he's also an amazing photographer and I am thankful those moments were captured for me)

We visited Buceo Hispania Barcelona early this month to do a divers course. In summary, the place and people were brilliant. If you are a family with teenagers like ours, you will love the place. The facilities were great. Gerard and Oscar are such good people, we already love them. We felt safe all the time - something very important when you are upto something like diving. The whole experience really was so much fun. The first day at diving is not easy but Gerard is a genius when it comes to training diving. The skills he taught us are not easy to teach at all. But on Day 3, we felt like confident divers coasting at about 10 meters under sea level next to him with full confidence. If you are thinking about diving, look no further. This is the place.

Very happy with the whole experience, I felt safe and I learned a lot from all the instructors who make you feel like one of the family. Thank you for everything and I'm sure we'll see you soon ;)

I passed my PADI Open Water certification with Buceo Hispania in Barcelona and I don't regret it at all. Oscar and his team made everything great. At first I was a bit nervous about it but the staff was amazing ! They spoke Spanish and English (even a little bit of French) perfectly and the communication was very easy. They made sure we understood everything and that we were doing the exercising well. The dives were great in the port of Barcelona (super well located and very easy to go) and we saw a good amount of sea life. Oscar even took great pictures of me ! Now I can dive anywhere in the world thanks to them. I totally recommend it and would come back to practise diving again.

Oscar and team are the best instructor you can have. Easy to learn but focus on your safety and transmitting calmness "the mother of the scuba diving" I been told ...super recommended. Thank you guys you are the best.

I took the PADI course with Oscar and, honestly, I didn't expect everything to be so easy. You can tell that he masters the subject and makes you feel safe at all times. I had an amazing experience. Oscar and the rest of the team are all very friendly and professional! Diving in Barcelona is a lot more exciting than people might think, the visibility was amazing and you'll find so many different species, beautiful diving spot! The facilities are great too! I have earned the PADI Open Water title. An unforgettable experience! Oscar and his team of dive masters are professionals but, even more importantly, great people. Not only will you learn easily and quickly, but you will have a great time. They are very flexible and respond quickly. The area is perfect for learning, we saw: an octopus, starfish and a great variety of fish. I would definitely repeat. A hug friends, you deserve the best!

I recommend it 100%!! Both Oscar and Jose were very kind and attentive in everything, I would repeat without a doubt. I have taken the Open Water course with Hispania and I couldn't be happier. Emphasize the great treatment they give and how close they are. 100% recommendable!!!

I took the open water course with this diving club in August after having done several dives in different centers and places, I have realized and I can say with arguments that the course they teach is simply to give the title without any training: Try 30 minutes underwater where they tell you four exercises and a 45 minute dive on the beach. When in reality you should do more exercises for your safety and that of your companions, more dives and boat trips, reaching a total of 5. I give two stars for the good treatment that the instructors give, it is true that they help you at all times, but in relation to the course, they had the diving center under construction, I don't know if it will affect it, but I do not recommend taking any course at this center diving.

Had an amazing experience at buceo hispania. Peter, the dive instructor I had, was brilliant and walked me through all step in a clear and calm manner. By the end of the two days the only problem I had was I couldn't wait to get in the water again!

Great experience!! Totally recommended. The teachers are top! They explain everything calmly and easily, they are there all the time to give you security but they also leave you free to have fun. Very good vibes and zero stress. They adapt to everyone and the difficulties that each one may have. And most importantly: they try to make you fall in love with diving and have a special time.

Experience more than recommended. To complete the PADI we had to reschedule several times due to weather problems and Oscar was super friendly and flexible.
