Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at! The rooms, the towels, the bed, the shower, the food, the drinks, the service, everything was perfection! If you are wondering if you should get the breakfast included, GET IT. We didn't and ate the breakfast every morning. It was amazing and totally worth the price. The rooftop is awesome. Great spot to wind down after a long day of walking. We we worried when we got to the hotel because there is some construction going on pretty close (like jackhammering construction) and when we got to our room and we couldn't hear a peep. Open the door to the balcony and it was so loud. So the rooms are VERY well insulated. We were so impressed. Perfect location too. We walked everywhere. The two times we needed a taxi, the hotel arranged it and it was right on time. Everyone who works there is so helpful, friendly, and extremely hard working. Thank you to the staff of H10 Madison for such a wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back!

I stayed at H10 Madison for my first stay in Barcelona and it was the best hotel in Barcelona, hands down! I went solo so I felt very at home and very safe in this location. You walk out and get the most stunning view of Barcelona Cathedral to your right. There is so much nearby activities where you walk to or simply sit and people watch. The rooftop was one of my favorite parts of the hotel. Sun bathe, get a good cocktail and enjoy the views. Great to invite friends over to hang out. Everyone from the morning to evening staff was extremely helpful, kind and felt like family. I was very sad to leave. When I come back soon, I will be staying here again! Highly recommend!

An amazingly wonderful experience! Staff at reception desk were all so friendly and helpful, attending to all our needs. Our room was very spacious and clean (comfortable bed and large bathroom). Housekeeping did a great job in making sure our room was clean and refreshed daily throughout the length of our stay. We took our 11 month old baby with us and the staff made sure that our stay was comfortable, they provided us with an infant cot and even gave our daughter a soft toy of the hotel mascot. The location of the hotel is very convenient and within walking distance to many tourist attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be returning here on future Barcelona trips!

Hotel is in a great location. Easy to get to everything. They have done a nice job of updating the furnishings and decor. There is free cava and water available in the lobby and at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety and the breakfast staff are friendly and attentive. However staff everywhere else (reception, servers on the terrace) are hit or miss. Some are friendly and attentive others seem outright bothered by guests. The terrace restaurant is listed by the hotel to be open until midnight. On the second night I was there they closed at 10 without explanation. When I ordered a drink it was not served with the customary snack of nuts, crackers, etc. Surely the kitchen doesn’t need to be open to provide that. The worst part of the hotel is the plumbing. I understand the hotel is in a very old district and that in general pipes in Spain don’t use the u-trap. We stayed at five other hotels in Spain, including another in Barcelona. None of them had the issues with the drains that this hotel has. On the first night I used the shower and shortly after the whole room was filled with noxious sewer gas odor. When I called the front desk they told me that the issue couldn’t be examined until the following day because there were no maintenance staff on duty. Why wouldn’t a hotel have maintenance staff on duty at night? The smell lingered all night. The next morning I had to inquire again about the issue with the front desk. They sent someone quickly to check it out. The maintenance guy told me it’s a common problem and proceeded to pour drain cleaner down all the drains. He also left some spilled on the floor. He told me after twenty minutes the odor would be gone. It seems to me that if the issue only requires drain cleaning fluid someone else could have poured it in the drains the night I reported it, even if no maintenance staff were on duty. If they had given me the bottle I would have poured it in the drains myself. However it still wouldn’t have fixed the issue. The issue was clearly not a drain cleaning issue. The odor was not resolved and no one followed up to see that the problem was fixed. Nor did they offer to change rooms or to provide a credit for the stay. I don’t believe the issue can be easily fixed. But the hotel should be honest with guests about that fact and endeavor to make the guest experience safer, healthier, and more pleasurable. For the price of the hotel, the facilities and experience are not up to par.

Excellent location with a view of Barcelona Cathedral. The room was lovely, and more spacious than we expected with comfortable beds and soundproof walls. The staff and service was impeccable! The experience greatly exceeded all of our expectations. We were made to feel like family during our 10 day stay over Christmas and felt that we were provided best in class service. The front desk arranged a cab to the airport for us and scheduled a doctor to come to our room to perform the necessary Covid test to fly back to the US. Jem, Glen, and Ecatarina were wonderful and took great care of us, the housekeeping staff was wonderful, and the rooftop bar staff was super friendly. We will be staying here and nowhere else on future Barcelona trips!

There really is no location more perfect than this. All major spots, landmarks and even delicious restaurants are close by. There are many H10 Hotel branches, but H10 Medison is by far the best. The room was a little small, but the bed was very comfortable and everything was there. The meticulousness of preparing champagne and cake to celebrate my birthday was outstanding. I was very satisfied with Barcelona and... it was my first experience in Spain. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Perfect location. Great views if you’re high enough and facing the right direction (we were- the cathedral greeted us each morning from the small balcony). Free cava daily in the lobby; free water bottles and espresso in the room and refreshed with the daily cleaning. Our room was wonderful; nothing to critique. You can walk to so much from this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop is special. 10/10.

Beautiful hotel and awesome location! I’m actually blown away at the cleanliness of the rooms. I’ve stayed at so many hotels that I can always find something not cleaned well. Everything was immaculate! Roof top pool has awesome views of cathedral and city. Great area to stay and enjoy Barcelona! Only thing that was strange was the server at the terrace wouldn’t let me finish a drink I brought even though we ordered food and Devi’s daily up there. I don’t encounter those strict regulations a lot. Oh well still great place and would definitely recommend.

Great hotel experience starting with the front desk. Laura was really pleasant to work with as she checked us in and gave us suggestions of where to go eat and sight seeing through Barcelona. The superior room with a view of the Barcelona Cathedral was great. Room was nice and clean and bathroom waterfall shower was the best. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Barcelona.

We were in 3 weeks trip in Spain and this was for sure one of the best hotels we had. we stayed there for 4 nights. Great location!! Staff are nice, welcoming, always with a smile no matter in which hour. We came before our room was ready and they emailed us once it was and already placed our luggage. So everything was already prepared for us once we were back from our city trip. The room was big (couple + 1), and looks new, clean, equipped with small minibar, 3 water bottles they put new every day, coffee machine and more. We also visited in the pool, which the kid enjoyed a lot and the view was amazing. Breakfast was great, waiters was very nice and smiley, the space looks luxury. Only downside is that there is almost no storage space in the room. Only small closet with 2 shelves. I would suggest that in the family rooms they will add more, there room is big enough. Anyhow, don’t think twice, very recommended.

I have a tremendous amount of gratitude for the staff at H10 Madison. I left some personal belongings with a lot of sentimental value at the hotel when I stayed there. After realizing, I called the hotel and sure enough, they were able to locate my belongings and hold them until I arrived back in Barcelona from another island. When I arrived, my items were labeled and the staff knew exactly what I was looking for. I appreciated this very much, and appreciated that the staff had been made aware of my mishap. Beyond all of that, the hotel is to the highest of standards. The rooms are clean, polished, and with personality. The bathrooms are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The rooftop pool is immaculate and the views of the city and the cathedral are perfect. All of the staff, from the waiters at the restaurant, to the front desk staff, to all of the staff working behind the scenes were an absolute pleasure to deal with, and I will absolutely stop at h10 Madison on my way back through Barcelona on my next trip.

We stayed at this hotel and we absolutely loved it. The staff were very nice and recommended goes places to eat for dinner. The rooftop is absolutely amazing with a great bar and beautiful view. The pool is nicely heated. The rooms are clean and had a very premium feel. Would hands down recommend and love to stay here again.

The people working at this hotel are incredible. They're professional, kind, and make you feel like you're the only guest there. The bed was more comfortable than even my own bed at home, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and I couldn't find a single thing to complain about during our entire stay (and I'm normally a complainer). When I travel to Barcelona again next time, I won't even think twice about booking this same hotel again. I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful Junior Suite but it didn't look onto the city like the website photos show....it overlooked a personal courtyard with clothes on the line, etc. The rooftop deck with bar, food, and pool was really great. The staff here were most accommodating. The breakfast room was lousy. The waitress was rude and the tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned with water rings from glasses, etc. Waitress was really not a happy person. She is one of two reasons we only at breakfast once. The other was how expensive it was! Front desk staff was kind and called for a cab when we were leaving.

Fantastic hotel and efficient polite staff! Spotless housekeeping was excellent. Stylish interior and beautiful breakfast. Brilliant location in gothic quarter. So glad we booked this hotel. Views of the cathedral and other eclectic buildings was true essence of Barcelona. Would come here again.

My wife and I finished off our anniversary trip at this lovely Boutique hotel. The hotel looks really classy and has a central location in the gothic quarter, close to Las Ramblas and near the cathedral. The location is great and highly recommended as most sights are within walking distance (aside from La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell). When we arrived we were welcomed warmly by Glenn and Manuel and we were also offered some welcome drinks. Glenn had been in touch before our stay and communication was prompt. The hotel is relatively small and we took our own luggage to the room. The room was compact, had a nice balcony with all amenities required. For our anniversary we were given a note, luxury collection of chocolates and cakes as well as some alcoholic drink. Upon advising them of that we don't drink alcohol they promptly changed it to mocktails which were delicious. Breakfast had a mix of buffet and a la carte. It is on the ground floor restaurant and was a real fine dining experience. I was very high quality and the service was really good especially from "Oriol" who had such positive energy and was genuine, honest and so professional. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant with great views. It is a nice place to just chill out, it also has a pool area. In general service was mixed and a little hit and miss. There seems to not be enough staff at the hotel as we had to wait a while for kettle, cups and tea bags (often the front of house had to come to give it to us). Front of house staff didn't seem to know much about what is going on locally or didn't really have any good restaurant recommendations. At checkout the front of house was rather firm and not very flexible and whilst appreciating it was a busy time some adjustment would have been appreciated. We also arranged an airport taxi through the hotel and were charged excess fraudulently. We raised the issue with the hotel and they successfully addressed and resolved the matter promptly. All in all this is a really good hotel and with some tweaks can become exceptional. We would highly recommend for the convenience, exceptional location and great breakfast.

Locatiom was great at H10 Madison. Close to the cathedral and metro station. Within walking distance to many other places Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were generally helpful and friendly. All good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling to Barcelona.

We loved our short stay at H10 Madison! The staff, amazing. The location, amazing. We arrived early and the staff was wonderfully warm and welcoming, stored our bags, and provided any assistance we needed. We didn’t miss a moment exploring while the hotel emailed us when our room was ready. They lobby is cozy and has comfy seating areas. The restaurant looked beautiful, but we didn’t event get a chance to try it. The location was prefect for strolling in the Gothic Quarter, catching the metro, taxi, or bus, or less than 15 min. walk to many other sights. And the roof… more food, drinks, a pool, and beautiful views make sure you take it all in during the day but at night as well. Our room was small, but its an old building, and we had no complaints as the updates were well done. My only complaint, if that, would be the shower heads. While I love a rain shower it was the only mounted shower head. We were easily able to grab a taxi to and from the airport and port of Barcelona to get to the hotel. There are also busses and the metro easily accessible in the area. Just check the map as these are old cobblestone streets and you don’t want to be towing luggage a long distance. I stayed at the H10 Madison in Barcelona for one night prior to boarding a cruise. We arrived early prior to check in, and the hotel staff held our bags as we sat in the rooftop terrace until our room was ready. The room was spacious for three people, well decorated and clean. The hotel is extremely beautifully decorated and the staff is so helpful! They assisted in getting us a taxi the next day so we could get to the cruise terminal. There was also free breakfast included, which was wonderful. You will definitely enjoy your stay at H10 Madison, the quality and service was impeccable!

I had an outstanding experience at H10 Madison Hotel in Barcelona. Its ideal location in the heart of the gothic quarter made exploring the city a breeze. Great hotel right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter. We stayed in four hotels on this trip and this one impressed us the most. Excellent service, I arranged for flowers, a card and wine for my wife as a surprise and they pulled it off perfectly, she loved the bouquet of lilies. The room was awesome, water temps changed immediately in shower and sink, nice comfortable bed, and able to cast to the TV so we could watch what we wanted. Really liked the smells everywhere in the hotel including our room. Cool rooftop bar and pool available too. As long as you get a decent room rate, you'll be very happy staying here.

Stayed here for a couple of days on our honeymoon while staying in Barcelona. The hotel was very cool, clean, and decorated beautifully. We enjoyed the breakfast spread and tasty cappuccinos. I called the front desk to ask for help with our converters and within 5 minutes a member of the staff was upstairs to help. The rooftop bar and pool area was a favorite of ours to have a drink and some papas fritas. The shower in our room was fantastic! The room had great space and a small coffee bar. We really enjoyed our stay.

Extremely wonderful experience. The staff are incredible!! Rooms were stylish, comfortable beds, and very practical (kids bed, free waters every day, chocolates on your pillows). The breakfast is wonderful and in a totally chic restaurant. For the price you can not beat this incredible kid-friendly (heated roof top pool all year round, free gifts for the kids on their beds, ect.) beautiful wonderfully located hotel. Can not say enough words about how wonderful this hotel was. And Rueban at the front desk was top-notch!

Absolutely lovely hotel. I will absolutely stay here next time I’m in Barcelona. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Beautiful, comfortable, and clean room. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. Anything you might want! The rooftop is so chic and a great place to have a bite and a drink or enjoy the pool and the view. We were sad to depart.

Horrible service! I had to leave earlier and checked out well before noon and they said they were going to charge me an extra night which I would not be staying. Never have I hear such a thing. I asked to talk to a manager and the front desk lady simply said the manager is not there and pretended to call someone and said that they were going to charge me more money for nights not spent . Ridiculous! Obviously apart from robbing me a night they will rent out this mini room. The day I arrived the room was micro mini and asked to move to a better room and the gentleman in the front said that the next day they would change us. We were never changed rooms. Also, we waited hours the first night for towels that the own front desk had to bring them to us late late . Will never return to this hotel. Do not recommend it to anyone. I have stayed in so many Barcelona hotels and never had I experienced such a surreal moment where they charge you more than what you stay!!! I felt robbed! And the front desk offered ZERO help ! Sad and unhappy! Don’t stay here!

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms including the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The AC works wonderfully. The two restaurants, especially the rooftop, is so convenient, has great food and drinks, and very nice staff. The location cannot be beat. It’s walking distance to so many attractions and restaurants. The plunge pool is refreshing after a hot day of walking. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family visiting Barcelona.

We had an AMAZING hotel stay! Great location, short walk to many tourist attractions and restaurants. Super helpful front desk staff, helped us set up our COVID test and a great source for dinner recommendations. Celebrated my boyfriends birthday and the hotel surprised us with a bottle champagne and deserts. Great rooftop to watch sunset.

Everything was absolutely wonderful for our stay here. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. They were always happy to help answer any questions we had or give us directions or tell us places to visit or eat. At anytime, there is cold water and champagne in the lobby that you can grab a glass of which is really nice when checking in or coming in from a long day out in the heat. The room was very cool (great AC!) and comfortable. The location is great also. Easy to walk to many places or easily catch a taxi or a bus. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for 4 nights and we were not disappointed. The hotel itself was lovely, we had two rooms on the third floor and faced the back of the hotel where it was peaceful. The overall location was spot on for us. The rooftop bar and pool was fab, and the views breathtaking. We had breakfast included and it great - no complaints and not rushed like in some hotels. The best part of the hotel however was the staff, from the reception team, to the restaurant team and housekeeping all were fantastic. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and they helped us boom tickets and make reservations without hesitation. If we back to Barcelona then I will definitely look to stay here again

Perfect location, beautiful and very comfortable room. The housekeeping service was impecable, with impressive attention to detail; also the nespresso machine in the room is a real treat!. A very good breakfast service and lovely ambience in the lounge. The restaurant and reception staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Everything about this place is positive. One of the very best hotels I stayed in.

Beautiful room with beautiful view! Excellent value. Loved the waterfall shower. I did have to ask for a kettle since they only provided a Nespresso machine with pods but that was the only downside to my visit. I would 100% visit again.

Perfect location for travelers and the hotel had many American tourists. The room quality is excellent though a bit small, and service is very good. For American tourists, note that check-in times are strict so plan ahead accordingly.

This hotel was such a great find and we would certainly go back. Conveniently located with wonderful breakfasts and great service it has proved to be exceptional in every way. A true 5 star experience!

Rooms are good, mattress extremely comfy. Breakfast was delicious and very versatile with a la carte options that are freshly prepared in the kitchen. One breakfast waitress was outstandingly friendly every morning. Roof top good but there’s better options for drinks in the area.

First and foremost the staff! Glenn, Guillermo, Katrina and all the rest were simply great, attending and assisting us in all our needs: COVID test arrangement, explaining where to visit in the city and even helping us out with our football tickets :-) Secondly, the facility is very highly kept and appealing in sight. Thirdly, the location is fantastic - when you calmly wake up and walk out of the hotel to immediately see the fantastic view of the Gothic quarter church - it is a fantastic special feeling. Highly recommendable.

Place was amazing. Great room, really clean (and trust me, i check every corner, even the light bulbs). Nice and friendly receptionists, helped with every question and query. They even got me a cake and a bottle for my birthday without us even telling them!! Hotel is located in a walking distance from the main avenue in central Barcelona, and near the very beautiful cathedral. Enjoyed my stay very much, would definitely return again!
