The overall quality and presentation of the food was quite good. I enjoyed the monkfish and octopus carpaccio but would have appreciated the dish to be accompanied by an acidic element to elevate the fish. The veal was cooked perfectly and vegetables kept the dish quite light. The dessert, a Ferrero Rocher chocolate bomb, was extremely sweet - it would have been nice to have it served with raspberries to help balance the flavours. Although the service was quite slow at the beginning (they had a large group taking up most of their time), once we had our order taken the service was extremely efficient and friendly. Overall, a nice experience!

We had a number of the dishes, since the menu sounded really good. And while the quality of the ingredients was great, the same can't be said about the dishes themselves. Feels like they wanted to open a high end restaurant, but couldn't find a chef who knew how to cook high end. Which is quite sad, as they are really trying. The lobster roll was basically 2 avocados (tasty, but...heavy), with overcooked bland lobster and mayo. The monkfish was super-salty. And the pork cheek I'm fairly sure was rested outside of the cooking tray (probably taken out and stored in a moisture-free environment), so while it was tender, it wasn't juicy.

We had breakfast here on several days and one night we had drinks. Once we ordered food was quick to arrive but service was lacking on a couple of mornings. Great help and smiling faces, but we just would go without seeing anyone for 20 minutes at a time and could not get coffee or juice. Food was very good and the bar service was great. All in all it did not hold us up for a busy day, but could have been less stressful if we got a bit more of attention. I do believe on one day they were short staffed as we only saw one server in the entire restaurant.

Quiet, upscale restaurant with varied plates. Friendly, pro table and reception service. Table service is catered to how fast or slow you eat. I'm an exceptionally slow eater and I wasn't rushed. Wine selection is excellent. Their suggestion for a non acidic full bodied red was on bar. Lacking vegetarian and vegan main dishes (as salad doesn't count). Their guacamole tapa was outstanding. I recommend their falso risotto. It's filling. I took half home. Pricey, but it is a five star hotel right ;) Was worth it. #localguides #letsguide
