Everything you want in a bar: attentive, friendly service; a varied selection of items to eat with your drink. It isn’t a restaurant, but the platter of fuet i olives, and the plate of traditional Spanish callos are just perfect to snack on and unwind with a drink, outside or inside. The atmosphere is clean, classy and relaxing, like a romantic movie. Go on a Friday evening and enjoy live music that does not distract from conversation and isn’t too loud, just good sincere music. Their mojito is one of the best I have ever had, done in a unique way so that you don’t lose the flavor of the lime. Amazing. It will be hard to find a better mojito.

Unassuming but super friendly and delicious! We were hungry before the usual Barcelona dinner hour and found Roux Bar near where we were staying in Eixample. Lucky for us because it was such a hidden gem! Good drink options including the house cava and by extension the cava sangria plus other affordable wine and cocktail options. Where Roux Bar really shined was the food. Every dish we ordered was great, with the standouts being the daily specials (ceviche, marinated chicken and daily fish (rooster fish on potato puree today)). Even the simple boquerones (white anchovies cured in vinegar and olive oil) were great. One of the best (and well-priced) meals we had in Barcelona - a dinner of tapas and a round of drinks for 4 came out to be ~€55. Chef was also very friendly and accommodating when we came by early

Beyond impressed with this funky little wine bar. Convenient location, a few tables on the terrace and a cozy, welcoming feel inside. No matter if you are flying solo, on a date or in a group, the staff will take great care of you, that’s for sure. Slavko is the man, with passion and care for what he offers. Amazing house olives served with a delicious copa of house wine. Can’t stress how high quality and affordable this local joint is. Welcoming for tourists and students as well. What are you waiting for and go check this place out ASAP!

Great service, and the food is simply delicious. The duck magré is cooked to perfection, although I'm not a big fan of all the fruit and the sweety coulis served with it.

Being stolen my smart phone on my 2nd day in Barcelona, I was in a very bad mood. But having lunch here I could feel much better. It was just a simple today's menu of clam soup, grilled fish and catalan cream with a glass of beer. I felt the soup as like "chicken soup for my soul". Not only the food but also their hospitality was much appreciated. They made my day with wonderful food and service. Highly recommend to everyone. And the price for such food is suprisingly cheap.

We had the best time there. The food was excellent and the atmosphere quite special. A guy was playing the guitar when we got there and the chef was super friendly. He's got a cool vibe and we wish him success in his business!

I loved the place so cozy and very nice the owner and professional, we bought beers and a delicious mojitos with angostura… They served some chips and olives.

I just stopped by to have one drink ( Moscow Mule). The place was cosy, not too loud which I liked and the lady that worked behind the bar seemed friendly.

Found this place just walking past from our hotel, they so quickly became like family! We returned every night!!! The bartender is amazing--the BEST OLD FASHIONED WE'VE EVER HAD! The white Russian, too! The hand made cocktails are to die for, and the vermouth is amazing! The music was perfect too, such a fun place. MUST GO!!!
