Very clean, friendly hotel, pools and a little small, super location for the beach bars and restaurants. Does have a bar on site average prices 3.20 euros for a local beer. Food. I'm half board breakfast and dinner has always been amazing food Hidden extras on arrival you can use there free wifi downstairs only or you can pay to access through the hotel 5 euros 1 day 10 euros 3days 20 euros 7 days... although when I booked wifi was included this is not correct TV and aircon is also available but they ask for deposits of 20 euros for the use of the TV and something silly for aircon again hidden extras when you arrive at hotel My sea view and balcony is the only fault and lack of nightlife here but for the price and experience with the beach a stone throw away I'm giving 3 stars Very covid safe and precautions in place at this hotel. I would stay here again! 1st September/ 7the September 2021

Great day staff, unfortunately that's it. The rooms walls are paper thin so you can hear everything through the walls, due to my noisy neighbour waking me up 2 nights in a row. The lack of customer care and service from the night shift staff is and was disgusting. To the point they refused to answer the reception phone to our booking provider. The room itself only had 1 plug, absolutely useless. The 2 star is only for the service.

Brief stay here after losing passport in May 2022 and had to hang around for Barcelona Visa office on Monday. Staff were excellent, especially at check-in as only had passport photo on phone. Half board was so cheap for 3 days. Plenty of food at buffet. Would stay again

Great staff, the breakfast buffet was great, a lot of choice between cooked stuff and continental style. View from room was fantastic. Just invest some money updating the rooms and soundproofing them, the walls are paper thin you can hear everything from next door. Any money spent doing this could be easily recouped by charging more for the updated rooms because the hotel is in a fantastic location and is very well run.

Staff is very polite and caring , location is perfect in front of 1 min to beach. No frills hotel, Plane dinner and basic breakfast, noisy room with full music on the road. No kettle or iron or any other utility in the room.

Rooms are basic but very clean, location is excellent, would definitely stay there again. Only downside I wasn't keen on the breakfast.

Location of this hotel is nice, but that's about it. There are no power outlets in the room, you have to pay 20€ to get a TV remote when the remote itself costs 12€, everything in the room is falling apart (pictures included), the balcony fence is flimsy, the bathtub is beaten up, the walls are thin like cardboard, and some of the staff is rude and disgusting, the server literally scratched his a*s while bringing the food to the buffet. Not the best experience, and overpriced for what it is.

I like the location and staff. Room was good for its price and lovely view from the balcony to the beach. One big minus was that walls were like paper so I heard everything from other rooms, staircase and outside. Luckily I can sleep with a bit of noise. Other minus was lighting at the room but then again you probably won't stay at the hotel room. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and supermarkets for buying water and chips for example.

Time of stay: September 2022 Half-board (drinks are included at breakfast, but not at dinner) + 1) good location: both a beach and a city centre are nearby 2) we had a balcony with a side sea view - and it was nice 3) thorough cleaning & fresh towels everyday 4) we were offered to get some late dinner in the first evening of our stay, although we had a rather late check-in - 1) no hair dryer 2) too many dishes and cups were chipped 3) the food was untasty, apart from the last evening of our stay when another cook came - that girl was good! 4) we had to buy a big bottle of shower gel, as a small sachet we have got was not enough for 1 day 5) the air conditioner was too loud (it disturbs at night); you should go to concierge if you want to change the temperature (problem for me being too shy); the air conditioner does not funktion, when you leave the room - that is why it was mainly too hot in our room 6) the cleaning lady was often in our room exactly at that time, when we had come from the beach, although we have chosen various time moments (12:00-14:00); we had to wait outside

The room was normal (like typical standard) except for the view from the window. It was really amazing!! Rooms with a seaview needed to book in advance, as there are not many of them and as a rule they are always occupied. Bed linen and towels were new, everything was nice. There is a pool outside for adults and kids. The drawbacks were: - the bed was not double, it was two single beds moved together; - the balcony in the room was with a weak fence, so you need to take care of the children so that they do not fall; - to get to the beach, you had to cross the road on the underground walkway; - there was a train going by the windows; - the hotel does not have its own parking, but there is free public parking nearby (but not safety). If you want to have a breakfast, you have to pay extra.

I wish I could give the Hotel 5 stars, but sadly it was badly let down by the food coming out from the kitchen cold.The food is then sat under heated dishes that are made to keep the food warm, not heat it from cold. We told the head waitress, who denied it was cold, I picked a fried egg up to get her to feel it was cold and she smacked my hand, she then told me to heat bacon, sausage and fried egg in the Microwave ! You should never heat pork in the microwave - it's dangerous. The Management said they had a "New Chef "- who they are clearly frightened of. The rooms were spotless and the food variety very good, but all barely warm. If the food had been hot, I would have given it 5 stars. I have staid there before and it was perfect, but they had a good chef then. Please please get a proper chef, not one that thinks the only thing he should do is walk round the guests in his fancy chef outfits !

Room is ok. Air conditioning remote control not available, need to call service to adjust. Location is great. Beach, stores, restaurants accessible in minutes.

The hotels location is very good - 2 minutes from the beach, restaurants and shops all around, housekeeping and hotel staff all very nice and friendly, rooms are small but clean and tidy, big plus for fresh towels as well as clean rooms each day, pool also clean and nice, best chef preparing the best food in town. Fantastic location; above floor threee with a sea view room is possibly the best view in all Calella. Clean hotel, friendly staff. But…… rooms very basic, facilities limited, tiny pool, poor quality food. Mid level hotel at best

We had a side sea-view room on the 6th floor for one night. The room was renovated, with a great bathroom - spacious, with a wonderful walk-in shower. The small balcony came with a magnificent view of the sea and sunrise. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were sooo impressed by the buffet dinner! Great variety, fresh food, quickly replenished - fish, chicken, pork, pizza, sides, salad bar, sauces, desserts, ice cream... what more can you want? Plus, I want to mention that the food is really tasty and good quality - it's not a low-quality buffet with cheap food. And please, if you read the comments where people say that you need to pay for the drinks... keep in mind that the dinner costs 3 euros per person (in September 2022)... do the math. Lastly, the hotel is on the beachfront in Calella, very close to the passageway to the beach that goes under the railway. So, you can't get a better location than this! All in all, considering the price, it's great value for money!

We had a great time staying at this hotel and would certainly consider going there again. We liked: Location - a few minutes walk to the beach. Room - clean and tidy. Daily cleaning. Stone and tile flooring. Balcony. A/C works great. Pool - small but clean pool, our son enjoyed swimming there in the evening before dinner when the sun has moved from it. Buffet - Large choice for adults with salad bar for for each meal. Dessert with each meal and ice cream with every lunch and dinner. Price: Fairly priced. Staff: Cleaning and buffet staff are great, reception staff is multilingual. German and English were no issue. Points to consider: Buffet - Full boarding doesn't include drinks for lunch and dinner, however we weren't made aware of that beforehand. We were there with our 4 year old son and he asked for juice many times however we didn't want to spend money on that every day. Would have preferred to pay a bit extra at the point of booking to have drinks included. Buffet - very repetitive for children. As the meat mostly comes without sauces my son mostly ate spaghetti with tomato sauce, fries, Chicken Nuggets, or chicken with ketchup. This might be a dream come true for some kids but after a week he wasn't able to swallow it anymore. Buffet - for Muslims - too much Pork. There were days where I barely had much choice as many dishes were with pork. Buffet - sometimes a bit bland for our taste as we like spices. Also even tough it is great that much meat is offered, eating the meat without sauces and spices is often a bit bland. Conclusion: Overall I do recommend this Hotel strongly and even tough I felt like the buffet points should be mentioned, I am sure many had no issues with it whatsoever. If we go there again, we may try to book breakfast and dinner only and eat outside at lunch for some additional variety and satisfaction.

Fantastic small family run hotel. Rooms and communal areas spotless, rooms cleaned towels etc changed every day. Staff very helpful and friendly. Great food and varied selection at meal times. Pool with bar and seating area. Beach directly across road. My first but definitely not my last visit to this hotel

Haven't stayed yet. I originally had this hotel booked for 2020 and they were very accommodating when I had to move the booking to 2021 however again due to covid I had to move again and since requesting to move to 2022 I gave not heard anything. I have sent several emails and had no response at all leading me to leaving this review in the hope I hear something from the hotel.

Clean rooms, great breakfast

Thin walls, cramped rooms and suspicious food. The only redeeming quality of this place is its proximity to the beach (which is rocky as hell) Also the train station is quite far away

You get what you pay for, if you want the best food and rooms pay for a 4 or 5 star hotel, our room was spotless, the staff absolutely brilliant at these prices you shouldn't complain .

3 stars because of the Buffett, otherwise quality/price is lacking: no wifi in the room, very loud noice from the external AC and furnitures to be updated. I found a couple of hair in the sink but nothing too horrible. Breakfast and lunch/dinner are good.

You get what you pay for. Clean rooms and comfy bed. Dinner and breakfast was really bad though, everything tasted so old and not fresh. But what can you expect for the price. Would sleep there again, but without the food.

Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and dinner, friendly staff. The beautiful beach is across the road. They cleaned our room and changed the towels every day. We would gladly choose Hotel Haromar again. <3 (A small fridge or mini-bar for cooling drinks and a clothes dryer for towels and bathing suits would be nice in the rooms.)
