Upon entry the hostess was talking behind my back to the servers and making fun of our group. They were continuously gossiping about us and making us feel uncomfortable in the beautiful restaurant. I assume it’s because we didn’t speak Catalan or Spanish with them. We ordered tapas and paella, the tapas were good but the paella was soggy and on the lower mediocre level! The Aperol Spritz tasted artificial and too sweet. We left as soon as we finished eating due to feeling disrespected as a customer. Note to the service: Be nice to all customers and don’t assume some doesn’t understand you when you speak behind their back.

My wife and I held our informal wedding ceremony in El Portinyol in August 2023. We found it via bodas.net. Since we live in Germany but wanted to celebrate our wedding on the beach near Barcelona, ​​we were looking for a location for up to 80 guests. Reducing the number to 40 guests was no problem.
