If there’s zero star option. I will not hesitate to give this hospital emergency department. I have never been to any hospital like this one, never before. Worst patient care! We came in and specifically told the nurse that my husband had “high fever for more than 4 days along with bloating in upper abdomen. He has difficulty breathing. When he tried to breathe in, he coughed a bit. He lost appetite , felt full all the time.” We were sent outside. The nurse came and said my husband needed to get Covid swab and a chest X-ray. ED doctor finally came out to meet us. He looked at my husband and spoke for less than 5 minutes. Of note, he didn’t even perform an actual physical exam. He just looked and said okay we order chest X-ray. I am not even a doctor myself, but if my patient came in complaining that he or she has high persistent fever for 4 days. I will order blood works to take a look at CBC, CMP and/or Liver Panel Function. Bloating in epigastric with pain I will also order an ultrasound. My husband was sent home with Viral Illness after getting his chest X-ray done. I disputed with the nurse that we cannot control his fever at home for more than 4 days. I rotated Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours. That nurse ignored me and said the doctor just gave a prescription Motrin 600mg to try at home. 3 days later, his fever still can’t be controlled at home and epigastric pain/pressure got worst. I took him to Memorial Care. Within 30 minutes, Dr Wong found out what was wrong with my husband and he got admitted. Worst patient Care ever!

Do not take anyone you love or care for to this Hospital. Nurses and Doctors are not trained, equipment outdated, it's a very scary place. I worked here for 2 yrs as a RN and it made me quit hospital nursing for good.

This is one of the worst hospitals. If you could choose elsewhere I would. The nurses took forever to attend my mother. You had to be constantly on them and advicate for your family member. At one point her IV was all over the floor. My mom could have slip and fell. Luckily my sister got there to witness this. We have pictures to prove it. Also right out major surgery the nurses tried to have sit in a wheelchair. The nurse was beyond rude. I go there right on time before moving her out of ICU to another room. They moved her like she was a rag doll. The only good people was the Surgeon he was amazing and had good communication between us. Also the one nurse assistant she was so lovely and caring towards my mother.

I came here labor day morning for a consultation to an empty emergency room . I didn't have an emergency but I work the night shift so I thought I could come here to seek medical advice. I was treated very horrible. I was told I was wasting hospital resources with a disgusting attitude. they could have easily referred my to a local clinic or urgent care but I was miss treated instead, despite comming here for medical help. they also tried to bill me because the receptionist couldn't find my insurance even after I called them and gave her my insurance ID. the receptionist did not like the I was trying to use my insurance because she was rushing me and told me I was again wasting hospital resources and their time. I was trying to explain my situation to them but they were disrespectfully dismissive and just wanted me out. I'm an overall reasonable person and never disrespectful. so to be treated so poorly by medical professionals just reflects poorly on this hospital. I reach out multiple times to make an official complaint but never heard back. shame on you fountain Valley regional hospital. I just hope the next person doesn't get the same treatment.

Clean remodeled up to date equipment, staff Nurses and the CNA’s are kind hard working people trying to help others . But people only look for the tiny bit of a problem and run with it . Please we all need to see the good in others we don’t have to many nice things to say to each other as it is . God said give love , you will get love back. Our Doctors are the most precious gems here because they saved a lot of lives ,our management team keep us open with out them we would be closed and our kitchen staff work hard to send out the patients food on time . I am

It is imperative that the nurses on the second floor step down from their positions immediately and have their licenses revoked. This hospital is an abysmal location to receive any kind of care. If you wish to preserve both your well-being and dignity, it is crucial that you seek treatment elsewhere.

My husband is being treated at this hospital and instead of making both him and me comfortable we were placed in this little space not even big enough for my husband to be able to get out of bed..and the nurses on the second floor treated me like I was a nobody when I was there to help them out with my husband. This used to be a really good hospital but now I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. We also have been asking to speak to a social worker at the hospital and we are still waiting for one for three days now.

Been trying to reach the hospital about my stay there it nice but the pain Doctor Train there on staff is very obviously there was on one in the room with me and him and he would not talk to me he. Yelled at me said he would not give me my real dosage of medicine which was on my regiment in the computer him and other doctor’s that worded with him let me in pain the whole time I was there I have a chronic acute pain with two major back in fused surgeries no one would help me but all the nurses were wonderful on the staff exit 1 the last one that came the night I checked myself out of the hospital he came in yelling at me just like the pain doctor threaten not to give me my medicine that night I said this is all the abuse I’m going to take and I checked myself out of the hospital and went home the charge nurse did not check to see what the nurse was doing to me she was on her side the whole time since then I’ve tried To contact the hospital with no success when I was at the hospital I even tried to call the Director the operator hung up in my face because I was crying and could not control myself He said stop yelling at me but I was only crying and couldn’t hardly talk so she just hung up could not reach anyone so now I am afraid to go to any hospital in Orange County the end

This hospital is just the dang worst ! Went here because my 3 week old was projectile vomiting & once we got there this nurse came out asking us questions she was SUPER rude !! I get it it’s 2 am but why did you have to be soo rude to us ? I wish I got her name. Once inside nurses were just talking about their personal lives RIGHT infront of us . We were soo scared & upset for our baby so it was soo messed up how they wanted talk about our personal lives right infront of us . Young females in the ED all they wanna do is gossip while there are patients sick smh. Don’t even waste your time here . I felt like they judged me for bringing her in as well , after they discharged us it took over 2 hours just to give us some papers .

This hospital should really have more stars than it does. The staff here goes over and beyond to take care of their patients and see that they get the best care possible. They are very attentive, caring and treat your loved one like family. I was a little worried with Covid, but the staff made sure that things were sanitary, wiped down and that my LO had her mask when leaving her room. I am very pleased with the care that my LO received!! This hospital definitely deserves more stars than I am able to give!!!

3 weeks ago, I had the worst experience of my life at this hospital. I would give negative star if that was possible. Please, don't deliver here. I am a young Hispanic woman. My partner and I were discriminated against since the beginning of our birth journey. What should have been the best moment of my life, turned into a nightmare. The Dr. was unprofessional, careless and racist. The staff did not care for me or my newborn. My Daughter almost died at the hands of these monsters. Please run! Don't put your baby in the hands of these monsters. Read the reviews.

Fountain Valley Hospital sent 2 different bills, one to my current address and another to my previous address. No idea why they sent one to an address I don't live at anymore considering that I had explicitly told them "I am no longer at that address. Here is my current place of residence". Didn't know about the one sent to my previous address until I got a call from collections informing me about my outstanding balance. Thanks for being incompetent and potentially screwing up my credit 😊.

Mother came in via ambulance. No choice of destination. Mother sat in a room with A-Fib and 85% oxygen level. They gave her o2 and left her . We called for the nurse who came in without a mask eating g ice chips saying what do you want? Excuse me? 2nd call for same question. Nurse comes in eating pop corn. When I asked her isn't it policy to wear a mask she said yes and left! Were still waiting for a answer.

If there were no stars, they would get Zero. My son died in front of our entire family with the primary ICU "doctor" on probation after revocation in July 2019. The non-treating geriatric doctor signed the death certificate. My son died in less than five hours in December 2019 at FV Regional Hospital. My son was 34 and died from undiagnosed pneumonia. The Accusation that put my son’s doctor on probation which stayed the revocation of his license was for the death of a 33 year old male with the same condition that killed my son. I keep the earlier Accusation. I defend doctors in administrative hearings. Dr Le never should had had control of my son’s care on 12/16/2019. We lost a son and brother. Dr. Le left and went his merry way. Nice work Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. I forgave long ago but I will never forget the anguish this place and their doctor caused our family.

This is a fraud agency. Please find some other hospital that is best in service than this scamming hospital. My wife went to ER after three weeks I got a bill and we paid the co-pay. Two months after I am getting bills from their physician separately and so does their diagnostics and imaging.

Absolutely the worst hospital! It's like a third world hospital. Not clean at all! My sister picked up a sheet that was on the floor to allow my mother to walk back to her room and it had feces on it. The nursing staff doesn't care and gets bothered when you ask for help. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN? The cleanliness alone should of shut them down. It's just ghetto, avoid this place at all costs! The cleaning staff argued with nurse staff about cleaning a restroom and said that's not part of their job! DO BETTER ! IF YOU DONT LIKE NURSING OR DOING YOUR JOB QUIT!! DONT PUT PEOPLES LIVES IN JEOPARDY!

This hospital is so unprofessional and rude. Also the wait times are horrendous. I got my discharge papers, however I could not wait 2 hours for them to give me a doctor's not. So figured they could email it to me. Nope not at all told I have to go back up there for it. Pretty funny though on the voice prompt says they are avoiding covid but not having people there that don't need to be. Seems kinds hypocritical to me. So you're not doing all you can to avoid people getting sick. So I call them they won't send it then tells me it can only be for 3 days after I got hit by a car. Then puts me on hold for 45 minutes never comes back to the phone so I just hung up. Never again will I be going here.

Terrible service called to take care of a bill molly the operator was bothered I called so many times she connected me to Rebecca in the ER admitting who put me on hold for 15min. Rebecca said let me ask my boss about the bill situation never got back to me. Hung up and called was connected to ER because molly said they take care of billing for ER Rebecca answered and put me on hold again for a few minutes. I hung up called operator again asked for the manager for admitting she sent me to the nursing station. I spoke to the nurse or unit secretary told her I don't think I was connected to the right place I was calling for my friend not letting me talk she says what's his name I said its regarding a bill his name is Leon, there is no Leon here sir I'm like no I need admitting she got frustrated and hung up on me. Called again I told molly please don't connect me to the ER again please can I talk to a manager for admitting she sent me to patient experience. I'm just trying to get you guys paid here molly was talking over me and not letting me speak at this point I gave up you guys make it very difficult to pay you it was complicated situation that's why I needed a manager to do the flat rate I take it molly was bothered I called so many times but it seems as if everyone is lazy the ER nurse was rude for no reason I get it the ER is busy but have some manners I do not recommend dealing with these people everyone tries to hand you over to the next person. mind this was a time sensitive thing called on 09/22 in the am.

I had horrific experiences at this hospital. I still bear guilty conscience that I bought my wife here to have the baby. I also feel sorry for my baby to stayed after birth. After the lousy service you going be billed. This supposed to be one of the most happiest day of your life. They ruined mine and I don’t want them to ruin yours.

This hospital is amazing!! I had a miscarriage on March 2023 the nurses made me feel like they were family when my fiance and family where on the way to the hospital. They allow me to say goodbye to my son taking all the time I needed. Also, they gave me a special box that ease my tremendous pain with pictures of my son with a bear, blanket, and a mini hat that he use in the pictures.

It didn’t seem like they were taking good care of my grandma. They had tubes in her to where she couldn’t talk and was asleep the whole time. She had a bladder rupture, blood in urine, and they didn’t clean her up well. She also had a rash and we couldn’t see it until she died. They wouldn’t let us see her get changed or cleaned. So when we got to see her full body after death, we were all in shock to see all the holes, the blood, the infection. It makes me feel so mad and sad that my grandma was in excruciating pain for days before her death. She died so painfully.

I went in to get x-rays because I was hit by a car awhile back and have not had any luck with my primary getting my referrals right, apparently they don't know how to do what they were trained for. This hospital did my x-rays, I waited for a few minutes just to be told the doctor discharged me with just ibuprofen and muscle spasm medication. I'm pretty sure I saw a fracture on the x-rays instantly where I feel the pinching feeling. The doctor didn't even bother to want to show it to me so I would feel confident in them. It's like doctor's these days just don't care... I've lost out on a lawsuit from getting hit, literally completely innocent and the other woman was under the influence! But because doctor's can't get a job done right, I have waited in depression for a year! What do I do!!!

I always make sure I have insurance and it’s active before getting care because I’m terrified of not being able to afford care. They ran my insurance AND charged it so I thought I was ok. Then I get a bill for $1,000 in the mail, and they say “oh, that’s a dr bill, that’s separate”. Separate from what was already charged to insurance! I went to this location 3 times before getting a scan and care since they refused to do it the first time. They told me the visit was not fully covered, even though the dr worked directly through the hospital? These people play games!! Now my finger is screwed up and I can’t trust this place to not bill me multiple times over a damn finger.

A horrific experience . The start is rude , and inconsiderate . You will find cockroaches waking in your bed . They will tell you that ghetto cockroaches come from ‘outside’ they will cut off your medication for no reason . They will lie in their reports , and even lie yo social workers outside of fountain Valletta. They will bring you the kind of food you asked that if not be brought you , and will tell that they didn’t even have mild half of the time , and if you ask for nonfat mild , they never have it . They will mess with your medications under the guise that your outside doctors who know you for 10 years or longer are wrong m. They will Lose your personal belongings , in my case a 370 set of glasses . When they take into the OR, your property will be left on a chair for anyone to rage . When you ask then for a suppository because you are constipated , they wooo ask if you can do it yourself , even if you can’t turn or bend because of back surgery , they contract through HMO: , ad the hmo will get a real good price ,. It was a filthy place , their rudeness was legendary . They wouldn’t help with anything, orange coast is a much better hospital by miies, I had no voice in this matter, but orange coast , UCI , and anaheim hospital blow them Away . This is the last time I will ever end up at orange coast hospital . They don’t deserve one star . I would give them .0 stars if I could. The place is filthy beyond belief , the staff treat the patients rudely , after making them wait in bed for several hours. You will get worse being there . Please avoid at all costs

I had my baby here and everything went well. The team was very professional. Nurses were always kind, caring and knowledgeable. Even food and cleaning crew were helpful. God bless you all and thank you.

This hospital is staffed by people who only care about themselves and not the patients. Mr. Hilton, who is supposedly a doctor, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The focus should be on the patients and not your personal pride. Your interactions with your patients social workers says a lot about you and the disorganization you are associated with.

I went to the ER for an asthma attack a couple of weeks ago and the staff was amazing. They were all very kind and caring and they really took care of me, and gave me the appropriate medication/medical treatment. This is my second experience with The FVRH ER and they were great both times. The bathroom was very clean too.
