2022-May. Easy parking. Friendly staff. Asks you what and how you want your order. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. We have never tried dairy-free before. It's not as creamy as regular ice cream, but it's good enough. 5-star for staff. Bon Appétit!

Tried Taro and Chocolate ice cream and couldn't believe these are dairy free... how? Tastes so good and creamy and a great spot and definitely coming back. Awesome and friendly customer service to top it off... So win win.

Best Vegan ice cream I have ever had!! 🤩🤩😋😋 Different varieties of flavors to choose from, all delicious and great customer service. 👍🏼 They also have some vegan friendly drinks and snacks. I highly recommend this ice cream place if you live or just visiting Anaheim. 😉

My wife, our two friends and I just had an expensive bad dinner and wanted a feel good. Our friends recommended Hug Life for some yummy vegan ice cream and I have to tell you they didn’t disappoint. I had the banana boy, my wife had vanilla bean, and both of our friends had a sundae with almonds and whipped cream. We sat in the car and had the most enjoyable experience devouring this fantastic ice cream….. no difference in taste from a dairy ice cream. Final point the adorable young lady that served us was a complete delight. She really enhanced the overall experience.

I like this ice cream shop for their unique variety of non dairy flavors. The ice cream is made of oat milk and great for me because most food gives me a bad gut problem. This did not upset my stomach.

Haven't been here in years, and obviously since Covid hit, Hug Life has changed. I mean, it was practically empty minus the case of limited ice cream flavors and toppings, and a few tshirts/sweatshirts hanging up on a small rack to the side of the shop. The selection of products has greatly decreased, and I saw no dine-in tables. Staff was plentiful, friendly, and helpful though- as always! I was in and out the door within a few minutes. Birthday cake flavor was way too sweet to the point where it overshadowed the taro. My friend's sorbet tasted strange, and it was also way too sweet. My toppings seemed sparse as opposed to how it used to be. I just dont remember it being like this. I do, however, remember parking sucked, and it still does.

The ice cream was surprisingly better than I expected it to be. As someone who is lactose intolerant I was weary of a dairy free place as I have had a few bad experiences. However I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The ice cream was delicious and I wanted to get a scoop of each flavor!! My husband also really liked it and said he didn't feel sluggish after which was nice. The staff here was really kind and answered all my questions and let me try a few flavors. It was a little expensive for ice cream but it was worth it not to be stuck in the bathroom for hours after eating it! (LOL) Over all I for sure recommend this place!

This is out for to place for a non dairy option of ice cream. I always try to get a new flavor each time. But I think Reese’s peace’s is the best one so far. Typically with non dairy ice cream I can tell it’s. On dairy, but I can honestly say that’s not the case here. The flavors are rich and the texture is smooth. The brownie a la mode is the must get. You get two warm delicious brownies with 2 choices of ice cream plus your choice of 1 topping and 1 sauce. The workers are always very friendly and helpful. I think they are mostly college students that work there. Definitely should go check this place out if you have a lactose allergy or even if you don’t.

Not very bad at all, I am not a sweet person that I used to be because of the diet to keep me off the sugar. This place was very funky as their ice creams. To my surprise, as my daughter highly recommended to try, its tastes was very delicious and prices were decent. It was kind of busy with young people came out and enjoy their late night with ice creams . I also checked on yelp to see what people said about this hang out , I got a free topping lol I tried to be funny that if I could get my free peanut, but a young man gave me a whole cup of crunchy peanut. It was kind and kool I liked it. Services were excellent and very friendly.

Great vegan ice cream! Most are coconut based, but some are almond or soy too. They have some sorbets as well. Their scoops are HUGE. A single scoop is basically a double scoop, so I think the price is more fair than it may look. They let me bring my own bowl and spoons to be zero waste. When you get samples, they use a wooden popsicle, not plastic. The mango sorbet was really good. The green goblin and match ice cream are also solid choices.

Great vegan ice cream, we had a double scoop of Rocky road and Reese pieces and it hit the spot. As others mention parking isn’t great as the lot was busy, no idea why as everything else was closed.

The website is misleading because it says organic non-dairy. It may be non-dairy, but the ingredients are not organic. There are ingredients like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s, Twix and Mexican candy (which is fine if you aren’t looking for organic). There are a couple Gluten-Free ice cream options. The shop has a TV with a random slideshow of celebrities 😂😂

Solid hole in the wall with minimal seating the delivers the best ice cream chain in California. I had the Vietnamese Coffee with vanilla in a rootbeer float. It was amazing. They have brownies and cookies for cool combos as well.

I prefer vegan ice cream over conventional just because it sits better in my stomach. It has great texture and taste as well. They have very creative flavors and they're all good! Couple of my favorites are Cookies n cream and Banana boy. You get a generous amount per scoop as well.

As a gluten-free, anti-dairy consumer, I really appreciate this place. I am super sad the Orange location closed. =( I got the mint chip, single scoop, in a cup. Other than being a bit expensive, it is very tasty! The others in my party got the mango chamoy, Thai tea, and Vietnamese coffee flavors. Always a good time!
