Having known the family for some time now. This place is still the number one for me in salou. The most authentic surroundings. Authentic welcome and really does feel like coming into Chris and Rachel's home. The staff are such a credit to them each and every single one. There's no place better and a must try when in salou. Worth finding for sure ♥️

Very friendly owners and staff, food is top quality, it is a taste from home. Kids options available and family friendly. On top of that, a great pint of Guinness (as would be expected!). Keep up the great work guys!

Nice food nice staff. Surprising Guinness good. Best fillet steak in Salou. No Bull. There was 10 of us and we all said this was the best food we had in Salou.

Our 2nd visit in just a few days, staff super friendly and very welcoming, we had the crispy chicken satay and the beef and Guinness pie and mash, absolutely delicious. I advise anyone holidaying in Salou to visit here, you won't be disappointed.

Found this on the second week of holidays, wish we found it sooner! The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We arrived with no booking, but luckily were able to get a table. The food here is to die for - the best food I had in Salou, and in fact, some of the best food I have had anywhere. We ordered the chicken satay and the shepherd's pie, and can easily say they were the tastiest we have ever had anywhere. Whoever is cooking here is worth their weight in gold. We ate here on 2 evenings before going home, but if ever back in Salou we will definitely book in again.

Salou has lots of restaurants, many of which are just the same old bland food and it can get a bit disappointing eating in them, especially as a coeliac. The Guinness Tavern serves great food, is in a lovely spot with a nice atmosphere, caters brilliantly for coeliacs and other dietary requirements and the staff are great. We ate there twice. I'd recommend the goat's cheese salad as a starter, the nachos were also delicious as were the breaded mushrooms. I would say this was our best eating experience for the whole holiday and I would certainly recommend a visit. Special shout out to our server, the lady from Dublin, who was so friendly and great craic.

Probably the best steak I had in a while. Order it medium rare. The beer was excellent also!

One of the best places to eat in salou. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and even had a children’s cocktail for our little girl. 100% coming back again for food highly recommend.

Not to be missed.. Well worth a visit during your time in Salou.. We have tried everything on the menu during our 5 visits to Salou and never had a complaint or problem with anything we have ever eaten here. My daughter looks forward to the best chicken curry ever, everytime we visit.

Best Irish traditional food in Salou by far! Visited twice and throughly enjoyed both meals. After eating in the main strip for five other nights, we were delighted to have come across this place. The staff are most welcoming, the food is devine and great atmosphere all round.

We were the 1st customers of the day yesterday and we received a fabulous welcome. We sat down and we were well looked after from then till the moment we left by each staff member there - LOVELY PEOPLE. The setting is great and the irish memorabilia is just brillant. Great menu for young and old, something for everyone. The food didn't disapoint on arrival. TOP NOTCH 👍👍👍👍 We will be thinking of this place and the food for a long time to come and we will most definitely visit again next year. Thanks guys 👏👏👏👏

Very cozy outdoor dining area, lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and most importantly excellent food! Easily the best food in Salou, an all around great experience, it's just a pity we found the place on the last day of our holiday, we definitely would have come back!

A great discovery. Superb, friendly service. The food was excellent quality , freshly cooked and served very promptly. Great value. Food was served in a really nice and comfortable courtyard. Beautiful bar area with lots of very interesting art (some by Cobh based Dolores Stephenson) and very interesting memorabilia. It serves probably the best pint of Guinness I have had abroad and would put many an Pub in Ireland to the test. The Tavern is aptly named. We are looking forward to our next visit to Salou and The Guinness Tavern. Thank you Christy and your hard working staff.

Been here many times over the past 10 years. It's the best restaurant in Salou.

Highly recommended. Staff kindly managed to find us a table even though we hadn’t booked - totally our fault for turning up without a booking and just goes to show how popular this restaurant is. The whole evening the staff were great. I can’t praise the food enough - we both had burgers as well as sharing some chicken strips. Usually when I get a burger out I’m always left thinking I could have made a better one at home but that definitely was not the case at Guinness Tavern - I think it was probably the best burger I’ve eaten. Bonus points for delicious thick cut chips which were great. Next time we visit Salou we will definitely come back, although this time with a reservation…

Little gem of a restaurant. Need to book a table at peek times. Friendly and efficient service, lovely food and atmosphere. Big portions. Lots of quirky signs and a door for visiting leprechauns!

The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly. Love the banter between staff, great to see people happy at work. I had a fillet steak that melted in my mouth!! Cooked perfectly! My friends had Satay,Burger and Curry..all dishes were gorgeous. The eating area is mainly outdoor, very comfy. No smoking allowed which is great,I'm a smoker but don't like smoke while eating. Cost was about €50pp that included starter, mains and dessert. Cant go wrong for that price. Would go back in a heartbeat 😍

Superb Guinness, and really really good home cooked food. The chicken strips were amazing. Staff are super friendly too, and good craic. Would highly recommend. It’s away from the main strips as well which makes it feel like a good find and gives it a more personal atmosphere.

We went here on our last night. The food was amazing and so tasty. Would highly recommend the steak and Guinness pie, with mash (that tastes like proper Irish mash) and the shepards pie. The burgers were also gorgeous and massive. No room for dessert unfortunately but I’m sure it would be amazing too.

Alright, the food here was absolutely amazing. We were a party of 3, all ordered different meals and we were stunned by how good it was for the price. The staff was quite friendly and they spoke multiple languages, which also made it easy to order. The atmosphere was really calm, and that makes for a really nice and enjoyable dinner. The only problem I had was the waiters coming over multiple times to ask if we wanted drinks, even though we had ordered already, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, I would recommend coming here if you're looking for good food at a decently cheap price!

We called in the night before for drinks. It was very busy, but they found us a table. We booked for the following night. The food was delicious. The warm, welcoming atmosphere was lovely. Would highly recommend. We go home today but would definitely have returned if we had a few more days here.

😠 30 minutes queueing and when we got our food a show started that was so loud we could not stop ourselvs from laughing out loud. No matter, no one could hear us. We communicated via texts as talking was out. Food was fine though. And the rest of the crowd seem to enjoy the show. I did not.

😠 Definitely give it a miss, food looks better than it is. No real flavour and very expensive. Tacos were swimming in oil. Burger below average. Nacho’s no flavour in the toppings. Most expensive meal we’ve had here and was the worst by far
