Dropped by impromptu on a road trip in California and was blown away by the wines and the service here. For 25$ you get to taste 6 different wine (2 whites and 4 reds). I definitely fell in love with their Syrah, but all the wines were amazing! And what to say about the service! The waitress was so knowledgeable, friendly, overall amazing. The owner, Steve, also came by to say Ho which was very nice. The outdoor area was relaxed, well maintained, away from the road and pups-friendly. Really a 10/10 experience ! Would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.

We found this winery impromptu while passing through Paso Robles on the way to Hearst Castle. We were looking for a laid back atmosphere where our toddler would be welcome, and Four Lanterns exceeded our expectations in that regard. They have a nice open outdoor area with plenty space to spread out (and sequester a roaming youngin). Their staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Rita was very knowledgeable about their wine offerings and shared personalized recommendations. The owner, Steve, personally visited our table to check in and was so kind to share his story and knowledge and made the experience quite memorable. We left with smiles on our faces and more informed and excited about Paso Robles wines. 10/10, definitely will bring friends here when the opportunity arises. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit (they entertain walk-ins as well).

What a gem in the heart of Paso Robles. The wines are delicious and the hosts are fantastic. Super friendly and accommodating. Terrace is great with the natural canopy from the trees keeping you comfortable while enjoying wines.

Love this winery. Very good wine. Owners Steve and Jackie came around and introduced themselves. Everyone is super friendly. The outdoor area is also cute. They have a stage for live music. Highly recommend

My favorite winery in the area!! Generous pours in the tasting and some of the best red wine we had. Super friendly and generous staff. Great outdoor space, laid back vibe, lawn games and live music.

Out of three wineries, this was our favorite. Consistently awesome wine, great people, great location. Don't miss this winery. You won't be disappointed!

Four Lanterns offers a beautiful setting to enjoy their variety of wines. We tasted both white and red wines and loved them all! Mary K was very informative about each wine and helpful with our selections and shipping options. I will definitely be back again. Thank you Mary K for your wealth of knowledge and warm hospitality.

As red wine collectors, this is a must see in Paso Robles, CA. The property is stunning with a laid back vibe, relaxing atmosphere and great people. Molly was warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable. Steve, wine maker and owner, spent a good amount of time with us and shared his experiences and history of the property and his wine. Brix even hung out with us and laid at our feet. We will definitely be back. Spectacular reds and wonderful people. Thank you.

Beautiful place to sit under the trees and taste. Molly was our awesome wine guide and we had a great chat with owner/ winemaker Steve while petting Brix, the golden. Most important: excellent wine! So excellent that we joined the wine club. We also reserved an overnight space through Harvest Host and parked our van out back overnight. Just us and a great horned owl. Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Came here as a stop on our honeymoon and it was the best winery we went to. We are red fans but everything we tried was incredible. Our host was attentive and generous with her pours, very friendly and gave us nice bits of information about each pour. There was no snooty feeling like other wineries tend to do, it was welcoming and relaxing all around. We sat outside in the patio/garden area, they warned us it would be a little windy but it was perfectly breezy. We also brought our own picnic that we snacked on as we tasted and it was perfect. We took 3 bottles home, which was something we do not normally do. Definitely going again next time we're in Paso!

Our second visit to this great winery. We love their Cabernet Franc. Mary was very informative and helpful, even recommending a great place for lunch nearby. We will definitely visit there again when in the area.

This was a fantastic find. We had two separate recommendations to visit Four Lanterns. One from a friend who was in Paso the same time we were. The other was from a winery in the area. Their wines and service were delightful. We bought the dessert wine. The views and atmosphere were perfect. We enjoyed a picnic lunch while tasting the wines. It was a beautiful afternoon.

The tasting fee here is $25 waived only with 3 bottle purchase. Average red wine costs over $50. Rita served us 6 wines, all crafted well. My favorite was the 2017 Firelight Syrah which has blackberry notes and bold finish. The entire property is beautiful. As we sipped the crew was desteming several bats of grapes.

Loved my wine tasting. Our server was Rita. She's so knowledgeable and appeared to love was she was doing. Amazing wines and tasting room. Why 3 stars? $25 tasting fee waived for 3 wine purchase - very EXPENSIVE.

Beautiful location, lots of wine varietals to taste. Molly made us feel like very welcome and took excellent care of us. The owners, Steve and Jackie were great and our puppy loved their winery dog Brick! Very relaxing afternoon to sample some very good, low volume, boutique wines.

We stayed here with Harvest Hosts and loved it. The wine was great, the service was terrific and we loved camping next to the vineyard.

My friends and I absolutely loved this place!! It was almost impossible to decide which wine was our favorite because they ALL were amazing. Molly was our server and she was so much fun and informative. We are planning to come back and instead of just stopping by, we’re planning to stay for a weekend of just wine tasting. This is probably the best winery I’ve ever been to. Excellent wine and service, I can’t wait to come back.

An incredible experience. Molly was a fantastic server and expertise in wine processing and tastes was incredible. I will be returning for tours and tasting. Also I will recommend 4 lanterns as a great destination for great wines and experience.

Such a wonderful new discovery in the Paso Robles area, made even more special by our hostess Molly! With wineries taking on a “corporate, less-than-intimate feel”, Four Lanterns is the old-style less rigid, friendly experience. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon. A perfect time.

We had a wonderful experience at Four Lanterns. Our hostess who served us was wonderful...very friendly and knowledgeable. The owners both came and spent time talking with us. And the wine was excellent.
