Very small establishment. Very beautiful interior. I loved the short but wonderful menu and beverage options. The Thai Steak Salad was amazing! But their website is right; they mostly have tables that accommodate parties of 2. The younger asian floor manager was very kind, and you could see him busy hosting and cashing people out at the Honor Market. The 2 female bartenders were lovely, as well as the server assistant. The server who helped us was very, 'high nose' and we could almost feel the tension in the air as if she 'looked down' on my friend and I at dinner. She said all of the right things and sequence of service was there, but the tone and demeanor was not warm. $100 for 2 people. It was more expensive than an average meal, but it was nice to try it once.

Chicken sandwich is very good & delicious. On a sesame seed roll, fried chicken, lettuce tomato, and baby Swiss cheese. Large enough to split with someone, as it is divided in thirds. My wife also ordered the coleslaw, however she does not like cilantro which was in the slaw. We also ordered the duo dip appetizer, guacamole and jalapeño queso with chips. The guacamole was very good, and the queso dip was also served cold, which is not our favorite way to queso dip. The service was friendly and excellentand kept refilling our cold water. I had the French Dip, which is thinly sliced and piled high prime rib on a french roll. With creamy horseradish and au jus, it was also delicious. The meat was done perfectly for a french dip and the french roll was very tasty. Can highly recommend the Honor Bar, great atmosphere, excellent food and service.

Beautiful surroundings, people, and all that Montecito thing, with great tasting food. The fried chicken sandwich has just the right about of fried chicken (i e., it's not too greasy), with a nice soft bun to keep it company. The spicy coleslaw (not that spicy really) was the perfect accomplice. All the other food I saw looked great too. Friendly, if somewhat less than genuine service, but maybe that's how people like it. The chef seemed genuinely nice and concerned about the dining experience.

Dinner roll meets pizza. The crust is something I've never tasted before and I've eaten my share of pizza. Light, fluffy and soft. It's not my personal favorite, but definitely worth a try. You may love it.

The Cocktail glass comes out of the freezer, and then the drink goes in. Excellent! Just the way it always should be.

The district or area manager was forcing me to work a double shift. I made a pizza for my lunch and was about to leave. When he started barking orders. As soon as I had enough I left my food and went home. Never showed up again. After a few days of phone calls. They didn't even let me collect my bonus that I was saving. If you want to disrespect some one. Start with your kids. Their trainer will get you fired to negotiate them better money . If you are training here . Ask the managers if the trainers are training you correctly.or their district managers will chew you out for their trainers mistakes.

Food is OK but the experience was disappointing in many ways. Left waiting for almost twice as long (55 mins) as initially forecasted only to be led to a booth that didn't fit our party's size and after asking to add a stool being told "we normally sit 5 or 6 people here" and left with the only option to split our party . Bill took 15 minutes from the time we asked for it. We had to ask for our water to be refilled about 3 times. Not what I'd expect from an otherwise nice looking place.

Stopped in for a quick bite and drink and wish we had more time to spend. Adirondack chairs line the sidewalk and the patio seating is nice. Inside seating at and around the bar has dark lighting. The Honor Burger was exceptional and deserves praise.

When I was in Santa Barbara I heard over and over again I should come here. Since it is on a corner easy to find. Are at the bar, and immediately got into fun conversations about food, neighborhood etc. Order Old Fashion..it was superb and Macho Salad was one of the best I have ever eaten. Definitely would go back.

This restaurant makes no sense. The hostess told us we were allowed to bring in food from the Honor Market, but when my friends wanted to bring the pizza in, the waitress said it wasn't allowed and didn't provide any sort of explanation. The only reason we decided to wait 30+ minutes for a seat was because the hostess told us we could bring food inside, and my group wanted to eat together instead of separate individual seats outside. Also not sure why they don't serve pizza in the Honor Bar itself.

Atmosphere and service were exceptional. Smoked salmon appetizer was as good as it gets. One thing I cannot get over however is there bun selection for the burger and chicken sandwiches. The bun renders the burger dry and unmanageable and this must be why the serve it to you already cut in half. Management, get rid of the the enormous bun, I promise your burger won’t be soggy.

Had the best time with my husband for our 1 year anniversary at Honor Bar. We had Olivia as our server who was absolutely amazing in every way! She was attentive, sweet, smart and charming. Loved her so! Our sandwich came out cold and Sam delivered a new one to us. Best time, we will be back! x

Ordered an old fashion and they served it in a regular cup with an avalanche of ice! I asked the server if that’s how they normally make them and she said yes. I explained the reason why old fashions come in a ice block and she agreed and said understood. I returned the full drink and asked for it “neat”. At the time of checkout the manager came to me and questioned me if I was sipping on the drink I had returned… the fact that he even dared to ask me that when they clearly don’t know how to make a proper drink rubbed me the wrong way. I told him if there was a problem I will pay for it but I did not want a watered down whiskey. The place is called HONOR BAR , not only did they not honor the basic mixology of a cocktail, they also dared questioned me for it. Food was average at best, we came for the burgers since many reviews said they were “amazing”, I make better burgers in my backyard. Fries were soaked in oil, not crispy at all. Their house coleslaw is the star of the restaurant. Btw their glasses are dirty… they had food on them from the previous customers. Offended and disappointed on how they handled the situation.

The Honor Bar is our tried-and-true source of delicious lunch fare and top-notch service. The whole operation is classy. It's always busy and for good reason. I've tried their specialty sandwiches and french dip and never been disappointed. My wife loves the Macho Salad. The service is alway very crisp and professional. And the room is always busy yet surprisingly comfortable. There are many dining options in Montecito and Santa Barbara. The fact that Honor Bar is always packed is a testimony to its excellence. We will return without hesitation.

Love this place. Hillstone restaurants deliver such consistently great service. We waited outside near the entrance and had snacks and drinks in the comfort of the shade and some comfortable chairs. Our meal was great: - trout dip - burger - kale salad - Arnold Palmer Everything was great here - food, service, ambiance. Kudos to Jana and her team

If you're gonna come here get the Honor Burger. It's the best thing on the menu. A very very close second is the crispy chicken sandwich. You can't go wrong with either of these choices. Parking is always a little challenge in Lower Montecito.

Top-notch burgers in the city! This visit, I tried the beef burger, which was delightful, yet the chicken burger remains my favorite.

One of my favorite restaurants ever. Get a table outside and enjoy unlimited people watching. If you're looking for food, you've gotta try the fried chicken sandwich. Best fried chicken sando I've ever had. Crispy chicken, tangy, zestt slaw, and the bun it's served on hits different. Honorable mention goes to the French dip as well. It's massive and the au jus I could drink by itself. I could not recommend Honor Bar enough.

Hillstone restaurants are the best dining experience and this is no exception. Perfect, comfortable outdoor seating facing coast village road. Above average service and consistently delicious food. The macho salad was well balanced and super flavorful with avocado, cilantro, and dates that paired well with the little blobs of creamy goat cheese and came with a champagne vinegraitte dressing.

I was told that it's the same owner as South Beverly Grill in LA. My friend and I decided to have lunch here on a Saturday. Not exactly a short drive, but the weather was nice. It wasn't very busy when we arrive, but there was about a 20 minute wait for our party of 2. If you have a large group, this isn't the place for your. Their biggest tables and booths seat about 6 people. There were people outside struggling to fit into a table meat for 4. I saw some women sitting along the side, creating their own seats. The outdoor seating area is dog friendly. Several groups had dogs, and the server/hostess even brought out water for the dogs. How cute. Lots of families here. We were seated at a small booth near the front door. We started off with iced teas and an order of the smoked salmon. Smoked Salmon was okay, but don't think I'll order it again. The Chips looked like it would have been a better choice. We shared an order of the fries and I had the Dings Crispy Chicken. Amazing fried chicken sandwich on croissant bread, with coleslaw and (I think some kind of honey mustard). Tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Fantastic! Fries were fresh and crispy. Cute little place. Resonable prices and friendly staff. Service was fast. Bathrooms are located upstairs behind the building. Parking available before in the garage behind the restaurant. Note: You can grab some gift items in their market.... or pizza, coffee, and cookies.

I love this place! Awesome service and great food. I enjoy sitting at the bar - the bartenders can recommend a good drink, and the food comes out pretty quick. There may be a wait, but it's usually pretty minimal and totally worth it.
