We had a wonderful stay here. The complimentary wine and champagne is a nice touch. We stayed in one of the suites which exceeded expectations. Less than a ten minute walk to the beach or State st. Would stay here again.

A nice place to stay while in Santa Barbara. The rooms are good size and pleasant. The staff is exceptional. They offer a nice breakfast at no additional charge as well as wine and snacks in the late afternoon/early evening. They also offer other free amenities like bicycles and videos. They are located right off the 101 and are walking distance to the beach and State St. Highly recommended.

Very cute place. Would stay here again if in the area. I stayed for my birthday and they gave me free champagne, balloons, a card and chocolates. They do free wine and cheese in the lobby as well as cookies and other snacky stuff. They also have beach cruisers they loan out for the day. The smell of sulfur was pretty strong coming from the drains and the place is pretty old but well maintained. Nice people who work here, quiet area for what it is.

My wife and I booked a vacation for her birthday, 5/4. We checked in on 5/2 and left 5/5. It was the most wonderful time. The staff from desk staff to maintenance staff were so friendly and accommodating that they made the trip away from home very much like home. Everything was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was included as was nightly wine and cheese. The local wine served was excellent. They provided bikes free for residents. The pool and hot tub served to relax us from the day of sightseeing. Beautiful ambience with outdoor seating. All in all we both highly recommend Brisas Del Mar to anyone wanting an excellent hotel located only two blocks from the beach. We look forward to returning. Brisas Del Mar is the best. Thank you for an exceptional vacation.

We had a wonderful 3-day long weekend stay at the hotel. Everything was top notch, including the rooms and service. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of champagne in the fridge with glasses. King size bed was comfy. With the amenities offered, we will be back! Deluxe continental breakfast was better than most places - vegetable egg bites, fresh cut fruit (cantaloupe, honeydew melon, strawberries), yogurt parfaits, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, pastries). The daily happy hour is offered every day from 4-8pm with a charcuterie board of various cheeses, crackers, fruit, nuts, and red and white wines. The ability to eat/drink either inside or outside in the beautiful weather was refreshing. We took full advantage of the free beach cruiser bicycles and appreciated the helmets too. Everything is within close easy biking - we biked to the beach, restaurants, all around town. Our car didn't move from the time we arrived until we left. All the hotel staff we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful.

This place was great. We got a suite and it was quite affordable. I would love to stay there again. The breakfast was better than average. You can walk to the beach and to downtown, and it's so pretty there that it's fun to walk around.

This place had a great location and a fast and friendly downstairs lobby. Everything was clean and we were in a suite which was a lot of fun! It had a nice living room, kitchen and dining room area and a separate bedroom and bathroom. It's what you would expect for a hotel in Santa Barbara price wise, but we were definitely pleased. They ran out of parking when we came home from dinner late at night but they called up their security guy who showed us where we could park safely. It was really nice of them and it showed that they cared about their clients. We would definitely stay here again!

Surprisingly quiet for being next to a gas station and 7-11. Free easy parking. Very comfy beds. Continental breakfast. Coffee available 24/7. Wine/snacks daily at 4:30. Free to use very smooth, comfy bikes. Small pool area. Easy walk or bike to waterfront and State Street for shops/restaurants. Lovely, helpful staff.

You can rent bikes for free and they have daily happy hour from 1630 to 1800 - Merlot, Chardonnay, very nice hot spiced apple cider and cheese + crackers. Room style is quite old school. 8ft swimming pool + jacuzzi. Free parking, poor WiFi connection.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, close to the beach. Complimentary beach cruisers made getting around town fun. Amazing room. Lovely continental breakfast in the mornings and wine and cheese in the afternoons. Can't wait to go back

We recently had a lovely stay here. They upgraded us to a mini suite with a bottle of champagne. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. So comfortable I slept 9+ hours the first night we were there, soooo comfy. Free and secure parking was a definite plus. We expected a few things for breakfast but they had quite the spread! Fruits, breads, eggs, cereal and oatmeal as well as coffees and teas and juices. The afternoon happy hour was fun as well with wine, sangria and snacks. It was very nice and better than we expected and I only say that because sometimes there are crazy reviews. Close enough to walk to the beach area and restaurants. The front desk was very nice as well, Arron was very pleasant to deal with. Would stay here again for sure.

Brisas del mar was a great experience. This has become our best favorite hotel to stay at in SB. Mickey was great at check in. The rooms were great also. Would definitely recommend booking if you are considering staying in Santa Barbara. 10 minute walk to the funk zone and about 7 minutes to the beach.

The staff where nice , I had booked 3 nights but decided to check out after the first night , reason Beeing that they had construction in the hotel starting at 8 00 AM and that woke us up . It was very inconvenient. Other than that the hotel it self was good , they also give a complimentary wine which I forgot about, and also breakfast included. Fairly close to the beach you can walk there and also close to other attractions. 7 eleven is near by along with gas station.

ELI made all the difference between a 4 atar and my 5 stars. It was late when I decided to stay in Santa Barbara. Needed a reasonable price, wanted a pool and hot tub! Arrived around 7:30 tired and hungry - sweetly Eli had left the โ€œwine, cheese, salami and snacks happy hourโ€ food out for me to enjoy which I did. Being a woman alone he kindly walked me to the pool area to insure I understood where my room was etc. He was extremely well dressed and well groomed which was very appealing. Rooms were very clean, had microwaves and refrigerators. Very comfortable bed, nice toiletries and a full bottle of complimentary sparkling white wine and bottled waters in the refrigerator.

Such a cute, quaint hotel. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Super comfy beds. Super clean too. They clean on request which is perfect for me (I can make my own bed lol). The breakfast was simple and delicious. The happy hour was a nice touch too. At the front desk, youโ€™ll find many helpful workers. Mickey was especially helpful and knowledgeable of Santa Barbara. He gave excellent restaurant recommendations and even helped get us a reservation. The weather didnโ€™t allow us to use the pool or hot tub but they looked very inviting. Would definitely stay here again.

I am excited for an opportunity to book at Brisas del Mar again. The accommodations were roomy and comfortable with a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area, full size bathroom, and bedroom. We made use of complementary bicycles to explore the area, and enjoyed complementary wine in the evening. We also enjoyed the complementary breakfast in the morning. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful in recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. The hotel grounds are beautiful and welcoming, and it is located within walking distance to the Funk Zone. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Santa Barbara.

A hidden gem. Pretty architecture with many private gathering places, a quaint lobby (with a continental breakfast in the AM and Wine service in the PM). The pool and spa are a great comfort, too. Everyone on staff were very friendly.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this awesome property. The lobby was lovely. The wifi was strong, the rooms were pretty clean and comfortable, and the staff was super warm and friendly. They have a family atmosphere that translates to the service they provide to guests. We appreciated the free parking, wifi, breakfast, and happy hour. I especially liked the free bike rental, and it was close enough to the water that I could pedel to Stearns Wharf.

Great little 3 star hotel with awesome service. Best thing is the location as itโ€™s close to the harbor, beaches, Stearns Wharf, Funk Zone and short walk or ride share to State Street. Stay also includes free use of nice bikes, great continental breakfast and happy hour with nice wine and snacks from 4:30 to 6:30 plus a bottle of champagne in your room!

Nice rooms and friendly staff. Don't pay resort fees at fancy hotels. Stay here and be well cared for.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. I booked this hotel because there was package deal for a sunset cruise tour. We got room #8 which if you're in the bedroom, you'll basically get no internet service from T-Mobile. I don't know if it's because the room is right next to a car wash machine but you also don't get the hotel wifi signal either. The room was nice, especially with the kitchen and they give us a complimentary champagne bottle. We didn't use the pool but we did eat at there little outdoor picnic area. The customer service we received was excellent during check-in process and checked-out. The only issue we had was a guest on top of us or next door to us was smoking marijuana so the smell came into our room with no windows or door open.

Pros: Good location. About 10 min walking distance from the beach. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Free cruiser bikes. Cons: the bed in our room was old and felt like mattress sagging to the floor. I hope they buy new mattresses sometime soon. Overall we enjoyed the experience. We did not have reservation and they were able to accommodate us on a last minute notice. For the management: Thank you for the pleasant stay and sorry that we complained about the mattress.
