What a spectacular experience! Loved everything about this place. My boy was having a tantrum and wanted strawberry jam and the manager of the establishment happened to have some that she brought from her car! The food is spectacular. Everyone was great. Service was great. Very reasonable prices for spectacular seafood!

โ€‹We stopped in for dinner on a Friday. The wait was going to be about 45 minutes, but the hostess said we could take a seat at the oyster bar or any of the surrounding high top tables/booths. As luck would have it, we found a booth that was just being cleared. Our experience from that moment to the end of our meal was almost perfect. Wait staff was attentive, food came out quickly and warm, complimentary bread was hot out of the oven and delicious. The clam chowder soup was also spot on if you like thinner broth. My hubby's swordfish was oh so good! I tend to avoid swordfish as it often is dry, but here it was moist and tender! My rockfish was over seasoned but when I mentioned it to the server, she immediately offered to bring out another plate. I declined but moments later the manager came by and apologized and again offered to bring out another plate. So Lure also excelled in customer service.

One of the best charbroiled oysters I have had. Their raw oysters were very fresh too. Also got the cioppino which was loaded with seafood and flavor, all for a very reasonable price.

Great seafood selection. Selection of oysters are great. Fried shrimp are perfect for people who donโ€™t like fish but will eat shrimp. TVs at the bar make it great to come in for happy hour and watch the game while in a nicer setting.

Good restaurant by the shopping center. Big portion sizes that left us very full. The food was all decent with a lot of fresh seafood. Most entrees come with sides you can choose, I would say the coleslaw and fries were good. The rice was a bit dry. Service was friendly and prompt and they allow dogs in the outdoor dining area.

Overall great experience, Iโ€™m always pleased with the food and ingredients at The Lure. Tonight in SB was a bit short staffed, was about 30min to be seated & I got one refill the entire night. Iโ€™m bummed to see a few items gone from the menu including the lobster roll, I was informed tonight it was discontinued. Portions are always good and filling & tonight was no exception. If for nothing else, I always recommend stopping in for some clam chowder here with the fresh bread.

Lure Fish House is super delicious! We had the oyster and the price point was decent. I highly recommend the Veracruz Fish chowder. I don't normally see fish chowder on the menu so it was worth a try. The flavors are there! Tangy and balanced and you can taste the fish in it. For the entree, you can't go wrong with the lobster and crab ravioli. The portion size is just perfect, and there is a generous amount of crab and lobster inside the ravioli. I wasn't overly stuffed but content. Top it off with a strawberry bellini or any of their mixed drinks and you got a satisfying meal.

Great place for a meal. Fantastic clam chowder. Lobster roll was nice although the bread could be better toasted. They can customize for me to add a crab cake. Overall good experience.

Delicious New England Clam Chowder, one of the best I have ever tried in the country. Their ceviche comes in the right portion to be enjoyed as appetizer or side dish to one of their many entrees. Next time I am trying their selection of oysters ๐Ÿฆช Outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommended if you are staying in Santa Barbara or made a stop pit.

Great place for seafood at a reasonable price! Given the quality and portion I would say it is a great deal. Would recommend for visitors.

Great restaurant with a decent selection of wine by the glass. Very nice atmosphere, ki d staff, quick service. Very high food quality especially the oysters. Online mobile payment is a great solution for payment. Lots of booths are cozy and private and there's plenty of them. Among of my best meals this year sofar.

We just had lunch here and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is very relaxing and clean. The staff were very pleasant and sincere. I had the Strawberry and Kale salad and it was great. Not overly dressed, and flavorful. My rock fish tacos were very tasty. The fish was just slightly over done, but overall extremely pleased.

Easy quick place to eat for good quality food. Atmosphere is cute and nice inside. But they have lovely outdoor seating so we picked outside. Calamari was very good and perfect to share. Would definitely go back

My colleague's and I just landed in Santa Barbara for our first conference in two years. To celebrate our arrival in the post covid world we decided to grab lunch at Lure. We arrived around 2.30pm, and they were fairly busy in the main dining area. Fortunately there was ample seating in the bar area. The lunch menu had lots of great seafood options. The prices were very reasonable for lunch too. One of my colleague's waa accidentally given the dinner menu and the items were considerably more. I say go here for lunch. The food for dinner was pretty much the same but about 40% more expensive. Service here was good and the ambiance was great. I got a cup of clam Chowder and the Salmon bowl. That was extremely filling. My colleague's got some other items but the one they enjoyed the most were the fish tacos. I'd say get those if you like them tacos ๐ŸŒฎ! So if you are hungry for some tasty seafood head here if you're in the area like we did :).

Had a great lunch with friends! We had the sand dabs, charbroiled oysters and 2 trout amandine .Served up a hot loaf of sourdough bread with seasoned butter was great! We started splitting a crab cake appetizer- there are 3 and 3 of us! These were presented nicely, but we all agreed we'd pass again next time...way too much filling and didn't have a lot of crab for the price. I got 6 charbroiled oyster and all wanted to try. OMG!!! SO absolutely delicious! Perfect fire cook with butter, garlic and parmesan and parsley! Use the bread in the butter ,garlic and with the white wine we ordered...yummy! Our fish entrees also impressed, one with sand dabs in a butter/lemon, caper sauce, she said was great; 2 were trout almandine dishes, very delish! I'd say my side of sweet potato fries blew me away! Hot and flavorful. I took them home leftover, not expecting much, but they were back to life in the air fryer! Great ,great servers in Sara and another lady (sorry-didn't get name) made for a well tended get together. Overall great food AND service!! We'll be back soon!! Sad Follow up review (11/30/23): We did go back several times and had the same great service and food as before; either in the bar or dining area. However; the last time there, to celebrate the end of a job, we chose to go there and had a terrible experience! Sat in the bar area, it was a weekday, 5ish, and wasn't crowded. A young lady announced she'd be our server and took a drink order and was never to be seen again. A different server brought out our 2 glasses and left. I noticed a huge broken piece of glass missing from the edge of my glass. When we could get anyone's attention, they took it away...but didn't return for quite a while. We were there to eat dinner and finally, literally flagged someone to take our food order. There was a table close by us that was recieving a lot of attention from all the staff and getting served quickly as if it was a co worker. But we couldn't get ANYONE to come over. A young lady came and we asked for something and said we weren't sure WHO our server was, she said"WELL! you are sitting in the bar!" Rude.(Table IN the huge bar area). Meanwhile, she was behind the bar chatting with the main bartender and grabbed cut up fruits from the bar fridge with her bare hands and ate them! Our meal was brought out by yet another member and the Sea Bass was as delicious as ever!! Kitchen still doing a great job! Sitting there for a long time, waiting for a server-we wanted to see the dessert menu, the fruit eater dropped off the check. We said,we'd like to see dessert. We ordered and she came back again and dropped the check before the dessert arrived. We assumed she didn't hear our order, but the dessert did arrive after. She picked up the check book, but I told her there wasn't anything in there b/c we weren't done! We had a gift card and cash we used to put in the folder for the proper amount plus tip. No one picked it up and we just left with no reciept . The same young woman was loudly saying goodbye from behind the bar. A really sorry service experience from Lure!! Must have had no manager on. Disappointing last meal before going home.

The ambience was good..they had wide range of seafood varieties. Tried their tequila lime shrimp, french fries and Veracruz platter.. I would say they made justice to their price ๐Ÿ˜

Sit at their counter and be served by Kevin (super nice guy) . Service was quick. Baja tacos even better! Menu is on the expensive side- but the food well worth it.

Good food, usually pretty consistent. Tequila shrimp pasta was good although there pasta was slightly undercooked and it was smoking hot when served, indicating a microwave may have been used. Rockfish bowl was also good but unremarkable.
