If I had to recommend one restaurant in SB it would have to be Savoy. It’s simply the best. Quality, service, atmosphere, consistency, etc. it hits on all cylinders all the time. I recommend the turkey fritter with sweet potatoes with the kale blueberry salad. You will not be disappointed... hell you might contemplate moving to SB just to frequent Savoy more often!

Gluten free and LOVE this place! So many gluten free choices that as absolutely to LIVE for. I would go all the way back to Santa Barbara just for their turkey fritter and chocolate chip cookie. The diner is absolutely charming. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and super friendly. Way to go Savoy. Thank you for a great dining experience. Go here. Give them money. Eat good food. #glutenfreeflyer

The Savoy Cafe and Deli is awesome! It's pretty inside and out. It's located on Figueroa, across from a city parking lot and the city bus station. The food, omg, the food! So much to choose from; salads, soups, and so much more. If you are looking for a place to gather with friends or to take a quiet moment for yourself, this is the place. Enjoy!

Delicious breakfast on these chilly December morning here in Santa Barbara. Started things off with a gluten free carrot spice muffin, then a veggie tofu scrambled with a side of organic greens and house made gluten free toast! Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious! Highly recommend paying a visit and tasting for yourself! I especially appreciated the variety of gluten free and healthy options!

NOT KID FRIENDLY - RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL OWNER I grew up in Santa Barbara and always loved their food and the quality of their food. The staff never seemed to be super friendly but that never kept me from returning. Today I had a very unfortunate experience where I was dining outside in the back patio, 8 months pregnant, with my toddler and my friend and her toddler and baby. Our children were playing like all kids do, next to the fountain and moved a couple chairs, nothing extreme or very disruptive. There were only 2 other diners in the area and we were keeping an eye on them to make sure they didn't get out of hand, as we always do. The owner walked in and in a very disrespectful and condescending way and started telling us off that we had to watch our children and that they weren't allowed to do x, y z...I would understand if our children were out of control but they were not at all. To be honest I would expect a little more empathy from another human being. Understanding that yea, kids are not ideal for everyone, but sometimes moms want to get out too and we can't tie up our children. So bottom line, I don't support restaurants that have rude and disrespectful staff and owners and it makes me sad that people can't have sympathy for mothers who are doing some of the hardest jobs in the world.

Great place for breakfast! We tested the salmon plate for breakfast with fresh orange juice and a pot of peach blossom tea. We loved it all and highly recommend!

My husband and I returned a few times during our three month stay in Santa Barbara. The staff were also helpful. I do wish the menu was a bit bigger; it is hard to see from afar but once you get up front staff will help you with all questions. We ordered the turkey fritter each time and also had carrot cake and lemon bars. The desserts are definitely enough to share between two people each. We love the environment and its homey feel.

Went for a bicycle ride with the wife and decided to stop at Safoy Cafe & Deli, plus had it on my list to try. I was a little worried that it was too foo-foo for me, but I was wrong. When it comes to food I like easy and simple, not a fan of fancy food. They had a lot of of fancy food tho. I ordered a roast beef sandwich on sourdough with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato and cucumbers(foo-foo). When it came I got a turkey sandwich . The waitress said they would make me a new sandwich, but I said I'll eat the turkey. I hate to see food wasted. The turkey sandwich was delicious. All the ingredients tasted so fresh. The bread was great. My wife ordered the Italian wedding soup, the soup was very good, made from scratch. We also got a peanut butter cookie and snickerdoodle cookie, both were very good. I can see why Savoy has such great reviews, all of our food tasted so fresh and delicious.

Great place for brunch. We were looking for a place that is vegan friendly. Surprisingly, there aren't so many restaurants in the downtown Santa Barbara being vegan friendly. (We also have someone in the group who is not vegan/ vegetarian in the group). It was hard to find something that would satisfy everyone. This place is definitely the spot! They have a quite few vegan options and some regular sandwiches or salad. We had gluten free pancakes, veggie scrambled, vegan burritos and el cape which is a grilled portobello sandwich. They were ALL GOOD! The food comes with a huge proportion that I got so full after finish eating the meal. The taste of food was certainly thumbs up. Environment was clean, somewhat crowded. There is an "outdoor" seating where you can bring your dog to sit there. They also provide water for dogs. So sweet! I'd definitely recommend here and come back again!

Gobble Gobble Gobble! A true bite of deliciousness! I’m here in Santa Barb for a month to house/petsit; and thought I’d try something different. This place was featured on Triple D a while back and I checked out if they were still open and serving up the turkey fritter featured on the show. I got mine with a side of the sweet potato au gratin & a roll. This is delicious! It.will.not.disappoint. I get the feeling nothing will disappoint here! So many choices! And the place was hopping, the energy was friendly and relaxed. Really a nice experience. Real china plates and silverware, plenty of choices. I wanted to try everything! They have choices for everyone Vegan, vegetarian, keto, gluten-free, etc. And the vegan choices were so great, I almost did decide not to give this a go; but I did seriously want to try it. And I’ll make my own vegan version from here on out. Sometimes, I just want to be a native. 🥰 (Oh, and for me, this is enough for two servings!) Very reasonable at $11.49.

Amazing food at reasonable prices, I got the gaviota sandwich and my friend built her own salad, fair price for both, I especially enjoyed the fact that the sandwich wasn't only delicious, but also filling, I'm usually a hungry person and it hit the spot just right. The salad bar has a wide variety of delicious quality looking options. Another friend got an iced latte and said it was really good as well. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good brunch food without paying too much.

Went in to get some food really quick, while waiting my baby tripped & hit her face on the corner of one of their wine boxes that was sitting out. Not one person who worked their came up to us to ask or see if she was ok. The staff just walked right by us & gave me looks because she was crying. She really messed up her face and the way the staff made me feel afterwards I’ll never step foot in that place again. We ended up not ordering anything and walking right out. Super upsetting!

This whole place exudes warm and joyful yumminess! The food is as beautiful as it is healthy and delicious. We are always greeted with warm smiles and attentive, professional, knowledgeable staff who make the very best oatmilk dirty chai we've ever had. Thanks for such a great stop😍

This place has a great vibe! We had breakfast this morning to some mellow tunes and friendly staff. Breakfast portions are large, and the fresh orange juice is some of the very best. Oh and the gluten free carrot cake muffins were super fluffy and tasty. Well done!

Plenty of organic ingredients, family run. Many vegan and some gluten free options. Good for brunch and lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. Easy parking nearby Orange French toast. Avo toast can be made even if not listed. Order at counter and they bring it to you

Not much in way of vegan eats here. Tried to dine in, even to the point of just having hot chocolate (no such luck, not vegan). Presentation and atmosphere is kool, yet can skip awaiting for something to emerge on the plant based side. Customer service friendly. Has mini store. Outdoor seating. Public parking across the street.

Hands down one of my favorite places to have an organic meal, they have a make your own salad bar, a hot food case, amazing beverage selections and Chelsea makes AMAZING coffee drinks! Make sure to stop by if you’re in town looking for something organic or feel good food

Savoy is such a tasty spot! I appreciate and have loved all the gluten free options including pastries and desserts. The 2 or 3 salad plate is my go to with pesto green beans, Chinese chicken salad and whatever quinoa salad is on offer! Always delicious!

One of the best quiches I’ve ever had! I had the garden vegetable with Swiss quiche, the texture was perfect. I also had a delicious cappuccino. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to food and coffee. Plenty of seating in front and more seating out back. Parking lot in back of building. Dog friendly, there was a pup sitting in the back seating area with owners. Staff was super friendly. Very affordable- for two people we spent around $40.

Awesome buffet and items to order. Their campfire toast completes the meal. They have all kinds of kombucha and other drinks in the cooler along with cold brew and espresso.

Not recommended if you’re a student and/or you have a limited budget. The people are nice, but this is very much a place for wealthier, older professionals. The food is very overpriced for the portion and quality you get. I paid $18 for 1 slice of regular toast, 3 tiny sausages, scrambled eggs, and a cup of fruit. I’m sorry, but unless you’re really into the organic thing, you’re better off finding breakfast at IHOP.
