Awesome place to dine at. I absolutely enjoyed the Chicken Fajitas, salsas, guacamole appetizer, tortillas, mango margarita, and vegetables. A must try place, I didn't even get to finish all of my fajitas, and they were so delicious. Highly recommended. They have both outdoor and indoor seating available. Parking looked available on-site but we parked across the street.

This cafe is located in the Arlington Plaza. Food and drinks are delicious. We were served with chips, salsa and beans corn dip. Guacamole was perfect! This guacamole had just enough spicy. I had the rocky shrimp tacos. I enjoyed my meal. Beautiful day to eat outside. There is seating inside as well as outside. Parking is available in the Arlington park lot.

Happy Cinco de Mayo! If you are in Santa Barbara, you have to check out the Margaritas at Carlitos! They are so GOOD! My friend got the Blood Orange Margaritas and I got the Cadillac. Both are very good. I do miss the big saucer-type glasses though. I had the Sizzling Steak Fajitas, yum! My friend had Halibut Tacos. The service was a little slow, and the waiter didn't check on us. But the quality of the food and drink made things pretty enjoyable.

Great patio location with many (but probably not all) of your familiar favorites. Pro-tip: call for reservations, you can’t make them online… especially for weekends and festivals Also, upper patio is better than lower, lower is better than the parklette… and all can be heated if things get chilly. Service is usually good but can get a little distracted when the patio gets busy, but always consistently pretty solid.

This is a great place to go to if you're going to see a show at the Arlington theater. It's right across the street. The last time I was here is was during the film festival. They have really good food and drinks. I love their chips and salsa. Whenever I come here I always get their steak fajitas. I think the meat is of really high qualify and it tastes excellent. Hard to go wrong with fajitas! Be sure to get one of their margaritas. The tequila is top shelf. Parking is a bit of a hassle though. Your best bet is to park on a side street.

I remember the food was different. I asked the waiter if the chef is new because I saw a big difference in the food and presentation, and I was definitely right. They changed the chef. The flavor is totally different.

The food and service were superb. I loved the guacamole and sangria. They give you a lot of food. You can eat outside on the patio or inside. Everyone was very friendly.

Wonderful margaritas, really enjoyed the Winter Special "Paloma" as well as their shrimp tapas, Gambas Al Ajillo. Excellent chips and salsa with a side of black beans and corn. Friendly, efficient, professional staff, I felt very welcomed.

Love the atmosphere. Drinks are great and food is a little pricier for Mexican food but it’s worth every penny for the atmosphere and location. Fajitas are great! Pozole is also amazing.

I really wanted to like Carlitos. We'd visited before and did not love it. But we wanted to give it a second chance. Oh well! The service was good. Super professional. The outdoor dining was also comfortable. And what a great location for touring State Street. But we did not love the nachos or margaritas. There were way too many black beans in the nachos. And their flavor was OK. Nothing memorable. The margarita berry/jalapeno margarita was tasty enough but small for the price. There is simply too much great Mexican fare in SB to return to Carlitos.

I enjoyed my time at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and our waitress Carlita was so The guacamole was so good, had a nice heat to it. The steak was good, a little fatty, but the flavor was good. The chile relleno was my favorite!!

First time here. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful even though it was extremely busy. The chips and salsas were very good and gluten-free. I had the chicken enchiladas. I requested extra sauce and sliced radishes. It was delicious. My companion had the steak fajitas, the meat was cooked to perfection but it was a bit bland. On the plus side they have lots of gluten-free choices.

Love this restaurant! My hubby and I eat here when we're in town. The quality service and yummy food is what we look forward to. I had the Pozole soup with pork. It was absolutely the best I've ever had. Very flavorable. My husband had the chicken and halibut tacos. He loved them. The guacamole, fresh tortia chips and handmade corn tortias were the best. Thank you Carlitos for the awesome service and delicious food! We'll be back again!😋

We came on a Monday night, the patio was full so we decided to eat inside. It was nice, we were the only ones inside. Jose was our server, he was awesome. My frozen Margarita was STRONG... so he got me a shot of lime juice. I'm a lightweight with drinking though. They gave us chips/salsa/and corn/bean dip. We had the steak fajitas and vegetable tostada. We ordered and got within 10 min. They were both delicious. I would definitely recommend. Everyone was very pleasant.
