This place is an exceptional breakfast spot! Every last thing was fantastic. Be advised the portions are large.

Super fast service Fun Atmosphere Beautiful Mountains to look at. Food is good. I still go here at least once a week. The Eggs Benedict is my favorite! Served with delicious hash browns!

My friend and I went to Farmer Boy this morning. I used to go to the old one almost every other day, as I lived right down the street. I had read that when Brophy Bros., bought the restaurant they would keep the same menu, but they haven't. I really miss the Railroad French Toast. Today, we had the Santa Barbara Locals Omelet. It was good. Good portions. The service was great. The interior is set up to look like an old-fashioned diner. I love the photos on the wall, set up with classy glass. The booths are spacious and comfortable. There is a good menu, lots of great selections and it has lots of value at the price point. The restaurant is clean and well-appointed. If you haven't tried the new edition of Farmer Boy check them out. Brophy Bros., has done a wonderful job.

Such a fun place for breakfast. The service was excellent and the food was delish! I had the salmon eggs Benedict and we shared a short stack of pancakes which were also yummy.

Stopped by on a road trip. The food was incredible. I got the pasole which was made from scratch. So fresh and delicious. Hubby got the tri-tip sandwich. It was incredible! Our waitress was warm and inviting and made us feel at home. We got the cinnamon roll to go and it was the perfect little road trip treat (probably even better if eaten right away). Highly recommend!

Check everything they box for you. We order take out. It’s all ready and I ask them to add a slice of pie. Thinking it would take a min or so. I literally had to wait over 15 mins when the pies were sitting in the front display window! When I get home this is the apple pie they served me. Looking like a rat had eaten off the top of it and for the record it was not an open faced pie or anything like that. They had them in the display up front and they looked great! We have been going here ever since they opened. Local places like this need to treat their customers better! It’s just unacceptable!!

Yes this place is a Santa Barbara local breakfast spot, small venue but serving big flavor. My tomatillo omellet and fried country potatos were perfect and with a fluffy pancake, I'm stuffed 😋

The breakfast was so good. Our family got the chicken fried steak, toad in a hole sandwich, avocado egg benedict, and citrus French toast. If you're in the Santa Barbara area, definitely check this place out

I really like this place. It's a small cafe with delicious breakfasts. The staff is very polite, they notice the smallest details, you can see that they have a teamwork. The atmosphere is pleasant, everything looks clean and well-groomed. delicious cappuccino. Food cooked perfectly, everything is fresh. Prices are average. I want to come back here again. I recommend this place

Been Farmer Boy customer for 30-40 years. It used to be somewhat of a greasy spoon but always friendly staff and owner. We moved away 4 years ago and coming back to it was refreshing and they've made some great changes: still friendly, efficient and attentive... but food, comfort and cleanliness have gone up a few notches. Glad to know there still are places like this.

Cool diner, good selection on menu with some unusual items. Attractive pictures in the theme of a farm boy. Don’t miss the Danny sign by restrooms. Delicious food. Wonderful fellowship.

Delicious! I had their signature omelet. It was more than I could eat! My husband had eggs and French toast. He said his was very good. Not a very large restaurant, but there is indoor and outdoor seating.

Breakfast was great, lots of food and very good. The 2 eyed toad hole-in-sandwich was great, ask for extra napkins.

A very nice breakfast visit (waffle combo, breakfast burger, 3 egg scramble). We were served quickly and luckily we came early enough to avoid the rush. It quickly filled up (masks required). Waitress repeatedly returned for refills and food came quickly. I wished I'd tried some of their specialities but I went to the favorites. They do a lunch also.

Came to have breakfast while my husband was having surgery. The food was good, the waitress was friendly and the place was clean, quiet everything I thought it would be. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs…..not bad. I finished everything on my plate. I would come back again.

Excellent breakfast. I hadn’t been since I was a kid, but it’s still got excellent high quality food and a great atmosphere. The whole vibe is a throw back to the mid century diner with an elevated feel. The eggs Benedict was the best I’ve had anywhere, and the French toast and waffle were top notch.

Great brunch on Saturday morning with 15 of us the morning after our family wedding. Although they had a line of people waiting to be seated, they put is in and we were seated in two tables at the back. We had heart service and food was good, and the cinnamon rolls were the BEST. Everyone was happy with their meals.

Fantastic food and exceptional, friendly service. The eggs benedict and Baja omelet were very tasty. Coffee was good and the hash browns were too tempting, even for someone who isn’t much of a potato person. Our server gave very helpful suggestions to accommodate one of us who was on a keto diet. We will absolutely come back the next time we’re in town.

Great service, poorly prepped food. The pancakes were flat, they didn't rise at all, although they did have a nice brown color. The hash browns were cold. The chilaquiles were hot and cold.

What a great establishment. Friendly staff, clean and inviting dining room. The coffee was excellent and the bacon and sausage very tasty! Highly recommended breakfast stop. Easy parking, inside and outside dining options.
