Food was excellent. Ne er had the nachos before, definitely glad I did. Service was great.

Oops. Forgot to take a picture before I started eating. This was the bourbon chicken skillet no peppers. It was fantastic. The best cooked Denny’s food I’ve ever received. The only thing I’d say is I could’ve used more sauce. There was so much food though, I’m not sure more sauce would’ve fit. Service was excellent. Very clean restaurant. This should be the Benchmark Denny’s which all others should live up to and strive to duplicate.

This is an excellent choice for patio dining during Covid restrictions. They have a lovely area with heating lamps on chilly days. We dined there today with our grandchildren, and everyone had so much fun! Miranda was our server, and she was excellent. Our food amd service were very good.

Food here is usually great. I recommend anyone to try the slamburger. Staff was quick to sit us. Great friendly atmosphere.

Completely understaffed. We were a large group. The waiter did his best and went out of his way to accommodate. Unfortunately, they just didn't have the staff to accommodate this location in any capacity. Even a small party of 2 or 3 had to wait excessively long. Normal Dennys cuisine.

The employees were nice, inside was clean. I hadn’t been to a Denny’s in a long while, and we decided to go yesterday evening. I asked for a water and coffee and got my coffee but never got my water. When we ordered our food, and since I didn’t get my water, I asked for a soda and didn’t get it for a long while even though the person I was with got theirs after we placed our food orders. I had to politely ask/remind again which I hate to do as I don’t want to be an annoyance or come off rude. No big deal. I got a California club, and the meat was wet/slimey, strange texture, the bacon was hardly there, paper thin, and didn’t have good flavor either. I took two bites but that’s all I could muster. The seasoned fries were decent though.

Denny's is a pretty great place to go for a quick bite when you're in a hurry. It's always consistent and generally good food. The breakfast is always nice but I also really like the burger and fries. Their milkshakes are surprisingly good as well. Parking is a plenty as there is a free lot that goes around the building. They are located on upper state next to the gas station.

Not busy today, so service was pleasant and better than usual. My eggs and potatoes were lukewarm, surprising since they weren't busy, but the waitress was quick to get my meal heated up, and the omelette and hash brown potatoes were delicious...and I don't usually care for hash browns.

Service was amazing. Food and service was fast. Overall, food tasted great. Unfortunately, my potatoes and vegetables were cold.

Miranda is the young manager there and she was so helpful and she gave me a little Bible and loved on Little Star dog! But I would never eat here unless I was in a pinch because it's commercially grade food and they have no public restroom

It’s 8:30pm on a Friday evening and I wanted a Chocolate Milk Shake. You know!, a REAL milk shake! Not “soft serve” my from powder. Real ice cream and real chocolate sauce (I’m guessing Hersheys Brand). It was delicious to the last drop (slurp)! Give it a try. Remember it’s a “diner” not one of those fancy gourmet restaurants. You’re gonna get patty melts and cheeseburgers and french fries and iceberg lettuce salads. But also remember, this is Santa Barbara… And food is here would never put up with a horrible eatery.

Dominick is a stellar server. All four of us were very cared for as we had dinner. Excellent! Thank you, Dominick.

Disappointing! Price listed online for turkey dinner was 13.59. We were charged $15.99 and told prices varied by location. Did not expect this from a chain restaurant. You fooled me once but will not fool me twice. Sorry!

NIGHT SHIFT NIGHTMEAR… Worst experience ever. So I showed up here after a concert around 3am on Saturday December 10th 2022 to a rude girl that took at least 15 minutes to even take my order. She was trying to say that my bill was fake my twenty dollar bill.. and then after she looked annoyed she finally let me place an order for me and my boyfriend. I took a too go order but due to him running late I had asked if I could begin my meal at a table and she said no at first and said “no because I have to clean a table” and there was only one other customer here. Well after waiting for her to ALLow me to sit down and eat the food I paid for I was sitting down on my phone waiting on my boyfriend when a different women yelled and me and sacred me saying “YOU CANT SLEEPIN HERE THIS ISNT A SHEALTER.” …. I was appalled I don’t know what she was implying but for being the only place open to get food at this hour for being such a nice area I feel we paying customers should get respect. I felt uncomfortable unwanted like I had to be eating fast or get out of the way I’ve never experienced this before anywhere… don’t come here guys these ladies are really unwelcoming! The food was yummy but I also felt dinners and places like this were places to make you feel comfortable where you can work on your computer sip a coffee not be harressed

Uber eats is great for Denny's! On time and the food is fresh! Pancakes at 10 pm?...oh yes!

Left the cheese off my order to start. Then the waitress and cook must be BF/GF because the ran around behind in the cooking area and I never saw her after she dropped my food off. The couple behind me never had their ticket to pay left with them nor did I and no refills whiles the flirting party was going on...real circus at this one!

It’s Denny’s. Leaving a review just to say that I’ve had a hard time finding comfort food / fried food that is up to bar with the bar food in the Midwest and East. The chicken fingers here gave me the fix I need. Honestly better than any others I’ve tried in SB

We come to this Denny's about once a month but have started to bring our own silverware. The dishwasher can't seem to wash them to where they're clean. Breakfasts and lunches are good, but I've not had a good dinner there yet. Don't buy the fish, do buy the pancakes and sandwiches.

This Dennys has always met and exceeded out expectations for outstanding customer service and great food. They do a great job of making the customer happy and they have the best pancakes.

My family and I had dinner at this restaurant and it was okay. Short staff. We had to wait around for a coffee refill.

Dennys is my go to after working through the nights. Food is served quickly. Waitress' are pleasant and the cooks know how to prepare the food. It's reasonably priced and very convenient

We made the mistake of eating here after the lunch rush about 2:30 p.m. we were pretty much the only people in the place. We were told we can sit anywhere but we're never given menus. We had to get up and get our own menus after about 5 minutes. The waitress immediately came over and asked what we wanted to order not realizing we just had to get up and get our own menus seconds before. The food came in a timely fashion and was good however we never got any silverware or napkins. We had to ask someone else for silverware and napkins and never saw our waitress again until we asked someone else for our check. We never got a refill on our drinks and we needed extra napkins but didn't want to have to go find someone again. It sounded like there was a party going on in the kitchen. Constant boisterous laughter and no one really on the floor. Just as we were leaving the server, who was Maria, asked how everything was. I said the food was great but the service was nonexistent. You sort of disappeared on us. I felt like we were on our own. She said, "well we had to roll napkins" and then giggled. I guess she thought I was joking. Great excuse Maria for not doing your job! We have been here before during breakfast lunch and dinner and they were on point. But to be there between lunch and dinner, it was party time for the staff I guess. Crappie service but good food!

Denny's is a great dinner for early breakfast, late dinner cravings and everything in between. We stopped by late Friday evening and even though they were short staffed the waitstaff did a great job managing the late dinner crowd. We were promptly seated, our order taken and our burger, salads and side dishes were brought out quickly and at the right temps. Great job!
