What a pleasant area to spend some time in nature. I was strolling from downtown to the mission (about 2 miles one way) and Google took me through this park. Cute pond and paths to take all over the park. I sat and enjoyed the shade next to a deeply rooted old tree. The vibe was very chill and people were friendly, many playing with their dogs. I'm glad I was able to experience it. 😌

This is my favorite park in Santa Barbara for a few reasons. 1. Sea turtles. There are many little sea turtles in the pond you can see sun bathing and swimming on rocks throughout the day. 2. Gazebos and grassy knolls. There are a few interesting gazebo structures to stay shaded and cool while watching the animals here. 3. Plant variety. There's a huge variety of old massive trees and unusual florals. Many of the plants have labels on a plant map here because the plant variety was a big intentional draw for the park. 4. Quiet. Despite being so large and interesting, the park is generally pretty quiet and not busy making it a great option during covid.

Alice Keck Memorial Park is beautiful and well maintained. It has lots of curvy walkways, beautiful plants and trees, some of which predated the construction of the park, and a stream and pond. The stream and the pond are artificial, but the ducks and the turtles don't seem to care. If you come to Santa Barbara, you should visit this park.

Small local park with benches spread out, a pond for ducks and turtles, and beautiful trees. Across the street from a playground. There are all sorts who come here including homeless but I’ve felt safe every time I’ve been there. Good for walking dogs for something different. Free Parking along the road.

This park is great for people of all ages. The large wooden structure playground is so much fun for children. There are many beautiful gardens and a duck pond. The paths are easy to walk and it is just a very enjoyable experience. There are green patches where are you can stretch out and have a picnic and watch the money pollinators landing on the flowers. I highly recommend this for a stop, especially if you have children that need to get out some energy.

A urban green spot for walking your dog, relaxing by the pond, watching the ducks, and meeting family and friends. Parking is limited, so READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY! The street cleaning times are very, carefully monitored.

Beautiful little park in the middle of downtown. Perfect for a date, reading or just enjoying the outdoors. Lake and small stream use all reclaimed water. Very unique design.

Not very big, but a great open space with opportunities to sit in the shade. The pond even has terrapins and wading birds as well as loads of ducks including Mallards. I used it as a shortcut when walking from the mission to the courthouse (20 minutes without the detour and taking in the park). Definitely worth the effort.

A truly beautiful and meditative place. The landscaping is truly beautiful, it seems like every single place you look would make a perfect picture postcard, quite photogenic, thus, a great place for a shoot. It's also the perfect place to bring the family for a little quiet time not that far away from State Street. There's also two parks right next to it so it makes an excellent place to bring your touring friends and locals alike.

A beautiful park in central Santa Barbara, it's a good place to find greenery and shade while enjoying ducks, turtles and birds at the pond.

Wonderful neighborhood park. Very dog friendly, lots of small little walking paths to explore. Imagine would be fun to explore with kids. Lots of large green grass with large trees for shade. Saw lots of locals having picnics. There were many benches to sit on and enjoy the park. Would highly recommend to any tourist that wants a little restful park.
