Cool spot. Nothing going on there right now though. Real close to the beach and cool for parking. I park and ride my bike from there to the beach and to downtown. There is a lot of unhoused people living there so be aware. They are friendly tho...

Update 5/2021: Not what it used to be....hordes of tents, garbage and shoddy, parked vehicles populate this place in the evenings now...indicative of the lack of city policy and management for homeless. Probably okay during the day, but after hours there are probably far safer parks elsewhere. I love this place for the tennis courts and proximity to hotels and other mainstays in Santa Barbara. There are lighted walking paths above the tennis courts.

Has a softball field and playground. Also has a large green area and small stage. The park is also very close to the beach, which is nice, but can also make it chilly. The parking lot is big, but the city college (right above) uses it as one of the few free parking lots for the school, so it gets pretty jam packed on the weekdays during the day.

Historical. Amphitheater listen to the music as you sit on the lawn under a shady tree. Street parking and a few homeless. Santa Barbara Foresters baseball ⚾🧢🍻. Views of sunset or marine layer.

Nice clean beach. Clean bathrooms. Showers for rinsing off. Restaurant along the shore with both plated options and chicken finger type options. Great for gatherings or just relaxing 😎

Interesting place. Used by all kinds of different organizations for all kinds of different event. Wonderful location. Currently I go there to watch my nephews play flag football. Definitely not a family park to have a barbecue but hey, I'm sure you could.

This is a very nice park near the beach. My visits here are for SBCC baseball games. The facilities are well groomed and clean. There is almost always a small contingent of homeless in the park during the day but I have never seen them bother anyone.

Great place to come play some sports

This isn't really a park anymore. It's more like a baseball field attached to a homeless camp. The bathrooms aren't ever available for public use.
