First time going here. Best choice we made. First of the service from the girl at the register was excellent. She guided us to the best choices and gave us her opinion on what to order as we asked for it. The place is clean and the service is great. The food now was delicious. Very good flavor and large portions. Loved how everything was plated. The prices were great and affordable. Will definitely be going back for their Green enchiladas.

I ordered the "Tacos a Mano". They came looking like this, completely cold and they do not taste like what I imagined at all. They taste dry and boring. There were also no beans in my rice even though I ordered them. I am usually not a person that likes to complain, but I was very disappointed with my order. I was really hungry and looking forward to it. I ordered via UberEats and paid about 15$ for this, with delivery fees it was 22$

The food is pretty good. Nothing great, but definitely good. I have been coming here for many years. The management (or owners according the general manager) recently decided that a diner who orders a 3 piece combination is only entitled to 2 salsa types (which oddly enough used to be help yourself and all you want). A staff member very rudely explained to me that I could not have more than 2 salsas. I kindly asked for my tip back. The general manager came and took all the food away and agreed to refund my money. I was hungry. I still am as I type this. They lost a good customer today.

We got take-out from here and were so impressed with the variety of the food. Everything was so distinct and the plates were so refreshing. Definitely worth a visit if you like both authentic Mexican food and modern takes on Mexican classics. Loved it!

Los Arroyos is a gem of a Mexican restaurant - a fantastic hole in the wall with no frills, yet it doesn't need any. The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend checking out their salsa bar. They offer a wide variety of sauces to try, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

These people have the worst customer service in town. Had to walk out of this joint twice this week. First because even after walking in and being the first customer in line it took them 8 minutes of not even acknowledging the fact I was there by saying a simple “we’ll be with you soon” and today even after ordering ahead over the phone they got my order wrong and wanted to force me into taking it. Even after I rejected it they took 32 minutes to remake my food after they were done with the rest of orders. There is no doubt Los Agaves is taking their business bc these folks are just into licking their white customers boots.

Paid at the counter for takeout they put my order up on the shelf instead of on the counter for pickup and I sat there for another 15 or 20 minutes waiting to be called. So I got cold food. Left an unhappy review. Update: added 2 stars to my review after Los Arroyos reached out to me to find out what happened and to make it right - thank you Los A+ Arroyos!

Nice little restaurant right off State Street. They have outdoor seating and a friendly staff. Would have been nice to have a bigger salsa bowl. Had to go back a few times. They serve chips with the food. I had the steak nachos, and my friend had the chicken nachos. Both were good.

This place is really awesome Mexican food. I've had the chicken nachos which are amazing and the arroyo burrito with steak. Both really good options if you are looking for a hearty meal. I've heard the quesadillas are really good. I'm going to try that next time I am there. Parking can be a little tight here on the street. Paid lot is probably your best bet.

We enjoyed two veggie burritos that were SO FILLING but I couldn't stop eating because they tasted so good. Plus the salsa bar! Wow! Leslie was so welcoming.l didn't catch the other woman’s name but together they did an amazing job handling the front lines. Highly recommend!

Got the chimichanga-beef was plenty and soft, was a great choice. The service was super quick, order directly at counter, pay and 7min later food is at your table! Chips and salsa was provided and made for a snack while you wait. Inside and outdoor seating available. Restroom was clean- note there is only 1. Recommend giving them a try👌

Pretty solid taco Tuesday! Overall a pleasant experience, at one of our favorite spots in town! Atmosphere can be loud if there's lots of people.

The food was amazing. We got chips and guacamole and the guac was fresh and perfect. The whole fam enjoyed their food. My steak tacos were soooo good, tender steak and the onions were cooked perfectly. They have a nice salsa bar too. If you’re around, you won’t regret stopping here. My children 8 & 6 loved it too. Almost forgot to mention the beans! The beans were soooo good and so was the rice.

Food was good! Price was a bit much for what I purchased. 2 taco combo plate (meaning 2 tacos rice and beans) plus a soda came to almost $22! A little pricey in my opinion. Otherwise was a pleasant experience. A plus: dog friendly if you sit in the parklet dining area!

Shrimp tacos and fajitas are mouth watering good! Love the salsa bar as well!.. believe it or not you can make keto friendly meals here as well, just don't use the tortillas

Susie makes the best Margareta ON THE PLANET EARTH 🌏 🌍 🌎 👌!!!!!!! As for the food.....all of it was the best ever. I live in the Napa Valley area and trust me. Our Mexican food doesn't come close to Los Arroyos!!!!!!hands down!!!

The only thing better than the presentation was the taste. So good. Had the fish & shrimp enchiladas. Very flavorful. The shrimp exploded in my mouth so tasty. We had the guacamole and it was really good. My honey had a guava margarita. Strong and tasty. If we lived here we would be back.

Los Arroyos is the bomb but the website could use some help. People like to check prices also when checking out the menu. Just a tip. Runaway burritos are the bomb here. For the digits they can beef it up a tad, tho. Otherwise nice clean place and great salsa.

Great locals spot for Mexican food in downtown SB. Nothing fancy - but great service and food. Personally - like the combo dishes - but everything is excellent.

The Rice! In this serving of a humble dish I first appreciate another way West Coast Mexican is the best in the US. Rice is so common a foundation to Mexican food that its excellence is an indicator of a stable menu atop it. For the record, at the time of this writing it is solely prepared with chicken broth, but I'll continue to enjoy it from time to time as the mood changes. Until then, I feel privileged to put such fine cooking in my body.

This is a great Mexican restaurant! This is their downtown location. It has indoor seating and a great takeout system. Everything is very fresh and well made with an open kitchen where you can watch them cooking your food. Close to State Street, so it's an easy walk.

The food was delicious. So good I only took pics of the appetizers. When the food landed. I just started eating

Stopped here based on good reviews and we were not disappointed. I will say that the prices do seem to be slightly overpriced based on others. But it was very good. I had the Arroyos Burrito. And had some chips and guacamole. I do recommend, despite the fact we most likely won't be back, due to it being too pricey.
