30 minute wait for table at lunch time. Toes in sand while eating hot perfectly fried French fries and milkshakes, what could be better? Prompt service, delicious food, beautiful weather - how lucky are we?

Great spot right on the water! We split the grilled ahi tuna and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, well seasoned, and a generous enough portion to comfortably share between two people. There's a shaded deck (which does have clear dividers around it so only sort of "outside" if you're worried about covid) and tables and chairs right on the sand. Service was quick and competent. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area or driving by!

INSTANT GRATIFICATION 😍😍 literally parked right in front of the restaurant then right onto the 2nd patio which is on the BEACH. If you’re from a big city like I am you know how valuable it is to go from parking to sitting in a matter of minutes - just that alone is a 5-star experience. Once you’re seated the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves gently dance on your face like a dervish. This Santa Barbara on-beach eatery has an incredible FISH CATCH OF THE DAY delivered onto your dinner table straight from the ocean and configured into your daily ceviche and Baja tacos. Mine today was SNAPPER and my God it was it so fresh and so tasty…so delicious. Good luck peeling me from my fortress of calm gastro-Cabo vibes. Please leave me on the beach Smitten with Splendor…man i am truly at a loss for words - my God… Thank you for SHORELINE CAFE!! 🏝

Very nice place. Extraordinary view on the beach. Ask to be seated outside in the sand, it's gorgeous. Food is very good too. We had breakfast and it's been very great and tasty. Service was nice and welcoming. We were very happy and spontaneously choose to stay a little bit longer and just sit there and watch the ocean.

On a business trip I wandered down to the beach and right into the Shoreline Beach Cafe. I saw a bunch of tables on the beach so I sat down and was greeted right away. I only wanted some beers and they served em up. The view was great and I was able to catch a cool buzz whilst staring at my phone and the ocean.

Went here for a late lunch at 2pm and it's still quite busy. We got seated less than 30 mins wait, the food choices are good, leaning towards Mexican food offerings. Ordered some tasty nachos while my in-laws ordered quesadillas and clam chowder. The atmosphere is nice Bec it has beach views with cool breeze through the dining area (which is outdoor seating only). The service was also great and did their best despite being short staffed. Will go back here again next time. And you should try it too!

The location is perfect for drinks 🍸 👌. We order ceviche (it was ok need more flavor for my taste) clam chowder was delicious and fries too.The coffee and beer was perfect for day. The staff was attentive and friendly. The place is clean and well maintained. We unfortunately sat out in the blue umbrella tables on the sand , along with lots of screaming, bad behaved kids. Next time will ask the host before we ask to be seated.

ABSOLUTELY wonderful place to have amazing pancakes and a truly unbeatable view. (Not so) hidden gem, worthy of a stop along the highway. Not only was the food delicious, the staff were super accommodating and friendly. Stop by and order the blueberry pancakes 😋

This spot is simple with economical pricing, delicious food and and an exquisite view. We had breakfast here and everyone agreed the food was tasty. I had the veggie scramble with potatoes. By far some the best breakfast potatoes. The service was wonderful. Whenever I come back to Santa Barbara I will return again. We sat on the sand and enjoyed the view. The menu is limited but I think that is why everything we had was yummy. There is ample parking, not crowded Beach side location HAPPY CHOMPING

Beautiful spot on the beach away from traffic for a tasty breakfast of Huevos Rancheros. Unobtrusive but attentive service. Literally 50 yards from the ocean with people paddle boarding and combing the sand with metal detectors. My spouse had the Eggs Scramble and loved it too. Plentiful paid parking nearby. Eating on protected patio or on the sand. Recommend it.

Had a nice lunch at an outdoor table, one of 3 or maybe 4 of them that had an overhead covering. There are several more that are on sand with just the sky above. The fish & chips was a generous serving of 4 fillets, & I substituted sweet potato fries for$1.50 more- they were delicious, as was the fish. The tables (including many more inside an enclosure) were for customers serviced by wait staff, not take-out customers. The parking lot there has limited 90 min slots, and paid parking. We had lots of time for long conversations using 2 hours with of parking at a cost of $4 total. Their fish tacos looked really good, as did the chai latte. If had their tuna melt in the past (good) & almost went for the burger or clam chowder. It gets busy for lunch, but arriving at 11:30 there were lots of tables still available then.

Very nice breakfast for me and lunch for my wife. I had two eggs with smoked bacon and crispy, fried potatoes. Tasty. My wife had the Neman ranch burger with all the fixins which she said was great but too much for her. Her dinner later? Watching the waves and the Princess Cruise ship right off the shore made for a nice brunch. Friendly staff and plenty of free parking. We will return when in town. Good job guys.

Excellent on the beach grub and drinks. Parking is great, sometimes even right out front. The staff is helpful with menu items. Menu is not overly complicated and plenty of choices to explore. Tried a couple drinks and fish tacos. The setting and views were great.

Great little Cafe on the beach where you can dine in or grab it to go. Good variety to choose from. I had the seared ahi tuna with carrots and cabbage and sticky rice. They have vegetarian options, fish and chips, tacos, hot dogs, burgers, and poke. Alcohol available too. You can stick your feet on the sand and enjoy your lunch or breakfast on the beach.

It was my friend's birthday and she chose the Shoreline Beach Cafe. It was the perfect Fall night, so clear and crisp. We sat on the covered patio, right on the beach. Our waitress and kitchen staff went way beyond ordinary customer service. I have some food allergies. She asked about how things were cooked, and she asked the kitchen staff if they had any suggestions on substitutes. The kitchen staff made me some special flour tortillas "chips" in a pan so I could have chips and Guacamole. Normally, this appetizer is made with corn chips in corn oil. They made mine with olive oil. I have dearly been missing regular tacos and nachos because of my corn allergy. This Cafe, kitchen staff, and our waitress made my night, and it wasn't my birthday. These people went out of their way to make our experience an excellent one. I am grateful! If you haven't tried them out, please do. Parking is mostly free if you can park in the Cafe's lot next to the restaurant. The Shoreline Beach Cafe is located on Shoreline Drive just after the Harbor turn-off, across the lower parking lots at Santa Barbara City College, or down the hill from Shoreline Park. It's a beautiful area of town, close to the Harbor, close to the beach, SB City College, and The Mesa. It's reasonably priced. Happy Hour is from 4-6 pm, with a full bar, as well as beer and wine.

My husband and I try to visit Santa Barbara at least once a year. We love to have breakfast right on the sand. The Shoreline is perfect. The view is amazing and the food is tasty. I love their fish tacos.

The food is simple but fresh and great tasting. The people working here are really friendly, and the feeling of sitting next to the ocean eating is amazing. 🤩🤩

Oh my gosh the food is so good! You must eat here! Nachos are fantastic, massive plate. Shrimp tacos are the best we’ve ever had Fries are awesome. Burger is small but delicious.

Where else can you sit at a table in the sand (literally on the beach) with a spectacular view of the ocean and islands, and enjoy a great meal? The food is very good, the service is friendly but slow. They’ve added a section of individual beach chairs with attached tables for an even more casual experience. Awesome.

Great location where you can have a table on the sand. Great views. The service was fast, and food was tasty. I liked the fresh grapefruit juice. There was an issue as my credit card was charged twice, which wasn't their fault as they use another company for transactions, but Cameron handled that issue in a very professional and polite manner. Highly recommended!
