Tamira is my favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara (as far as Indian food in SB goes, I have been to Himalayan Kitchen, Bibiji, And Flavor of India as well). Remmie named the restaurant after his wife, Tamira. They are both present at their restaurant daily and work hard to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. Pros: Buffet Masala chai Many vegetarian options available (I love the malai kofta, bangan and paneer) Priced well They have both an indoor and outdoor sitting area with heaters and Bollywood music playing in the background Excellent service (Once we arrived at 2:00 pm and they were closing at 2:30. They kept the restaurant open for a little while longer for us so that we could dine there.) Cons: They aren’t on uber eats yet!

The food here is sooo good. Loved it. The Samosas were so fresh and tasty. My vegetarian meal was great and I really liked the rice. We also had garlic Naan bread and it was great. The service here was so friendly and nice. Overall just great.

They have an extensive Indian spread. The buffet is always on point, which can be difficult having abalance of of to much where the food gets cold and stale and too much where you're scraping the burnt bottom, but never here. This buffet have a great variety. I particularly love the different dippening sauces for the naan bread and the chicken marsala. The staff is friendly and efficient my glass was never empty.

Tasty ethnic food option in the downtown area. Patrons flow through the restaurant speedily. And they refill the food when supply runsblow. So the food is always fresh and warm. The Namm bread makes the whole meal so satisfying.

My husband and I were visiting from out of town so we didn't really know what to expect. We were very pleased to discover a lovely restaurant with semi-outdoor seating. We had the vegetable samosas and they were delicious. The Aloo Gobi was also terrific. The prices were very reasonable and what impressed us most was the attentiveness of the staff. Our water and tea were refilled immediately. The host and waiters checked on us often and cleared our dishes right away. We couldn't have been happier with this restaurant.
