Loved the food here. Had two fish tacos and my buddy had a fish and shrimp taco. My fish tacos were delicious and it came with rice and black beans, big portions too. They have a salsa bar with some pretty good salsas. The young man that took our order was very helpful too. I’d definitely be back in the future.

My wife wanted to try this place for breakfast over what I suggested so of course we came here. This place was basically across the street from our hotel room so it was nearby. When we got there, no one was there so we were there only customer. My wife got the Chilaquiles and I got the #3 breakfast burrito. I didn't enjoy my burrito and it was very greasy. My hand was basically covered in oil after the first bite. My wife enjoyed her Chilaquiles. We ate outside to enjoy the Santa Barbara weather.

If you're hungry for Mexican food, this place hits the spot! The portions are large and delicious. Personally, I had the shrimp fajita bowl- so delicious 😋 Their crunchy & soft tacos are huge and generously topped with cheese, lettuce etc.. help yourself to the Topping bar for variety of salsas, peppers, etc. Staff is oh so generous, they cook fast so you get your order quickly & hot!

Good Taqitos. School cafeteria feeling, English punk and American hard rock in the speakers.

Best hamburger. My kids and I are really picky and omg everyone loved the burger. Patty was big and juicy and they used white cheese! The combo comes with the fries only. Fries are perfect too. My dad had shrimp tacos which on the plate looks like a shrimp salad that's how big they were. My dad always finishes his food and this time he had leftovers that's how big the portion was. He really enjoyed the taste. The only thing my kids noticed that needs to be addressed is the ants by the soda machine. The rest of the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Their hot sauces are really good.

Lots of good food for your money. Came recommend by the Amtrak train depot manager, Moises. I had the chicken chimighanga. I couldn't finish it!

If you are strolling around the main street, take a detour and check this place out. Fish tacos were unbelievable - light but full of flavor, great portions, and complimented with a number of salsa options from the salsa bar - all of which were excellent. Homemade corn tortillas heated up on the griddle. Absolutely fantastic food here! You will not leave hungry but you will leave happy!

This place is insanely good! The salsa bar has an assortment of 5 hot sauces that are incredibly delicious each with its own authentic unique flavor. The salsa bar also has all the fixin's like jalapenos, limes, radishes, carrots, etc. The amount of food you get almost equates to two full meals, the prices are reasonable and the food is absolutely delicious! I recommend the carnitas. Has indoor/outdoor seating.

Very good mexican food fast food restaurant. Chile Relleno and Chile Verde Burritos are very good. A lot of ingredients and bigger than most places. Potato Taquitos are amazing, seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their salsa's are very good and better than most places, we tried and loved all three.

Sizable portions, tasty food, accommodating staff. Inside and outside seating. You order and pick up from the counter and bus your own table.

Opted to take away from here twice on my four night solo vacation instead of going out to a restaurant - it was that good. Fresh, no msg, easy to order gluten-free and dairy-free (fajita bowl was excellent). Super reasonably priced, friendly staff, very clean facility and almost no wait. Their Mexican rice is delicious! Located a short walk from my hotel in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Highly recommend

Ordered the chicken enchiladas w/red sauce and double rice. It was ok for a quick lunch, but expected more for $17. The freshly fried bag of chips with salsa was a nice bonus though. Made me want to sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on them and eat for dessert. 😋

Great place for Mexican food! I tried the green enchiladas and the pork nachos. Both delicious! They have a salsa bar with variety of salsas and condiments for your order. Highly recommend if your on a budget and looking for where the locals eat.

Great restaurant, my personal favorite of all the Rudy’s locations in Santa Barbara. If I could, I would give this review 4.5/5 because of the not-melted cheese often times in the center and the “lightly” cooked tortilla. I personally prefer a more cooked tortilla for my burritos (I won’t knock a restaurant for my personal taste) but I will for cold cheese.

This is good food and cheap. As I am gluten intolerant I could eat taquitos and have some nachos. This dish costed 7.50 dollar. Friendly staff and they worked very quickly.

Best Mexican food I had in 54 years! Very nice to sit. Porcelain plates, salsa bar and delicious burritos. Decent prices, big parking lot. Highly recommented!

The fish tacos were incredible! Seems that they make their own tortillas as they were thick and tasted great. Also the cashier was a cool guy👌

I came across this amazing restaurant a few years ago while I was out of town. Now, I travel the 2 hours it takes to get there for their delicious chicken tacos. The tacos are so big, just one taco is two meals. It is a must that I stop here when driving through Santa Barbara. Thanks Rudy's!
