My
friend
was
visiting
from
out
of
State.
It
was
her
last
day
here,
we
decided
to
go
to
breakfast.
The
Lilac
Patisserie
was
number
1
on
our
list.
The
reviews
were
good
and
the
"word"
around
town
said
it
was
a
treat
not
to
be
missed!
We
got
there
when
they
opened.
We
ordered,
were
given
a
number
and
we
sat
down
to
wait.
My
friend
ordered
Eggs
Benedict,
and
I
had
French
Toast
with
a
side
of
Applewood
Smoked
Bacon.
We
had
coffee
with
cream.
My
French
Toast
came
with
sweet,
tasty
strawberries
&
blueberries.
There
was
real
maple
syrup
served
warm.
My
Toast
was
Gluten
Free
which
was
a
big
selling
point
for
me.
Our
coffee
came
in
individual
porcelain
pour
pots
and
a
small
glass
container
of
cream.
Everything
tasted
great!
The
staff
was
warm
and
friendly.
Everything
was
served
with
a
smile,
and
it
all
looked
(and
smelled)
awesome.
The
restaurant
itself
was
so
pretty
and
clean.
The
inside
is
painted
a
light
lavender
color
with
white
touches.
The
floor
had
that
tile
called
"Penny
Tiles".
There
are
high
ceilings
and
lots
of
glass.
They
have
lots
of
delicious-looking
cakes,
and
other
baked
goods
made
right
on
the
premises.
Be
aware
though,
that
not
everything
on
the
menu
is
offered
daily.
The
baked
good
will
fluctuate,
as
there
isn't
enough
room
for
all
of
it.
You
may
want
to
check
out
their
website
for
specific
cakes
and
order
them
ahead
of
time.
We
parked
in
the
public
lot
behind
the
restaurant
on
Figueroa.
If
you
are
lucky
enough
to
grab
street
parking,
go
for
it.
The
restrooms
are
clean.
