Absolutely top tier ice cream! This place is a must try parlour in the middle of Santa Barbara. They have quite a few flavours to try but my favourite is the Cornbread flavour. The staff are very sweet and the place has a good amount of outdoor seating

So glad the folks I’m housesitting for was kind enough to tell me about this place and that they do “pup cups”❣️What a perfect treat for tonight. My little pup sit was missing her ‘cousin’ who left today, moping & missing her buddy. So a cool evening walk for this luscious treat was the perfect ending. She sat in line so patiently and was just so good! I treated myself to a single dip pistachio amaretto and it was as delicious as it sounds. Treat yourself, slow down, stand in line, chat with the others and enjoy the evening.

Paradise for ice cream lovers! There are many flavors that you can choose, and the prices are reasonable. I didn’t like too sweet flavors, so the clerk helped to pick up dark chocolate flavor. That tasted nice! The pink one is strawberry flavor. I could even taste the real strawberry inside! You need to take note of that they don’t provide samples for the customers due to Covid-19 situation.

As a regular patron of this local ice cream shop, I cannot emphasize enough how the frozen yogurt, along with the consistently cheerful service, never fails to make my day absolutely perfect. The fro- yo is a consistent delight, with its impeccable balance of creamy texture and tangy sweetness. It's the go-to choice for those looking for a refreshing and satisfying 'low-cal' alternative to the world famous McConnell's ice cream. What truly sets this ice cream shop apart is the exceptional service. The staff here goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. In an era where exemplary customer service is often hard to come by, the happy service at this local ice cream shop is a refreshing change. With top notch fro-yo and ice cream, and a team that genuinely cares about their customers, it's my go-to spot to brighten up any day. I wholeheartedly recommend giving this place a try if you're in search of a delightful treat and a smile to go with it.

The ice cream is incredible! Service was fast and efficient. They have a small little patio in the back where you can sit and eat your ice cream. One has to wait in line outside in the parking lot until one gets waived to come into the store. We had to wait for around 8 minutes so not too bad, but the line got really long after we got served and people were waiting in line for around 15 minutes.

Great flavors and friendly staff. It may look like a large line but it moves quickly. This is due to the great service! We had a party of nine and we were in and out. I can’t wait to come back for another chocolate covered strawberry ice cream!

I love going here. They have a wide variety of flavors from normal to wacky. The shop also has frozen yogurt and milkshakes but I've never gotten one. Usually there is a small line, but it's worth it. There is some parking in front that usually fills. However if you head a little down the road parking is abundant. There is also nice outdoor seating.

This place has decent ice cream. Not too sweet and not too bland. I liked their caramel chips scoop. The ice cream flavors on the menu changes, so what is shown in the photos on google reviews won’t be the same.

This is my favorite place in town for ice cream and yogurt. If you are at all health concerned and care about your sugar grams while you're breaking your diet, definitely give this place a try. The Only 8 yogurt is pretty tasty and has the least amount of calories and sugar out of all the choices. Can't go wrong with any of the delicious ice cream flavors either. The downsides are that you can often walk up to a line out the door. Their also is limited parking in their tiny lot and sometimes street parking is tough. You can always use the Daily Grind lot across the street though. This is a great spot. A must try.

Really liked this ice cream spot in the heart of Santa Barbara. I got the one scoop sundae, which was huge and yummy. Bring your appetite. Line seemed long but only lasted 10 mins.

It's been over 15 years since we've been here! We got a hold of this beautiful Sundae. It brought back memories of my youth! Parking is good and the crew is 😊.

Featuring world famous McConnell's Ice Creams this is a must have treat when in town! Cute outdoor seating area to enjoy your dessert. The chocolate covered strawberry ice cream still makes my mouth water.

Line was pretty long, about 10 people in front of us, and at least 15 to 20 behind, but they moved everyone through pretty quickly. Staff were super nice, and the Earl Gray and butter cookie and lemon and elderberry were a fantastic combo if you ask for a half and half single scoop!

It’s ice cream. It’s good. Adding flavors as we try them. Churros: 11/10 - perfect Chocolate caramel cooki: 7/10 - great when you first try it, but the salt and bitters from the dark chocolate linger too long.

Not a good experience. Ordered banana splits with three flavor ice cream scoops, this bowl is soooo deep, we dig for 5 mins but can only taste cream and chocolate toppings (these two can not choose) , super sweet. Really want to find ice cream on the bottom ! But the spoon is super soft and bendy, it’s impossible to dig to the bottom. After 15mins , I just gave up....

We checked into this place for the first time as one of our friends gave us a treasure gift. Nice little treat to cold down during summer ⛱️

I only go for froyo... best I've ever had! Good quality too... I always feel great afterward. I get the original tart. And they've got a few really low-cal flavors if into that.

Been going to this store since I was a kid when it was just plain McConnell's, their proprietary machines create a beautiful dense full-bodied and absolutely scrumptious ice cream. I mean beyond what you're used to that's for darn sure! There's a wide variety of flavors and there's always flavors of the month. They always have a young friendly staff keeps scooping that ice cream all day long. A Santa Barbara favorite for locals and tourists alike.

A trip to Santa Barbara wouldn't be complete without a visit to Mission Street Ice Cream. I have simple tastes (is there any other favor than chocolate? 😂). But Mission Street has the best ice cream. Lots of choices besides chocolate not that I stray far but my wife likes to experiment.

Their ice cream is superb, but every time I'm in Santa Barbara, I stop by for the soft-serve. Try the Greek Honey, Vanilla (yes, Vanilla), they are the creamiest soft-serve you have ever tasted. Also, portions are huge, the two in the photos are small! Highly recommend.

Impossible to mess up selling McConnell's ice cream. Rich folks Baskin Robbins. Simply the best ice cream on the planet. Whatever the flavor inventor is smoking I want some. A-Mazing, always.

Amazing ice cream, yogurt and gelato, crazy delicious flavors. I recommend. Make sure to have a mask as they are serving one family at a time.

The prices might seem a bit high for those not used to Santa Barbara, but the servings are large, the quality of the ice cream superior and the staff as friendly as they are helpful. A line of locals waiting outside to be served after 9pm is usually a good sign.

There's usually a long line of people waiting for some ice cream, even when it's chilly, even at night. A few parking spaces available on site.

Absolutely delicious place to get ice cream! It’s an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, with very unique flavors. I tried the mint chocolate chip ice cream which was absolutely delicious as well as the chocolate chocolate chocolate ice cream flavor. Both were really really good. I also got the chocolate waffle cone which was bit too much, and probably I won’t order it again. I also appreciate that they let me use the restroom even though it’s Covid.
