👍 Very cool place but not sure if was right for my almost 3 year old, probably better for older kids. I did see a rusty nail, and definitely watch out for splinters. The design is cool and unique (but a bit weird for my taste, haha). People often mention kids, park, playground, great,

Such a great park with so many great features that encourage coordination, strength, balance, agility and decision making, as well as creativity. It's like an obstacle course and maze within a castle. There's also a section for younger children. The entrances are gated designed to keep kids in, but they can open easily, so watch kids closely. All parks should be constructed like this! Our kids loved it!

Best park ever. These wooden parks are so much fun for kids. This is definitely one of the most scenic parks I’ve ever visited with my kids. The duck pond site was so well maintained as well. Public restrooms are pretty well maintained too.

Fun playground! Lots of climbing and different stuff to do and the structure is different than traditional playgrounds, which makes it more fun. The kids also seem to love the whale, shark and dolphin statues that they can climb on. Bathroom seem pretty clean and a lot of benches for adults to sit down and a lot of picnic tables to eat. Plus there is huge grass area for the kids to run around. It was our first time there and all in all it was very fun for the kids!

Super awesome fun place to take your kids (until the high school kids got out of school and all flocked there to smoke weed....at a kids park.)

My nephews loved it! They had so much fun running around and playing with the other kids! One of them was climbing on all the things and the other was running around having a blast. We kept them entertained there for 6 whole hours!

Outstanding playground. Restrooms are sub-par but this is a one of a kind play place, great for older kids. It’s built like a castle with lots of twists and turns and places to hide. Small kids may get stuck or lost but for kids 5 and up this place is a dream.

Wondrous giant wooden play structures for adventurous kids of all ages set inside one of Santa Barbara's premier parks. Highly recommended.

Great playground that worked well for our kids, ages 5 and 7. Large wooden structure with a whale and shark to climb on. Nice that it's all fenced in so kids can't easily leave without you knowing. Public bathrooms are in the park, nearby.

Hands down THE BEST park for kids. Kept my 7 year old entertained for hours. She was unusually drained when we got back home & slept like a baby right away. It's her favorite park in a great location. Parking is hard on the weekends though

My kids love it here. So much to do. Plenty of surrounding areas for picnics or walks or playing ball.

Phenomenal park with lots of things for the kids to do. The parking situation wasn't great, but it was also a Saturday morning with several parties happening as well. Would highly recommend!

Fun place for kids to play, run, climb and frolic. The main fortress is a maze so it's hard to keep track of your kids and a couple of spots look slightly dangerous and or toddler wants to go every time we drive by.

Very nice place for the kids. It is strongly build as a fortress. Really worth to visit for parents with the younger kids.

Very cool playground for the kids. Giant play structure kept 5 kids between 6 and 13 entertained for a couple of hours and then they moved over to some beautiful, giant Magnolia trees to do some climbing.

Great park for all ages. Weekends are busy and street parking can get tight. Definitely worth a stop heading up or down the 101.

This place is one of the best playgrounds our boys (3 and 5) have experienced to date, and we travel full-time! Kids art, varied equipment, and many books and crannies to explore make this a standout!

Great huge wooden playground. So many nooks and crannies, kids can get into! It's like a maze in there. 1 giant shark and 1 giant whale. The bathrooms were pretty close too which I really liked.

Wonderfully whimsical playground! The other half of the park across the street has beautiful gardens and a duck and turtle pond! The 2.5 year old loved everything! We spent about 2.5 hours between both.

We have been taking our kids here for the last couple of years, and it's always fun for them. There's a younger kid section that's much smaller, but still has all the same maze-style club houses that the big kid side has... So toddlers as well as kids can enjoy. Also tables to stop and enjoy lunch if you pack one. Not a fan of the figs, since kiddo tries to eat them 🤦🏽‍♀️ but overall a great kids park.

Great place for organic fun. We only visited the once for a couple hours, but it was a fun time. A few benches and picnic tables within the boundaries of the playground makes it easier for families and parents. Knocked off a star because there are more than one entrance gate to the playground, and could be easy for a kid not being watched to escape or be lured away.
